Lenzar
Sheriff wins player of the month James Sheriff has been the first FA Academy player to win an award, earning the League One player of the month award. His solid performances at the back are said to be a large part of why the English Football Association Select have not yet conceded any league goals. Suprisingly, no other players from the side featured in either the regular or youth award. Terry Venables was also awarded the manager of the month award. Lenzar
BREAKING NEWS: Bowman to leave FA Academy In an interview today, Terry Venables confirmed that Jim Bowman would be leaving the FA Academy. 'The rules of the club quite clearly state that a player must be eligible to play for England.' Venables began. 'Sadly, Jim Bowman has appeared in a full international for Scotland, rendering him unable to continue to play first team football with us.' Venables went on to state that Bowman would be sold as soon as possible, but would not pull on the number 31 shirt for the club again.

Lenzar
Seddon has yet to be rated below 7, superb. Remember that I am rounding as I hate FM11's '10.0 out of 10' rating system. Still, Seddon has been consistant at the back and teams up well with Reynolds in the middle. You two are looking good to replace Rio and JT.

Being over 30 he wasn't going to really figure for England so took the opportunity to play for Scotland, has he been sold yet? or is he just playing with himself in a dark room on matchdays? Lenzar
Citizens embarassed by plucky FA Academy Wembley was again the site of a cup giant killing tonight as Manchester City were defeated 3-0 by the FA Academy. It was only thanks to Joe Hart, arguably City's best player on the day, who kept the score down as the Three Lions dominated from start to finish. It wasn't until the 28th minute that the deadlock was broken, Darren Russell hitting a brilliant freekick from just outside the area. Alex Seddon followed up soon after with one of his trademark headers. Play then reverted to Hart making save after save, though James David was worked on several occasions himself, proving equal to City's attempts on goal. It looked like it was going to be 2-0 until Caleb Weah-Sebwe slotted home in the 87th minute. FA Academy 3 (Russell, Seddon, Weah-Sebwe) Manchester City 0 - League Cup 3rd round, att: 44,631 Team: 1 James David G 13 James Sheriff RB 30 Bradley Manning LB 5 Jamie Reynolds CB (Capt.) 6 Alex Seddon CB 16 Darren Russell CM 26 Andre Worth CM 7 Shaun Morrison RW 10 Ihsaan Ahmed LW 8 Caleb Weah-Sebwe ST 14 Andrea Stonini ST Subs: 15 Dillon Cathro (GK) 4 Thor Vanilla 12 Godfrey Brown 29 Matthew Cooper 23 Igor Kesina 17 Ahmed Ihsaan 18 Aiden Lfc Ratings David 7, Sheriff 8, Seddon 9, Reynolds 8, Manning 8, Russell 8 (Ihsaan), Worth 8, Morrison 7 (Kesina), Ahmed 8, Stonini 7, Weah-Sebwe 8 In the fourth round, FA Academy drew Birmingham at St. Andrews. Lenzar
I've hit a big of a snag in that the fecking Under 19s called up half the squad. This leaves me with only a few 'proper' Academy players and the newgens the game put in the U18s to make up the numbers - they are crap. Now I wish we had the 'ask for postponement' button from CM 01-02.
