End of Season 2021/22

Players

Nick Adam - It's an awful season for Nick who made just 1(4) games all season for Marseille and scored just 1 goal. He scored 5 in 9 for Australia, is now on 100 caps and will be heading to the World Cup. Marseille finished 7th and were French Cup runners up.

Bakra - A pretty good season for Bakra, although a lot of his games game from the bench. 12(27) games this season with 19 goals scored. He played 5(2) for Holland with 4 goals, and will miss the World Cup groups because of a hernia. Feyenoord finished 6th in the league.

Jimmio Bowmanaggio - Jimmio played ok considering he had a bad injury early in the season. He played 13(2) games for Porto and scored 11 goals. Porto finished 2nd in the league and they were Portuguese Cup runners up. Unfortunately Jimmio won't be at the World Cup with Italy.

Rocky Brittus - Rocky played ok this season but ended up with 9 weeks of injuries towards the end. He played 17 games overall and scored 7 games and he has been picked for the Holland World Cup squad. Vitesse finished 7th in the league.

Chopper - Not a great season, but better than the last one. He played 21(15) games for Shakhtar and scored 11 goals. Chopper scored 3 goals in 5(1) games for Chile too. Shakhtar ended up winning the league this season. He is happy to stay at the club.

Matthew Cooper - Matthew had a varied season, spending more time on the bench, but still given quite a few first team starts. He played 11(16) games for Arsenal and scored 10 goals. He has been picked for the England World Cup squad. Arsenal won the league.

Josh Crane - Josh can probably be happy with his season, but might want more games in future. He played 12(9) games for Inter and scored 13 goals. He needs just 3 goals to reach 200 career goals. Inter had a pretty poor season, finishing in 11th.

Whoopski Deeski - Not the best of season, but he did spend 14 weeks out with various injuries. He played 21(2) games for Spartak and he scored 13 goals. For some reason i got rid of the Russian league, but i can see Spartak didn't finish top 3. It'll be back soon.

Edmond Doustourian - A better season for Edmond who played 28(2) games for Dnipro and he got himself 19 goals. He also scored 4 in 5 for Armenia. Dnipro finished 3rd in the league again. Edmond has signed a new 4 year contract with the club.

Simone Finke - A great season for Simone who is now over 100 career goals and off the bottom. He scored 27 goals for Bremen in 43(1) games and now has 3 goals for Italy and is heading to his first World Cup. Bremen finished 4th in the league.

Ben Goldsmith - Another good season for Ben who scored 22 goals in 33(2) games for Sampdoria and has been picked for the England World Cup squad. His 20 league goals helped Sampdoria win Serie A and they were also Europa League runners up.

Alejandro Hernandez - Not a great season for Alejandro but it's not looking like he's moving any time soon. He played 20(9) games for Xerez and scored 12 goals. Xerez found themselves going straight back up to La Liga, having won Liga Adelante with ease.

Arie Kanarie - A pretty good season for Arie, who scored 16 goals for Arsenal in 24(4) games. He also scored 7 in 8 for Holland and will hope to impress at the World Cup. He is enjoying playing for the club and Arsena won the league.

Igor Kesina - A fairly good season for Igor, scoring 16 goals in 34(2) for Lille and scoring 3 goals in 6 games for Croatia. Igor is happy playing for the club. Lille had a pretty poor season, finishing in 8th place and were poor in both cups.

David Le Soire - David had another great season for Zurich, playing 45 games and scoring 36 goals. He scored 3 in 7(1) for France too and will be at the World Cup. He needs 27 goals next season to reach 300 league goals for Zurich. Zurich were poor, finishing 5th.

Aidan LFC - Aidan played 24(4) games for Bolton and scored 10 goals, he missed the last 6 weeks of the season though with a torn calf and will be out for up to another 2 months. Bolton finished 12th in the Premier League.

Long Tym Toon Jr. - Another poor season at Real Sociedad, scoring just 3 goals in 2(14) games. He scored 11 in 11(1) for South Korea though and will be at the World Cup. Real Sociedad finished 11th in the league. He is still not needed by the club, but isn't transfer listed.

Jason McIllmurray Jr. - A couple of injuries keeping him out for nearly 4 month this season. However he still got 21(1) games for Dortmund and scored 11 goals. Dortmund finished 7th in the league and won the German cup on penalties. Jason scored the Dortmund goal during the 90 minutes.

Silvio Mella - Not a great season for Silvio and he is unhappy at the club and is wanting to leave. He played 26(7) games for PSG and scored 11 goals. He also got 7 in 8 for Malta. PSG did well in the league, finishing in 3rd place.

Des Morgan - He needed to leave the club before, but really needs to leave now as he played just 5(3) games and scored just 2 goals, leaving him bottom of the pile. He scored 6 in 6(3) for Jamaica this season. Genoa finished 5th in Serie A.

Jamie O'Connor - Jamie can be a bit more pleased than usual as he played 16(14) games for Spurs and scored 12 goals. He needs to leave the club if he wants more first team football though. Spurs finished 6th in the Premier League.

Kwesi Owusu - Another good season for Kwesi at Chelsea, scoring 26 goals for the club in 38(7) games. He also scored 5 in 5(2) for Nigeria. Just 2 more goals until he reaches 200 career goals. Chelsea finished 4th in the league and were FA Cup runners up.

Quique Sanchez-Tredwell - A great season for Quique who scored 29 goals in 45(5) games for Atlas and got 9 in 10 for Jamaica. He is now over 300 career goals. A good season for Atlas, winning the Closing Stage and winning the North American Champions League.

Aleksander Radakovic - A good season for the Serb, scoring 22 goals in 38(1) games for Lazio. Unfortunately his 20 league goals couldn't get him the top scorer award again. Lazio finished 15th in the league and were Italian Cup runners up. He is considering his options.

Bjorgvin Radebe Jr. - A pretty good season for Bjorgvin who played 28(3) games for Stoke this season and scored 15 goals. He still needs 31 goals until he reaches 200 career goals. Stoke had an amazing season, finishing 2nd in the Premier League.

Mathew Schneider - A very good season for Matthew, scoring 27 goals in 43(1) games, scoring more goals than Tom Skull for the first time in a while. He scored 5 in 5 for Israel this season too. Valencia finished 4th in the league, won the Super Cup and 2 goals from Matthew won them the Spanish Cup.

Stuart Shaw - Not his best season, but still not bad. He scored 20 goals for Everton in 42 games, as well as getting 6 in 8 for Scotland. Everton finished 10th in the league and they lost in the League Cup final on penalties.

Murt Shepard - Murt had a fairly good season, scoring 22 goals in 36 games for Bordeaux and he got 8 in 6 for Ireland. Murt is wanted by Man Utd, but has just signed a new 5 year contract. Bordeaux finished 10th in the league.

Cristian Sirera - A better season for Cristian, but could still do better. He got 15 goals in 21(12) games for Palermo this season and 3 in 6(1) for Spain. He is currently out for up to 4 weeks. Palermo finished 2nd in Serie A.

Tom Skull - Tom had his worst season yet in goals scored, but it was still pretty good overall. 24 goals in 43(1) games for Valencia and 9 in 9 for England. He is now over 300 career goals. Valencia finished 4th, won the Super Cup and Spanish Cup.

Mario Spehar - Mario played 23(3) games for Inter this season and scored 12 goals. He also got 6 in 7(1) for Croatia and is now over 200 career goals. Inter had a pretty poor season, finishing in 11th place in the league.

Jordan Swinburn - A good season again from Jordan, scoring 24 goals in 37(2) games for Napoli. Unfortunately he hasn't played any more for Italy and won't feature at the World Cup. Napoli finished 4th in the league.

The Mad Scot - Another good season for The Mad Scot who has yet to score under 20 goals in a season since his first. He got 27 this season from 46 games for Celtic. He has also signed a new 5 year contract. Celtic won the league, but nothing else.

Thomas Weir - Thomas played 41(4) games for Chelsea, but could only find the net on 19 ocassions. He played 7(1) for Scotland too and got 5 goals. He needs 3 goals to reach 300 career goals. Chelsea finished 4th in the league and were FA Cup runners up.

White Widow - White Widow played 31(2) games for Lorient this season and got himself 21 goals. He also got 10 goals in 6 games for Bahamas and needs 8 more games to reach 100 caps. Lorient finished 9th in the league and were Coupe de la Ligue runners up.

Edmond Doustourian - A better season for Edmond who played 28(2) games for Dnipro and he got himself 19 goals. He also scored 4 in 5 for Armenia. Dnipro finished 3rd in the league again. Edmond has signed a new 4 year contract with the club.

Decent season there. Though it's not going to help push him far up the table. Charlesbeams have Armenia got anywhere near qualifying for an international tournament?

What about some appearances based awards as well?

Another mediocre season for Spehar. Inter need to get their act together, because with Spehar's price tag I don't think I can expect a transfer any time soon.

A very unlikely winner.

David Le Soire was given the Golden Boot and was also named in the starting line up for the Dream Team.

And i was wrong about that transfer :(

A couple of injuries to mention and a few other things.

Aidan LFC - Recovering from a pulled hamstring, will be back in a week.

Jordan Swinburn - Spent the last 3 weeks out with a twisted ankle and will return in a day.

Thomas Weir - Has a lower back stress fracture and will spend 6-7 weeks out.

White Widow - Has a damaged achilles tendon and will miss 2 months of football.

Chopper and Des Morgan's contracts will run out at the end of the year.

Man Utd are interested in Stuart Shaw

David Le Soire was last years top scorer with 42.

Sorry i am in australia atm, so dont get to comment much, but great updates and I am raging that widow is injured, keep up the good work!

No problem. Hopefully Le Soire or Shaw don't catch up eh, although i think you'd need a whole season out injured for that to happen.

Forgot to reply to this. Armenia have only ever finished 5th in the World Cup Qualifying groups and 4th in the Euro Qualifying groups. They are currently 3rd(of 5) in their group for Euro 2024 Qualifying, but only 2 games played.

Update will be later than i said.

February 2023

Players

Nick Adam - It's not looking good still for Nick who has played just 1(6) games this season for Marseille and has just 1 goal. He has asked to be transfer listed and it has been accepted. Hopefully he can move soon.

Jimmio Bowmanaggio - Not going too well for the Italian so far, with just 10(7) games played for Porto and 6 goals scored. He has 3 goals in the last 1(2) games for Italy too. 19 more goals until 250 career goals.

Rocky Brittus - Not looking good for Rocky either, he has played just 8(6) games for Vitesse and has scored 4 goals. He is unhappy and has made it public that he wants to leave for a bigger club.

Chopper - Chopper has been playing quite well so far for Shakhtar. He's scored 12 goals this season in 18(3) games. He hasn't signed a new contract yet, but hasn't decided he'll leave on a free at the end of the season either.

Matthew Cooper - Matthew is still being used a rotation player with 10(9) games being played for Arsenal so far with 9 goals scored. He has made 1 sub appearance for England without a goal. He is happy to stay at the club.

Igor Kesina - Igor is having a fairly good season and is almost at the same goals as last season. He's got 12 so far in 17(3) for Lille, however he is unhappy at the club and wants to leave.

Des Morgan - Des is right to want to leave and he will finally get that chance at the end of the season. He's in the reserves and has no goals this season for the club. However he has 17 in the last 11(2) for Jamaica.

Jamie O'Connor - It's still close at the bottom and it could well be Jamie at the bottom if he doesn't get a move like Des Morgan will. Jamie has 6 goals in 7(7) for Spurs and 3 in 4(1) for Ireland.

Kwesi Owusu - Kwesi is playing well for Chelsea so far, scoring 13 goals in 23(2) games. He has 6 in the last 6(2) for Nigeria, who are currently in the African Nations quarter finals. He is now over 200 career goals.

Stuart Shaw - It's a poor season for Stuart so far who has only scored 9 goals in 25 games so far for Everton, all in the league. He is enjoying playing for the club though and is now over 350 career goals.

Murt Shepard - Murt has played 21 games for Bordeaux so far this season and has scored 11 goals. However he is unhappy and wants to leave for a bigger club. He's scored 5 in 6 recent games for Malta.

Tom Skull - Tom is playing well for Valencia just like Schneider. He also has 17 goals for the club in 26(3) games, will he end under 30 for a 3rd season?. He needs 21 goals for 350 career goals.

I'm going to be looking at the non-posters again later ;) don't worry though it's only about 4 or 5 people still.

I know some people can't get to a PC as much and some havn't been back to the forums for a while. But for those people that are posting elsewhere on the forums, surely it only takes a few minutes at max to post something. I wonder why some people sign up to these.

Not looking good for Spehar :(

Do you know if the lack of games is due to injuries, or is it just a change in direction from the Inter management?

Mario only spent 4 weeks out at the very start of the season. As for managers, they hired Laurent Blanc in March and he has been sacked and a Alfredo Aglietti took over in Decemeber. Hopefully it's him who has been playing you, then you'll get more games by the end of the season.

Just had a quick look and it seems as though he's been playing you more often than Blanc was.

Holidaying done, still aiming for before midnight, latest. It's amazing how 5 less people has made me want to write more updates.

Little thing about some other cups first, like the African Nations. Nigeria lost in the quarter finals, better luck next year.

Jamaica won the latest Caribbean Championships, with Quique Sanchez-Tredwell scoring 1 of the 3 goals. Des Morgan was on the bench. Jamaica will also take part in the Gold Cup, in a few weeks time.

Long Tym Toon Jr. will be playing for South Korea in the Asian Cup, starting in a few weeks. Unfortunately Nick Adam wasn't picked for Australia.
