kkas
I don't if its just me but it occurred to me today that I can't remember ever having to either send home or send to the physio a first team player because of illness. Its always reserve or youth team players that seem to pick up flu or food poisoning, never first teamers, can't remember one occasion.
Charlesbeams
It does happen to first team players, i've just had a 32 yr old get sent home with a cold Just doesn't seem to happen as much as it does to the kids
Martyr1777
It happens, but almost never. I've actually never had it happen during the season in my MLS saves, only during preseason.
PDAquinas
I've always sent them home (and yeah 99 times out of 100 it's kids) but i've always been intrigued. If you don't send them home do you ever get the whole club going down with plague?
HoreTore
My striker just got a virus and will be out for three weeks. Coincidences... And yeah, not sending them home increases the chance that other players catch the disease. Only had that happens once though, since then I've always sent everyone home. When your pre-season training is completely ruined because half your team is sick, you tend to learn your lesson... That it mostly happens to youngsters might have something to do with low physical stats. I assume that the likelyhood of catching a disease is greater for someone with, say, 4 in natural fitness(which your youth team is probably full of) than for someone with 15.
