weight

Weight factors into the strength attribute mainly but also affects the other physical stats. Heavier players tend to have a higher strength attribute and lower pace and acceleration. if you have a heavy striker with 20 strength, it would be worthwhile to have him as a targetman with balls supplied to feet for example.

If he had a forward with 20 strength and one was 10 stone and one was 30 stone it would make no difference.

I think the OP was talking about weight influence on the pitch.

For example, 2 players, one with 60kg and the other with 90kg, in a hard dispute ball. IRL the heaviest would probably win the ball.

I think that in FM, weight don't have any influence on the pitch.

I believe it does.Every player needs to be, in one or all, fit, strong, agile and fast. In the perfect team all the players would possess these attributes. However, we don’t live in a perfect world.I have therefore identified the key, also in training, requirements of players according to position. Speed, stamina and mental attitude will be the key underpinning elements, for all positions.I try to include weight in these. The following stats are somehow relative.

The following statistics are provided by ProZone:

I am actually running a test where every player weighs over 100kgs... and my players weigh around 80kg with PAOK from greece will let you know!

Once I did a test on height where every player was 155cm :p and my players were all over 190cm didn't make a difference...
