Ruslan97
Well, there are things like that on FM forums for russian-speakers, you can upload db from there and see what to start from, or just take that ready file and play

Jorgen
You guys are aware this is a six year old topic and it never happened since? Some articles: http://futbolgrad.com/new-unified-league-back-to-the-soviet-union/http://www.thefalsenine.co.uk/2013/01/28/the-cis-league-political-football-in-the-soviet-union/http://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/62862 As this is a quite interesting idea, not just for the former Soviet clubs, I've done some thinking about this. I think it would be a bad idea to create supernational competitions that break the original national competitons. The way England is doing it (border teams in nearest competition) and the way Monaco and Liechtenstein are doing it (no, or too small national competition, thus participating abroad) is fine. If teams want to play more (semi-)international/continental matches, like all former-Yugoslavian nations; all former Soviet nations; a Benelux competition, etc; I think it could better be setup as cups. At the end of the season the league winners and cup winners advance to a international, but still regional cup, like the Baltic Cup, Royal League, CIS Cup, etc. We would then have 4 levels of club matches: national, national-regional, continental and intercontinental. This way you could still benefit from extra matches, extra income, extra exposure and some very interesting clashes between the best teams of different nations, without breaking all and everything as it is now. You could also do this one level below the national level: create a pre-season or end-season regional cup with the best teams in your province/region/state, or vs the best teams of the other provinces/regions/states. I t could also create tension though. If teams from two or more nations that have historic ties, are still unfriendly towards each other. Yes that could happen in the CL or EL too, but those are not created only for regional matches. As the CIS Cup and Royal League ceased to exist and the BeNeLiga or Atlantic Leagues never even got beyond the "ideas on paper" stage, I think it is not really a real option to merge leagues or to create superleagues. I would suspect most fans would like to see Ajax - Anderlecht, or Manchester - Rangers, but does anyone want to visit or even play matches vs the number 10 of a foreign league? Travel to small teams that have no history whatsoever with the teams in your own league? Wolf_pd
There was some news on it after the Ukraine-Russia fallout, mentioning although Ukraine was initially interested, but no longer so due to political tensions. Anyway, I should be more awake when posting
