heavy strenght training + individual focus on strenght

does it work? or is it pointless to focus on something which already is in yer heaviest training group? Should you use it at all time?(focus)

Or how about doing quickness training on some ageing player in hopes to keep that stat longer in high regions?

training levels via schedules have certain levels that either maintain the stat or improve it (if left completely off then of course the stat would drop substantially) usually about 8/10 clicks on a certain regime will keep the level constant, anything above will start to improve the appropriate stats the regime covers...

Individual focus (as you can see on the training levels) focuses more % of the 100% training percentage each player has so it will/should increase if focused on, however, it depends on the players age and CA/PA etc...

On the quickness part, it would be a waste of time, the player has reached his PA and PA is used for the development of stats, the first thing to drop for older players is their physical stats so focusing on that is futile, however, older players mental stats increase dramatically as a result of this and that is when you can take advantage and focus the training on mental stats rather to get a much better result or just tone down the strength and aerobic for this player (make the player their own schedule) and increase attacking/tactics while keeping strength and aerobic on the threshold mentioned above
