nastymiller
BREAKING NEWS Mike Nevo leaves Vauxhall for Swedish Premier Division side Kalmar FF Kalmar have paid an initial £8,000 for the youngster with another £14,000 to be paid over a period of time. The young man is believed to be happy with the move and the San Marino U19 vice-captain is currently on holiday waiting for the Swedish season to start, currently still on a youth contract of £10 per week, his contract takes a huge jump in July 2012 when he turns 17 and will then be earning £1.8k per week! the length of the contract is 3 years. Important action needed just by Mike Nevo - and this is a one time offer :-) You currently have 119.5 coaching points, I will allow you to spend 6.375 per position skill point. So for example if you wanted to make your player a striker too and wanted to make his skill in this position 10 out of 20, it would cost you 63.75 points. You can spend as many as you wish, and on as many positions as you want. PM me with what you wish to do.......but wait........if you don't want to spend any points, then I will send you your player card and you can spend your points upgrading his current skills. nastymiller
November 2010 November saw the first of the young guns leave Vauxhall, Sweden may not have been where I expected the player to leave to, but it's top flight football and better training facilities etc. On the domestic front Vauxhall continue to play well in the league and had a great cup run before finally bowing out to Shrewsbury in the 2nd Round. (A) Gainsbrough 2-0 Win: Willy Wonka and Obi Anoruo the goalscorers. (H) North Leigh (FA Cup) 6-0 Win: Steve Duffy, Leighton McGivern (2), John Harkness and Willy Wonka (2) the goalscorers. (H) Stafford 4-1 Win: Steve Duffy, Mike Nevo, Obi Anoruo and Nathan Walker the goalscorers. (A) Redditch 1-0 Win: Andy Taylor the goalscorer. (H) Ebbsfleet (FA Trophy) 4-1 Win: David Ginsberg, Leighton McGivern, Andy Taylor and Willy Wonka the goalscorers. (A) Shrewsbury 3-2 Defeat: Willy Wonka and David Mannix the goalscorers. Player Profile for November is Wing Back (Left) Sercan Cali: With just 1 league start for the attacking full back, a move is in order to get his career kick-started, and a move overseas is what I would recommend as not many teams in English football play with a wing-back. Currently his country also avoid the wing back position, so it may be wise to try and train in a 2nd position as back up. Has agreed to sign a contract with Vauxhall when he hits 17 the level headed youngster will I am sure do things for the right reasons and still have an amazing career. Other News: Joey Turner, Martyn James, Nathan Walker, Omar Brown, Galen Zantk, David Ginsberg and Leonardo Lombardo have all signed pre-contract terms with Vauxhall, whilst Ben Smith and Barrio Wilkinsonio have turned theirs down telling the football world that the basic wage they were offered and poor bonus for first team games as the reason. Omar Brown has up to 2 weeks left on a twisted ankle injury, has been out of action for the last 4 weeks. Ya Pierre-Dolle should be back in a day after a 4 week lay off due to a pulled hamstring during a match, Martyn James could have anything up to another 12 days out for broken ribs - has been out for the last 3 weeks due to the injury he picked up during a match. This is the second 'break' of his careers after missing a couple of weeks last month due to a broken nose. Finally Long Tym Toon should be back in 6 days following his gashed leg 2 weeks ago during a match. Important action needed just by Ben Smith - and this is a one time offer :-) You currently have 26 coaching points, I will allow you to spend 7.325 per position skill point. So for example if you wanted to make your player a striker too and wanted to make his skill in this position 10 out of 20, it would cost you 73.25 points. nastymiller
December 2010 Quite a number of games in December, in fact 8 games and no defeats saw the young Vauxhall team continue to storm the league and do well in the cups. (A) Worcester 2-0 Win: Steve Duffy and Willy Wonka the goalscorers. (H) Corby 2-1 Win: Willy Wonka (2) the goalscorer. (A) Gloucester 3-0 Win: Martyn James, Sercan Cali and Omar Brown the goalscorers. (H) Southport (FA Trophy) 1-1 Draw: Willy Wonka the goalscorer. (A) Southport (FA Trophy) 2-1 Win: Sheldon Jacobs and Omar Brown the goalscorers. (A) Solihull Moors 2-2 Draw: David Ginsberg and Steve Duffy the goalscorers. (H) Droylsden 4-0 Win: Nathan Walker, Leighton McGivern, John Harkness and Omar Brown the goalscorers. (A) Guiseley 2-0 Win: Willy Wonka and David Ginsberg the goalscorers. Player Profile for December is Defensive Midfielder / M © Nathan Walker: A very solid start to this young man's footballing career, having started 19 first team games and coming on as sub 3 times. 5 goals (1 a pen), 4 assists, and 1 yellow card for this 7.18 average rating player. Closing in on 100 miles of running this season, he sits at 85.4 at the moment, a solid all round midfield player with 72% of his passes going to a team mate, 69% of tackles being won and 74% of headers also going the same way. Other News: Steve Duffy has signed pre-contract terms with Vauxhall. Martyn James is out for 3 to 9 days due to his thigh strain, 2 weeks has already been lost and this is his 3rd injury. Leonardo Lombardo too is onto his 3rd injury, this time a thigh strain too and he also has 3 to 9 days out - and yes you guessed correctly, 2 weeks he has been out for! Long Tym Toon still has a couple of weeks until he is over his strained neck injury, been out for 4 days so far. nastymiller
BREAKING NEWS Barrio Wilkinsonio leaves Vauxhall for English Premier Division Wolverhampton Wanderers Wolves have paid £8,000 for the youngster. Amazingly the lad with hardly any football to his name has poxed a move to the English top flight! Possibly a loan move will be in store as Wolves play a flat back four and I'm not sure Mick McCarthy will employe flying full backs! Currently on £90 a week, which will rise to a massive £2.5k a week when he turns 17 years of age. Will be interesting what happens over the next year or so with this outspoken attacking full back. Important action needed just by Barrio Wilkinsonio - and this is a one time offer :-) You currently have 9.5 coaching points, I will allow you to spend 8.85 per position skill point. Barrio will spend 8.85 to increase his Midfield Right position by 1 skill point.

nastymiller
January 2011 A new year, but the same old Vauxhall, win, win, and more wins - let's hope the club finds some investment before all the youth players have moved on so they don't start dropping down the league. Should be nailed on for the league win, and possibly in with a FA Trophy shout. (A) Droylsden 3-1 Win: Willy Wonka and Sercan Cali (2) the goalscorers. (H) Workington 1-1 Draw: Ya Pierre-Dolle the goalscorer. (A) Gainsborough 4-1 Win: Steve Duffy, David Mannix, Joey Turner and John Harkness the goalscorers. (A) Stafford 2-1 Win: Willy Wonka and Ya Pierre-Dolle the goalscorers. (H) Hyde (FA Trophy) 4-1 Win: Martyn James, Ya Pierre-Dolle (2) and Willy Wonka the goalscorers. (H) Nuneaton 2-1 Win: John Harkness and Willy Wonka the goalscorers. (H) Gloucester 4-0 Win: Martyn James (2), John Harkness and Long Tym Toon the goalscorers. Player Profile for January is Striker Willy Wonkar: Willy Wonka will, with the right development become a world beater, already gained 6 ability points due to the coaching at Vauxhall a good move to a better league for next season should help develop him even move. 23 goals in 34 senior games with an avg rating of 7.43 the young lad is doing great, and has pledged his future to the club even though he is very ambitious young man. Media-friendly with a regional reputation, everything seems to be going well for the striker and long may it last. 30 goals should be an easy ask for the 16 year old, can he make it 40 and an outstanding first season? Other News: Joey Turner, Long Tym Toon have both signed pre-contract terms with Vauxhall. Nathan Walker's season is over! A torn calf muscle has seen to that and maybe 5 months on the sidelines, currently been out for 3 weeks devestating news. Omar Brown fractured some ribs 4 weeks ago and it will still be around 6 weeks before he is back, rest of the players seem to be clear from injury at the moment. nastymiller
International's 07/08/09th of February 2011 Now 176th best team in the world, so moving in the right direction, that now goes to Andorra. U19's had an away date in Georgia, the U21's away in Andorra whilst the senior side played Liechtenstein at home. First team lost 2-1 in front of 2,960 fans - none of our players played in the game U19's team lost 1-0 in front of 2,860 fans - none of our players played in the game. U21's grabbed a 2-0 win in front of 439 fans. Changing formation to a 3-1-4-2 it worked, and worked well. Y.Pierre-Dolle - A.Ceccoli B.Smith - M.James - L.Tym-Toon - S.Duffy L.Liverani M.Nevo - L.Lazzarinin - D.Ginsberg G.Zantk Leonardo Lombardo, Sercan Cali, John Harkness and Willy Wonka on the bench, none of which came on. A game where the scoreline did not flatter and should have been closer based on the number of chances for both teams, Ya Pierre-Dolle the hero for the away side scoring in the 6th and 58th minutes. nastymiller
Turner didn't play for the U-21's this time What's his AVG Rating so far? nastymiller
February 2011 Another month, and another undefeated month and further progression in the FA Trophy. (A) Eastwood 2-1 Win: Martyn James and Willy Wonka the goalscorers. (H) York 1-1 (FA Trophy) Draw: Ya Pierre-Dolle the goalscorer. (H) Hinckley 1-0 Win: Willy Wonka the goalscorer. (A) York 2-1 Win: Willy Wonka (2) the goalscorer. (A) Mansfield (FA Trophy) 2-2 Draw: Leighton McGivern and Obi Anoruo the goalscorers. Player Profile for February is Defender (Right) Omar Brown: A couple of bad injuries has seen this young man's ability slightly decrease so far, dropping from 100 to 98, however once fit I expect him to be pulling the shirt on again and build up some coaching points to push his ability back up and then over the 100 mark. 4 goals in 22 games is a good start to his career and has an U21 cap to his name. Outspoken young full-back is great in the tackle with 84% of tackles won! Other News: John Harkness is still out for 4 days with a bruised head, missed just 5 days with the injury so far, Ya Pierre-Dolle has maybe another 2 weeks out with his broken ribs. Nathan Walker has maybe another 4 months to go, finally Omar Brown should be back in 2 days. nastymiller
International's 24/25/26 of March 2011 Now 172nd best team in the world, and moving up the rankings ever so slowly. U19's had an away date in Scotland, the U21's away in Japan whilst the senior side played Scotland away. First team lost 3-0 in front of 33,782 fans - none of our players played in the game U19's team lost 4-0 in front of 5,892 fans - none of our players played in the game. U21's lost 3-1 win in front of 13,212 fans. Poor result, but a long way to travel for a friendly. Y.Pierre-Dolle - W.Wonka B.Smith - M.Battistini - M.James - C.Righi L.Liverani D.Ginsberg- L.Lazzarinin - L.Lombardo G.Zantk Mike Nevo, Sercan Cali, John Harkness, Omar Brown and Steve Duffy on the bench, none of which came on. Never really in the game, went 2-0 down before Ya Pierre-Dolle hit a 60th minute goal to pull one back, before the game ended 3-1 to the home side. However all good experiance for the boys and especially D.Ginsberg, B.Smith and G.Zantk made their 4th U21 caps and think it is only a matter of time before 1 of these makes the step up to the senior side. nastymiller
March 2011 8 more games and 7 wins and a draw including an FA Trophy Semi Final (2 Legs), so still unbeaten in the league and off to a cup final - what a first season! (H) Mansfieled (FA Trophy) 1-0 Win: Willy Wonka the goalscorer. (H) Alfreton 3-0 Win: Willy Wonka, Sheldon Jacobs and Long Tym Toon the goalscorers. (A) Hyde 1-0 Win: Scott McGory the goalscorer. (H) Darlington (FA Trophy) 4-1 Win: Ya Pierre-Dolle, John Harkness, Martyn James and Omar Brown the goalscorers. (A) Nuneaton 2-0 Win: Steve Duffyand Long Tym Toon the goalscorers. (A) Darlington (FA Trophy) 1-1 Draw: Willy Wonka the goalscorer. (A) Corby 2-1 Win: Leighton McGivern (2) the goalscorer. (H) Eastwood 2-1 Win: Leighton McGivern and Andy Taylor the goalscorers. Player Profile for March is Midfielder (Right) Joey Turner: A solid if unspectacular midfield player with 21 first team games under his belt including 2 goals, 10 assists, 2 m.o.m's and a yellow card. As said, a very solid player who gives his all, 85.7 miles he has run so far this year and should break the 100 miles mark if he keeps fit. A very loyal young man and is medi-friendly and known locally in the area. Other News: Long Tym Toon and Sercan Cali both signed pre-contracts meaning they become full time players for Vauxhall when they hit 17 years old. Nathan Walker should be out for another 8 weeks due to his calf muscle, and has currently been out for 3 months. Over in Sweden, Ben Smith and Mike Nevo have both had a great pre-season and both have played in both games of the season, in the English Prem Barrio is playing youth and reserve football and will be hoping for a loan move to kick start his career. nastymiller
April 2011 With just one more game of the season left, that being a cup final - April saw the Vauxhall team lose a couple of games, and no wonder - with most of the team being just 16 years of age, it will have been a long hard slog for them. (H) Redditch 2-0 Win: Leighton McGivern and Long Tym Toon the goalscorers. (H) Blyth 1-0 Win: Chris Noone the goalscorer. (A) Harrogate 2-1 Loss: Obi Anoruo the goalscorer. (H) Solihull Moors 2-0 Win: David Mannix and Long Tym Toon the goalscorers. (A) AFC Telford 1-1 Draw: Scott McGrory the goalscorer. (H) Stalybridge 2-1 Loss: Long Tym Toon the goalscorer. (A) Boston Utd 2-1 Win: Craig Mahon and Josh Wilson the goalscorers. Will the young team be able to put 1 last effort in and win the FA trophy? Can they overcome Newport County who finished 8th in the Blue Square Prem? Player Profile for April is Defender (Centre) Leonardo Lombardo: A few injuries early in the season has knocked the young man's CA back 2 points, but with plenty of football played this season (31 first team games) I am sure when he sits down for his end of season training brief he will soon pull that back. Still to score for the club, this young centre half has set 4 goals up, got 1 man of the match award and collected 2 yellow cards. A monster of a defender with a 75% pass completion rate, 91% tackle win and 86% of headers won he has had a great season. Add to that 108.4 miles run he has won 80% of all matches he has played in this season. Other News: Just a couple of weeks left before Nathan Walker is back fit - will be an important pre-season for the young man after missing so much of this season (CA is 98 so not too much of a decline). For Wolves Barrio has damaged his spine and has been out injuried for 8 days, should be fit in 8 weeks ready for pre-season training. Ben Smith has been sent to his clubs reserve team who play in the bottom tier of Swedish football and has played the last 3 games scoring 1 goal, setting 1 up and getting the M.O.M. in 1 match. Mike Nevo continues to play for his first team and has played a total of 5 league games so far. Coming up - cup final report and end of English season player round up and coaching point totals. marty78
Awesome. I would expect another league win next year being that dominant this year and with CA scores continuously improving. 111 CA with only Ginsberg being better. It is also interesting seeing how much the injuries hurt CA improvement.
nastymiller
Right guys, so as not to clutter up in-boxes etc, pop along to http://photobucket.com/vauxhallsanmarino when asked for the password it is: millers. You have your coaching points, now you just need to let me know how to spend them. You calculate the amount of points like this example: Passing currently 7 but you want to move it to 15 it will cost 8+9+10+11+12+13+14+15 = 92 If you want to drop a stat - so for example injury prone is currently 14 and you want to drop it to 6 it would be 13+12+11+10+9+8+7+6 = 76. So fill your boots and crack on - post your changes here. For the lads in Sweden, you were sent the chance to change your stats when you moved clubs, the chance to increase stats will come at the end of your domestic season. In regards changes to position stats, you only get this chance when your player moves clubs. Enjoy and lets boost these players!
