ddidiodion
Don't fancy the Liverpool - A, Spurs - H, Newcastle - A, Stoke, Chelsea - A run in October/September... good job it's got a Carling Cup game to break it up. I've also seen easier run-ins, but that didn't do us any good last season so...

Icelander83
Anyway, on to the fixtures. I wouldn't be surprised to see us going to Anfield with 12 points on the board. I'd actually be very disappointed if we don't have at least 10 points by that time.

Icelander83
Just seen on twitter (since I hadn't bothered checking myself), we are playing away after 5 of 6 CL group matchdays. That's bad enough but the away games are against Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa and City What the heck is that??

Icelander83
Yes, Fulham, Blackburn and QPR are completely comparable But on a more serious note, this will have a serious impact unless we somehow manage to actually perform in the CL this season and can do some heavy rotation in those games
Barry Cartman
Actually... You weren't champions last season, we aren't champions this season. So what is your point here? I meant that you get to play at home after the CL games
Icelander83
You were not meant to see and quote that ffs! I realised that as soon as I hit the bloody post button but it took too long to delete I read it as sarcastic, then couldn't make sense of that and assumed you were bonkers. Icelander83
Looks like it was designed to laugh at Icelanders posts Hah, as if we need more posters doing that! A spambot like that will post 'regular' posts for a while, then when it's built up a decent post count it will start including links.

Sheps.
Just had a look on the transfer gossip page on manutd.com, who compile a list of all the players we are linked with. We're up to 21 so far, with just 1 of them (Kagawa) a done deal. Can't remember how high the number reached last summer, but I think it might have been well over a hundred. It also keeps a list of all the players linked with a move away from Utd, all of them say the players name followed by the club they're linked to and whether it's a loan or transfer, e.g. Fabio (QPR, loan). However, next to Bebe it just says 'Bebe (loan)', no ones interested
Pangaea
Not the easiest run of fixtures at the end with Arsenal, Chelsea and City there. That's what caught my eye as well. Arsenal and a rejuvinated Chelsea back-to-back will be tough, with hopefully some CL action thereabouts too. Like last season we need to practically hit the ground running, with Liverpool, Spurs, Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal in the space of 6 weeks in late Sept to early Nov. Tough period. Excellent opening post

14AlanSmithifb
Yeah, only just seen the fixtures and as people have already said thats quite a tough set of fixtures towards the end of the season, that being said Everton away is hardly the start I would've wanted either to be honest.
