SRL88
It's the year 2017, I've already made Bordeaux into the best club in France, 4 straight league titles and a Europa League title. Now I'm leaving for Spain... do I pick Sevilla or Espanyol? At that stage of the game it depends on how things have developed both on the field and off the field for both teams? Gene
At that stage of the game it depends on how things have developed both on the field and off the field for both teams? True. At this point Sevilla are still more prestigious than Espanyol. It's Jan, and Sevilla are languishing down in the relegation zone while Espanyol are round about 5th. Sevilla are offering 7 million in transfer funds (5 million in the bank), while Espanyol can only offer 500k (1 million in the red). I'm leaning towards Espanyol (I spent some time living just outside of Sevilla so I've played with them quite a bit in the past), or possibly just keeping on as the England manager and wait until Valencia possibly open up. Romanista1994
Nation:Any Division:Any European Competition: Any Media Prediction: Top Half - Challenge for continental qualification Board Expectation(s): Transfer Budget: Enough to bring in a few players to compliment the system Wage Budget:Same as above Finances:As long as it isnt crippling debt im not to fussed Currently trying to set up a very versatile fluid attacking system as seen here and want a team who would fit in well with that style of play. IM currently trialling it with Barca but they are strong enough to win games regardless of formation so looking for something a little more challenging. I thought Ajax but they are similar to Barca, big team in a small pond. Any ideas anyone? Other: Dunno if you're still looking for a team, but Roma fit most of your criteria except the transfer budget. You can get over that fairly easily though, by selling some of the higher-earning old players.

scott MUFC
if you want to, you could go down to the championship and try blackpool, you get like 30 million to spend on transfers (14.5 in november - spend that then spend januarys) you can get soem decent players for a few million, most top youth players (sanogo etc) will come and are of that standard. parsdaft1982
Clarky323, I recently went Queen of the south (if you have an updated db, they are in the Scottish 2nd division) stormed the league 1st season, after battling 2nd season got promoted to the SPL. they have a pretty good squad, Gavin Reilly is a great striker. Not much in the way of finances 1st season, but you can bring in a few good freebies, same 2nd season. I really enjoyed that game, but got offered the Dunfermline job 3rd season, and they are my favourite team, so took it! give it a try!
clubgaz
I am in 2019 with Auxerre, started with no money to spend (but no debt), slightly over wage budget and apart from Sanogo very few prospects. Now I have won the french ligue 5 times in a row, champions league 3 times in a row and we are now dominating the world game. Last season I won every trophy available, and we have done this on home grown talent... The issue is an error where my game is crashing alot, I ve become tired of it and I want a new challenge. I love managing in France cause it is such an even playing field, but dont want to again as I have for so long. Thinking Germany, Italy or maybe Holland. A club similar stature to Auxerre, low expectations, little history but not a small club. Any suggestions?? p.s. Can highly recommend Auxerre has a fun game, board happy to back youth set ups and pump any money you make back into the club.

jamesb123
Yes this is one hell of a bump, but I'm still on FM12, having not bought 13 and not liking the feel of 14. I don't know if people will even be able to remember FM12 Nation: Anywhere in Europe. Division: Top League, but not necessarily a top team. European Competition: Don't mind. Media Prediction: Don't mind. Board Expectation(s): Don't mind. Transfer Budget: For an initial budget I don't mind Wage Budget: Again, as an initial budget I don't mind. Finances: Good. Other: I want a career save, but I want to be able to sell on most of my initial squad for a good total sum. For instance, one of my best saves was with West Brom as I could sell on most of my squad for hefty fees and bring in a raft of new players immediately building my own team; hence why I am not too bothered about the initial budgets. I know it's an odd request, but with some teams you simply can't sell players for love nor money regardless of how good they actually are, whereas with West Brom there were multiple takers for pretty much every player.
