  1. 1. How do you plan FM12?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I know that this have been discussed quite a few times before, however I am still curious to see how the majority of people are playing FM12. So the golden question is do you play it Windowed or Full Screen? and if you want to engage in a discussion, why do you choose to play it that way?

I always play windowed mode, only downside this year is the 3D is a bit jerky for me in windowed mode, but it's handy to be able to load up Firefox in between games without having to Alt/Tab everytime.

I basically play in windowed mode because i multitask.

With a dual monitor setup it's much easier windowed, running the game on one monitor.

Yep, same here. I always do other things while playing FM12. One eye on the game and one on whatever else I have to get on with.

It's ain the 'preference' options JSD!

I always played full screen & still much prefer that format to Windowed. However whilst I used to be able to get into Windows (from the game) by pressing the Windows button, suddenly (a couple of weeks ago) I can't; so I am pretty mutch stuck in Windowed mode if I want to multitask.

Love them to fix this so I can get back on full screen.

I have a habit of pressing CMD+TAB on my Mac after continuing in my save, so I just keep it windowed.

How do you make it windowed?

"FM" drop down

preferences

display & sound

display mode >change to windowed

or you can do it from the opening screen preferences

Full, but due to a bug this year I'm having to play in a window.

And it crashes a lot in a window for me (screen just goes black).

Windowed.

For multitasking purposes but also because the font size is so damn small playing fullscreen is a royal PitA on anything bigger than a 17"...

We need a Borderless Windowed mode option.

I hate playing in Windowed because it makes my game smaller, but I am always alt-tabbing and it is very annoying to lose the game screen everytime I do.

Please give us a Borderless Windowed Option SI!

Yes and this option would remove that :)

So it is effectively Full Screen, without having the window minimize itself on alt-tabbing or clicking on second Monitor.
