I am assuming it is paid for every appearance the player makes, so if I bring a player on as a sub at 85 mins for the last 5 mins of the game and he has a £10,000 appearance fee it is going to cost me £10k for 5 mins. Is this correct? I was wondering because I recall reading somewhere that appearance fee was only paid if the player started the game. Also is it paid for all matches eg, friendlies, cup games, league games etc. or is it just league games? Thanks Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I did think originally though that it was if they played at least one full half or more. And I think its just paid during competitive matches, ie; not friendlies. Sir_aLex Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 my friend plays for yeovil and he gets his appearance bonus whether he starts or comes on with 30 seconds to go...the same when he played for ipswich. i'd say in general they do get it no matter how long they are on the pitch for but it could differ from team to team.
