Man of the Match: André Holmström (Sunderland) Attendance: 14,636 Another cracking month for us, hope it’s the way things will continue to be for the rest of the season, the biggest disappointment this month was Agus getting injured he’s out for 6 days, so its not so bad but he will miss a few games, already he has equalled his goal scoring tally in 8 games with the games v Preston I managed to win also the game v Reading, which also got the reading boss the sack. And a ten point lead over fourth, this is it we now just need to get a good run, and finish off the promotion, if I’m still top at the end of March I’m going to start planning for next season in league two, begin replacing the staff. Man of the Match: Chris Freeman (Exeter) Attendance: 7,104 A hit and miss month for us as we only picked up 5 points at lease we managed to get the first win on the board, we don’t seem to good when we play with a 4-4-2 formation so far I’m considering a permanent switch to 4-1-2-3 for now, the midfield seems decent enough the defence is killing me the keeper in particular Le Garrec has been shocking so far, I cant believe how unlucky we were against Cheltenham it was own goal central I was pleased with our performance against sheff united who are favourites for the title, we need to pick our performances up of the next few games or we will be suck at the bottom flirting with relegation. A brace from Mitch Ryan helped Doncaster to victory. Things did not get off to a good start for Doncaster Rovers as striker Tony Agus seized on an error by Simon Kelly to score a weak close range effort. Striker Mitch Ryan then equalised for Doncaster Rovers in the 21st minute with a deftly executed finish. Ryan was able to keep his composure to score from the spot after Villareal gave away a penalty. Things went from bad to worse for Sunderland as full-back Boy Villareal earned himself an early bath for persistent fouling on 59 minutes. Sunderland also saw their 69th minute strike questionably chalked off. Forsyth scored with a deftly executed finish in the 76th minute to extend the lead further. Man of the Match: Kieran Hussey (Morecambe) Attendance: 6,384 So a good month for me if I say so, we only lost to the sides in 1st, 3rd and 5th so im happy with that, my aim maintains to stay in the division even with two major setbacks as Agus bows out for 5 weeks with broken ribs (3 remaining) and also a injury to McCready means he missed a couple of games too.
