ejldude
Slightly different approach to others. This is one of my fave goals of all time. [video=youtube;4FUPiRCmokI] One thing that CR definately has over Messi; aerial prowess.
Kenco
So after raiding Arsenal with 3 of my 5 picks, my starting XI now looks as follows:Essendon FC Starting XI GK: Craig Gordon DL: Herita Ilunga (pick 4) DC: Joleon Lescott DC: Wes Brown (pick 3) DR: Emmanuel Eboue (pick 5) ML: Jack Wilshere MC: Alex Song (pick 2) MC: Jermaine Jones MR: Theo Walcott (pick 1) ST: Alberto Gilardino ST: Daniel Sturridge S1: Alex Baptiste S2: Craig Cathcart S3: Stephen Crainey S4: Jerome Thomas S5: Andy Reid So as you can see, I still have a very weak team (thanks again for the 4 Blackpool players GCB!), but after heavily strengthening my defence, I could do with another decent striker of winger in the Barcelona draft (or both in Messi!) That team isn't weak, not compared to mine at least. My defence has stars like Kevin Foley and George Elokobi, with O'Hara and Jarvis in midfield. I was hoping I would start in the Championship, as I might have a chance of scraping into the playoffs! I am desperate for a striker or winger from Barca as well! Messi, Villa, Pedro, Bojan will all be fine. Do not need a D RC (Puyol) because I signed two in my draft.

cookie15
Stratford Rangers are lining up with something like this: GK - Ben Foster DR - Seamus Coleman DL - Danny Collins DC - Thomas Vermaelan DC - Michael Dawson (Draft 2) MR - Adam Johnson (Draft 1) ML - David Silva MC - Ayew MC - Scott Parker ST - Jo (Draft 4) ST - Asamoah Gyan Subs - Michael Owen (Draft 3) Danny Welbeck Dedryck Boyata (Draft 5) Antolin Alvarez Clint Dempsey Could do with a decent MC (Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets) or of course a Messi/Villa from the Barcelona draft. Actually i wouldn't mind Casillas to be fair! Any thoughts people to my team, it isn't really what i was hoping for, certainly if we're competing in the Champions League!!!! 5ergio
FC Freljord has completed their 16 player preliminary squad for now, with Barcelona draft pending and a wonderkid central midfielder is set to join the club's youth ranks. Goalkeepers --- Defenders --- Pepe Reina Carlos Cuellar Lukasz Fabianski (3rd pick) Bastos Nemanja Vidic Midfielders --- Fabio Coloccini Tomas Kalas (4th pick) Karl Henry Lucho Gonzalez Strikers --- Gary Taylor-Fletcher Arjen Robben Edin Dzeko Vladimir Weiss (2nd pick) Kevin Doyle Jack Collison (5th pick) Javier Hernandez (1st pick) Dani Alves would be the perfect fit for us from Barca draft but I wouldn't say no to the likes of Messi or Xavi. Any young & promising player, especially striker or goalkeeper is fine as well.

Woodgate and Pienaar are here as back up if it goes the proverbial tits up. Knowing my luck ill get valdes in the barca draft which would mean a wasted draft pick in SMithies. Hopeing for another Midfielder for strength in depth. Im not to botherd about the manager draft as there are way more than 28 top quality managers out there, ill take my time on choosing that aspect. Although saying this i would be more swayed to a manager that uses a budget wisely due to my £20mil sponsorship money. All in all its looking nice and i was dreading starting in the Championship with my starting 11 in the fear of them all leaving! Congrats on this sign-up so far GCB! This must be a heck of a lot of work to put into this but as you have earlier, its going to be worth it. Keep up the good work P.S. - How flexible are the tactics? is it a set in stone 4-4-2? Greasy Chip Butty
Here is an example of a manager bid: 1. Warnock 10m 2. Rodgers 6m 3. Holloway 5m 4. Ferguson 10m 5. Ancelotti 7m etc ... Obviously, you need 10 managers ... Your first bid is the first one you've put there, e.g. 10m for Warnock. Now if nobody else bids more than 10m for Warnock, he'd be your manager. However, lets say that somebody has bid 12m for Warnock so you've failed. Now we move to the second bid. 6m for Brendan Rodgers. Again, if yours is the highest bid, you'd get him. If not, the third bid comes into play. And so on ... Whatever bid is accepted, that amount comes off your transfer budget and balance. So if you get Warnock for £10m, your balance goes down to £90m and your transfer budget is down to £40m. You need to select ten bids for managers because there are 28 teams bidding. You're realistically not going to get your first choice unless you bid a lot. So you need a list of ten bids that I can look through until you get a manager. I might even end up asking you for more if none of your ten bids are successful. @toonbalmy87: Yes, you read that right, I think/hope. TEN bids. Greasy Chip Butty
PLEASE CHECK THE DARFT LIST IN POST #565 - SOME PEOPLE DRAFTED PLAYERS THAT HAD ALREADY GONE! Chelsea Australia, Horden All Stars, Kuda Laut Gemilang and AFC Slough each have 2 picks left. Wootton Wanderers have 1 pick left. The deadline for these signings is MIDNIGHT (GMT) tonight. PLAYER TRADING: Please feel free to start trading players now. Use the thread or PM's to discuss deals with each other. Once a deal is agreed, BOTH TEAMS/USERS must post the deal in the thread. If it is not confirmed by both teams, I cannot accept it. The easiest way is for one person to post the deal and the other to quote it saying 'Confirmed' ... e.g. Sheffield United sell Nick Montgomery for £50m to Manchester United Confirmed. You can buy / sell a player for cash, you can swap players OR you can swap players and include some cash as well. BEST THING TO DO: Post a list of your players and indicate who you might be willing to trade. Also say what you would like to bring in.
