Keeping Up Appearances - Update 1st Jan 2012

I did not bother with an initial 'update' as nobody was at a club. However, I will update each season at 1/1 and 1/6, as well as any relevant international finals. I will also load leagues as needed to prevent 'unseen' matches as much as I can.

Arie Kanarie - Arie was snapped up by Brazilian side Santos. He has performed fairly well so far, including 2 appearences for his country, Guinea. Santos got to the final of the Club World Cup, but were beaten on penalties by Barca.

Coop Cooper - Cooper has joined Qatari side Al-Ghafarra. He has yet to appear for Canada.

Craig Dolling - Dolling, signing for Bosnian side Zeljeznicar, is performing solidly. He has appeared twice for Montenegro, who have managed to qualify for the 2012 European Championships!

David Ginsberg - David has not yet been signed, but, thanks to the fact he has played for Israel's U21 side, he will surely soon be snapped up?

Desmond Tiny - Romanian team FCM Tg. Mures were the club to secure Desmond's signature. He has performed solidly for both club and his country's youth side.

Gomes Gomez - Nobody has taken up on the chance to sign Gomez yet, though he is attracting interest.

Jim Bowman - Another one who has not yet been signed, Bowman is nontheless ready for club football, as his cap for Mali shows.

Jake Cubby Another Qatar based club, Al-Sadd signed Cubby, who is already Bermuda's regular keeper. His skills weren't enough to help Bermuda get anywhere near the World Cup, however.

James Sawyer Sawyer is playing top flight football as part of Rostov in Russia's Premier League. Rostov, however, are struggling at the bottom, despite Sawyer's skills.

Luis Pisani Signing for Eibar, Luis Pisani is perhaps not performing as well as as he could.

Loss Wei No Russian First Division club Shinnik gave the North Korean his first chance. He has generally played well, both for club and country. North Korea qualified for the East Asian Championship.

Nick Adam Playing in the Swiss Super League at Thun faces Nick Adam. He has started well, if not too brilliantly.

Owen McCarthy Lusanne picked up Canadian number 1 McCarthy, who is keeping Cooper Cooper out of the national side.

Richard BucketNo-one has yet shown an interest in poor Richard, despite his caps for Northern Ireland.

Xander Onorio Xander is another to sign for a Qatari club. He has yet to appear for Kiribati, but has 6 U21 caps.

Nice start Lenzar! Any info on how Guinea is doing in the African Nations/WC qualification? Edit: Or are those already set at the start of a game, can't remember.

It's odd that some of the youngsters A) haven't been picked up by any club and B) how some haven't earned their first cap yet, instead having to play in <21 sides

Update 3rd Jun 2012

North Korean goalkeeper Loss Wei No has continued to be a part of Russian club Shinnik, averaging 6.92 in 19 league games. Shinnik had an average season, finishing 6th in the Russian First Division's Championship Playoff. North Korea have had a terrible first half of 2012, losing all three games in the East Asian Championship, and a further loss to Turkmenistan in the World Cup Qualification. Despite this, they have proceeded to Final Group B.

Coop Cooper has yet to be called up by any of the nations he is eligible for, but has stated he'd only consider a Canadian callup at this stage. He has made 12 appearences for Al-Gharrafa, averaging 6.99

Playing for Santos, Arie Kanarie has so far made 23 starts this year, managing an average of 6.95. He has so far earned 3 caps for his country, Guinea. Guinea are currently in Group 6 of the African World Cup Qualifiers, and will soon face Uganda in the First Round of African Nations qualification.

Another African, Jim Bowman, is one of the stars of Saudi side Al-Alhi, averaging 7.34 in 9 league games. He has 6 Mali caps, including 3 in the 2012 African Nations, where Mali finished bottom of group A, losing all three games.

Craig Dolling is preparing for Montenegro's Euro 2012 campaign. 35 league starts for Zeljeznicar, averaging an excellent 7.40, shows he will be one of the fledgling country's best players.

Markovsky Roel Pei managed 5 starts for Dinamo Minsk, averaging 6.82. He has 2 caps for Belarus so far, but is likely to add more due to his status as the country's number one.

Playing in the Spanish Second Division B2 for Eibar, Luis Pisani played 26 games, averaging 6.87. He has fared little better for Venezuela, letting in 6 against Paraguay.

In the Romanian league, at FCM Tg. Mures, Desmond Tiny made 25 starts, securing a rating of 6.75. Brunei have played few games, but Tiny has not even been in the latest squad, deemed well behind the existing players.

Another who has yet to be picked by his senior national side, David Ginsberg, is plying his trade for Nes Ziona in his home country Israel. Managing 6.79 over 9 games, the Israeli looks unlikely to set the world alight.

Canadian Owen McCarthy has so far appeared 4 times for Canada, whilst averaging 6.90 in 22 for Swiss Super League side Lusanne.

Next, we go back to Qatar, this time to Al-Sadd, where Jake Cubby has managed a fine 7.24 over 12 games. He has so far achieved 6 caps for Bermuda, whose only games in 2012 will come in the Carribean Championship.

Playing in Switzerland, Andorran keeper Nick Adam is Thun's first choice. Starting 21 games and averaging 6.73, Adam hopes to eventually keep a clean sheet for one of the smallest national sides in Europe.

Richard Bucket has started only 14 of Aberdeen's SPL games in 2011-12. The Dons finished 8th in the league, whilst Bucket flits between the senior and U21 Northern Ireland sides.

Gomes Gomez featured in Paraguay's 6-2 thrashing of Venezuela, whilst playing in the American lower leagues for Montreal Impact. 8 starts at 6.91 have shown he can cut it at this level.

James Sawyer is possibly our most successful keeper, being chased by Italian giants AC Milan. He is listed by request at Rostov, where he achieved 6.73 in 16. Rostov finished rock bottom of the RPL. Despite being chased by Milan, James has not made a senior appearence for any national side.

Qatar SC's Xander Onorio has so far 6.84 in 7 appearances, whilst yet to make a breakthrough internationally.
