Who the heck keeps changing my national pool?

Simple enough problem:

I'm the manager of a national team. Before my first match I cleared out the national pool and chose a new set of players. I played the match. After a month, before my next game, I wanted to select the national squad but the national pool was completely changed (players removed/players added).

Why does this happen and how can I stop it ? I never went on holiday during this period so there's no chance an assistant got to pick the pool instead of me during this time.

I think players get added if they're called up to the youth sides, (under 21's, 19's, etc), but I'm not sure why players would be removed, or players no longer eligible added to the list without you doing so.

:Bump:

I really need to solve this. I can't spend 20 mins before every national match to set-up a new player pool. It's ruining the whole FM international experience.

Is there a manager option ("Team Policy") giving an Assistant this duty/ability?
