kris0710
Well done on a great cup victory. Cheers Congratulations! Time to show Europe what Burnley can (hopefully) do. kris0710
Season 2021/22 Premier League End of Season Results: Table: Certainly have to be happy with the season on the whole. 11th in the Premier League is the best finish by Burnley since the 2014/15 season where they finished 9th. A first League Cup win also gives us Europe next season. There will be a re-vamp of the squad as first team squad players such as Henderson, Scott Dann, Aleksander Kolarov, Cheick Tiote Jesse Lingard are out of contract. I will be looking for a centre back, full back, left winger and centre midfielder. The choice i have to make is whether to continue wilth a small squad as i have done so far or spend more cash and wages to ensure we are ready for our Europa League adventure. kris0710
Season 2022/23 Premier League End of October Results: Table: Some crazy results in there and overall a disappointing start to the new season. Could not have been worse after 3 games then an amazing game at Watford! Should have beaten Birmingham after being two up and only beaten by Liverpool late on. League Cup: Despite being the holders i have rested players in the two games and it nearly cost us against Newport. A home tie with League rivals Newcastle is up next. Again big clubs left in the cup with Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea in the last 8.

kris0710
I think crazy is an understatement . kris0710
2022/23 Premier League November Results: Table: Not a great month bu fought back from 2-0 down against Chelsea but conceded late on against Norwich to deny us a needed three points. Europe: Through to the KO stage with a game to go. The chance to knock Dortmund out in the final game.

kris0710
2022/23 Premier League December Results: Table: Two good wins should have been three but blew a 2-0 lead at Blackpool. Although lower ah hoped we are more solid now ans hope for a rise up the table. League Cup: The holders ease past Newcastle (ok thats a lie, we were 2-0 down at the break) to set up a semi final agaisnt Liverpool. The other semi final is Man Utd v Chelsea
kris0710
Euro Cup: Brilliant season in Europe, better than could have imagined. kris0710
Great work qualifying from your group and another good run in the League Cup. Just a shame the league form is not the same. When the groups were drawn i thought second behind Dortmund was on! Doubt you'll last long at Burnley either at this rate you're getting links and offers. Since the last 14 months the only Prem job i have not been linked with in any way was the Man Utd job. Happy where i am so not looking to go
kris0710
2022/23 Premier League January Results: Table: Not the worst of months really. Good wins vs Watford and Wigan while delighted with 3-3 at Man City. Newcastle ran us close in Lge Cup in December so knew the away game would be tough. Next month brings just two league games, both at home. FA Cup: Two nice wins at home see us into Round 5 also at home to Newcastle. This month has seen two players leave the club, including summer signing from Everton Aykurt Seyfettin. Signed in July for £4.5m we sold him to Birmingham for £5.75m. The 24 year old has played for 5 clubs plus another 4 on loan! Coming into the first team squad in January are: Eamonn Gallagher: Signed from former club Hamilton for £1.9m the 25 year old left winger will play back up to Scott Sinclair. His former clubs include Lurgan Celtic and Dungannon in N.Ireland and Morton is the SD1. He has has 18 months in the SPL with St. Mirren and Hamilton playing 21 times. Has 10 caps for N.Ireland Oswald Gauthier: The 25 year old joins from Spurs for £4.1m. Brought in to challenge my three other forwards he has made a good start with 5 goals in just 4 Prem games. Left Auxerre for Spurs at the end of his contract in 2017 he has had 5 different loan spells with teams like Zenit and Hibs while a season in the Prem with Blackpool. A career has brought 66 goals in 143 league games. One cap and one goal for France.
kris0710
League Cup: Our grip on the League Cup has gone with two defeats to Liverpool. The 4-2 result flattered us to be honest and in the second we were never in it while Liverpool missed a pen too. Man Utd await Liverpool after seeing off Chelsea 5-2 on agg. Was offered the Villa job in the summer and rejected it and now Paul Jewell has been sacked i am linked again.
kris0710
2022/23 Premier League February Results: Table: 100% record from those games and March brings just three league games for us. Our next fixtures include Man Utd, Spurs and Sunderland along with Chelsea and Man Utd to start April. FA Cup: For the second time this season we knock Newcastle out of a cup. Tottenham at home is our quarter final reward.

kris0710
2022/23 Premier League March Results: Table: Two big defeats to the top two but a nice win inbetween that. kris0710
Euro Cup: Played well in the home leg but conceded late on. Away from home a goal up before malaga scored in the 81st minute again. Extra time saw the Spanish side lead before i made a triple change. Out third scorer was a left back i brought on to play right midfield. Genius. The next round sees us face Sporting who won the Group B knocking Bolton into second before seeing off two French side, Lille and Bordeaux. Will be putting all our eggs into this quater final which features 5 Italian sides.
kris0710
2022/23 Premier League End of Season Results: Table: Decent end to the season gives us a second 11th place finish in a row and a better points tally than last year. Defence needs looking at as we concede too many. Good win over Champions Man Utd and a decent draw with Arsenal in there too. Euro Cup: Well our adventure comes to an end at the quarter final stage. A good run all in all in what has been a good year for us. Really needed an away goal in the first leg but it just didnt click for us. Well thats our season over and i would like to think it has been a success. Prem - 11th FAC - QF Lge Cup - SF Euro Cup - QF. Since the Euro Cup defeat had my scouts running around the world checking out the best of defensive talents and a new left winger. Very happy with our strike force so don't expect much in the way of attacking singings.
