[FM11] Nobody defends in L.A.

The board was actually still "satisfied" with my performances, so I don't think I was going to be pushed. But I'd had a report from the ass man that the players were "having a hard time motivating themselves," both for a manager of my reputation, and for our captain (was captain when I got there. His influence was rated as 4)

I changed captains before my last game, and promptly had 8 or 10 players listed as "thinks the manager was too quick to change captains." (and of course the deposed captain wasn't too happy about it)

There's no way the team I inherited would have stayed up, but changing out the entire squad (er, except for the captain who was the only decent player when I got there) seemed to be too much. After 20 games it was still "are having a hard time blending into the squad."

July 15, 2014 - Duh, winning

A few months of unemployment followed after my departure from Italy. I turned down offers from Denmark, Italy, Portugal and Sweden and instead went further afield.

I've managed the African Warriors before in South Africa. It's a fun league to play in, especially if you can get into the top league and play for the Confederation Cup of African Champions League :)
