I've decided NOT to have CA/PA as something that can be altered. Instead, everything will be randomly assigned (you're basically just creating a person with name, date of birth, hair colour etc.) Once approved, you can then move the player to a club, add a contract, change player position etc. exactly like you can do with existing players. All things going well, this will be available for people to use within the next 24 hours. This is great news Will this ever be expanded to clubs? This isn't to make random people up, it's for people that aren't in the database that should be. Caleyjag Posted November 20, 2013 Author Share Posted November 20, 2013 CREATE MISSING PLAYERS & STAFF! You can now create players, scouts, coaches, managers etc. via the website. Once submitted and approved, you can then assign them to clubs, change contracts, positions, roles etc. just like players that already exist within Football Manager. As a result of this change, you should ensure that if you use our Windows app you download the latest version (v1.5.1) via the website otherwise you won't get these created people in your game. Someone else might create them for the MLS - it's worth looking at the Steam Workshop to see if there is anything there as well as these forums. Well that wasnt to have been the case as Liverpool have today announced he has joined Yeovil until the window opens on loan with option to buy. Kenny Shiels (116800) is the new manager of Morton (of the scottish leagues), while (in game) current manager David Hopkin needs relegating from manager to a 1st team coach. Reedy_1988 Posted December 13, 2013 Share Posted December 13, 2013 Apologies for back to back posting, i've just imported the most recent database changes and it seems 'John Coleman' is set to Southport as assistant manager but in reality he should be the manager, same applies to 'Richie Barker' at Portsmouth, and it's showing 'Jimmy Bell' still HOY at Port Vale but he should be assistant manager to 'John Coleman'. Caleyjag Posted December 16, 2013 Author Share Posted December 16, 2013 Reedy - the problem with all of those is that when a staff member is transferred to a new club/nation they also need their role changed. For some reason SI forces every staff member to be "Coach First Team" when you move them, so when you transfer a staff member, you also need to change their role on the website from Coach First Team to Manager First Team (if they are a new manager).
