International Retirement Date

Now this may seem a stupid question but within the editor when looking at all playing and non-playing staff there is a section called International Retirement Date, my question is (and as i said, may sound stupid) will this set the retirement date for managers or just the date that players retire from international football? I'm trying to get Capello to retire after Euro 2012 and don't want to go through an entire season only to find out that the above mentioned section is the wrong place to try and edit retirement.
