Another cracking month for us, hope it’s the way things will continue to be for the rest of the season, the biggest disappointment this month was Agus getting injured he’s out for 6 days, so its not so bad but he will miss a few games, already he has equalled his goal scoring tally in 8 games with the games v Preston I managed to win also the game v Reading, which also got the reading boss the sack. Next month will be a tough game with a couple of games against the other sides pushing for the top, but our 4 point lead and also a game against AFC Wimbledon it will be a tough month but we have a good start

Another month goes by and remain unbeaten at the top of League two, the unbeaten streak in the league has to come to an end, we went out in the paint trophy to a side pushing for promotion to the Championship so im not majorly down about that, the league is the main priority as we should not be in the division and I want to spend only a single season here, already have a 7 point gap over the play-offs. But Crewe are pushing me hard for top spot but next month will be the decider as we play them come Christmas will be the critical point for us as I feel that will tell me if I have a chance of winning the league and not in october

It was another good month, 5 points from 9 is a decent return, I would have liked to have got more points in the top of the table clash with Crewe and I deserved more from the game with York I don’t know how it finished two all, still unbeaten so far this season is good enough though I suppose, still happy with Agus’s return of 14 goals in 15 games for me so far this season he’s second in the scoring charts behind a crewe striker who I turned down because he offered nothing but pace. Still don’t regret it other than crewe would have lost their top scorer.

And a ten point lead over fourth, this is it we now just need to get a good run, and finish off the promotion, if I’m still top at the end of March I’m going to start planning for next season in league two, begin replacing the staff. The worst part wasn’t losing to Preston is was our top scorer Agus getting injured he’s torn his groin which won’t help his goal tally which currently stands at 24 goals

An awesome month for me as we took a major step towards promotion with the past month my aim is to break the 105 point mark we got under Reid, and with 6 games left I can do it providing I drop no more points, its going to be a struggle after Agus tore his groin muscle and will be out for the remainder of the season, but he looks like he will finish top scorer, with the 30 league goals but the considering there is only one league game in may there will be one update for the rest of the season next.

A hit and miss month for us as we only picked up 5 points at lease we managed to get the first win on the board, we don’t seem to good when we play with a 4-4-2 formation so far I’m considering a permanent switch to 4-1-2-3 for now, the midfield seems decent enough the defence is killing me the keeper in particular Le Garrec has been shocking so far, I cant believe how unlucky we were against Cheltenham it was own goal central I was pleased with our performance against sheff united who are favourites for the title, we need to pick our performances up of the next few games or we will be suck at the bottom flirting with relegation.

So a good month for me if I say so, we only lost to the sides in 1st, 3rd and 5th so im happy with that, my aim maintains to stay in the division even with two major setbacks as Agus bows out for 5 weeks with broken ribs (3 remaining) and also a injury to McCready means he missed a couple of games too. On the goalkeeping front it’s a major difference, Le Garrec conceded 11 goals in 5 league games and his replacement 17 year old Porter has also conceded 11 goals but in twice as many games, I think as he’s rated at 4.5 star I think ill stick by him this season as my new number one as its going well

Another good month, 2 wins, a draw and a defeat in the league is enough to keep me on the outskirts of the play-offs. We didn’t have one stand out goalscoring player this month so the goals were spread out over the team which was a relief as Agus didn’t really perform like he can this month, we need to get the team scoring and Agus ploughing them in like I know he can, Porter again shows his worth and keeps hold of the number one jersey.

Well bar the disappointing result against my old club Sheff Wed, we had a solid month and managed to get ourselves in the play-off frame, I’m still not expecting to get promoted and any runs I go on now will do me to keep me in the top half the division so I can improve the squad for a actual crack at promotion, not sure what I would need we can score, the midfield is decent enough and so is the defence for this level some luck and a player or two I feel we can get the title, anyway back to the task in hand Agus got back scoring with his 11th and 12th goals of the season, with McCready closing in on him quickly

All thanks to the rock between the sticks that is Matty Porter he averaged 6.79 in the 25 league games hes played and is hopefully the first of a few major players coming from my youth system as I have a few players I want to throw in next season. At the other end of the pitch Agus is still scoring but has been overtaken by the former Exeter striker Joe McCready who got his 13th of the campaign against his former club, wish me luck for next month as by the end of March ill know what the end of season will hold

A great month

Again for me and I’m quietly confident not only of us going up but as champions, especially when my last 6 games are against sides in the bottom half of the table, The fact two of my strikers have over 15 goals, each proves we are more than capable of putting the ball into the back of the net, and with Porter between the sticks we are surprisingly tight at the back, also happy with the comebacks as twice alone this month we have come from two goals down to steal wins and I think I’ve managed to get the hang of team talks evidently! If I’m promoted I’m honestly not sure which signings id need as I haven’t thought that far ahead
