pr1celess Posted January 1, 2011 Share Posted January 1, 2011 I'm going to tweak my database a little to make it up to date for the end of 2010, with Hughton, Alllardyce, Ferguson, Laws all unemployed. Obviously the Blackburn Board are the reason Big Sam is unemployed, but I know absolutely nothing about them. Does anyone have any knowledge of the characters that make up the board? Banda Ventakesh Rao, Banda Balaji Rao and Mrs Aunradha Jitendra Desai (other than them being chicken farmers who think £5m will get them Champs League!) Anuradha Jitendra Desai is the Chairwoman of Venky's. The other two are her brothers and they are co-owners of Venky's. All three are now on the board of Blackburn Rovers, at the moment John Williams is the Chairman of Rovers. Mrs Desai is coming over in Mid January to talk with John Williams to clarify roles. As part of the deal that Venky's signed with the Jack Walker Trust (previous owners) they are not allowed to change the board structure until July 2012.
