But I'd had a report from the ass man that the players were "having a hard time motivating themselves," both for a manager of my reputation, and for our captain (was captain when I got there. His influence was rated as 4) I changed captains before my last game, and promptly had 8 or 10 players listed as "thinks the manager was too quick to change captains." (and of course the deposed captain wasn't too happy about it) There's no way the team I inherited would have stayed up, but changing out the entire squad (er, except for the captain who was the only decent player when I got there) seemed to be too much.
