Nobby_McDonald
2012/3 - Newcastle Town (Northern Premier League Premier Division) It's going places we've never been before Board: Fight bravely against relegation Media: 21st Bookies: 16-1 Season tickets: 93 (up 1) A good league start where we don't lose in the first six games gets overshadowed by an embarrasing exit in the FA Cup. This starts a struggle for goals and results. Through Winter the struggle continues and we're deep in the relegation fight. In mid January I am offered a contract extension for a further year and wages of £275 per week (up £25). I sign and this sparks an upturn in form including two important wins at Vauxhall and Kendal. The final third of the season is a battle but battle we did as we manage to stay up with one game to spare. SnakeXe
Golf is one of those games noone cares about unless/until you play it. I'm still in the former camp, but could see myself picking it up one day when my knees are too shot for 5-a-side. My girlfriend is pretty fantastic about me playing FM to be honest, if she's watching rubbish TV then she's happy for me to play it rather than suffering in silence. Plus if there's football on she'll go out to the gym, so I can sit here in my pants watching football, playing FM, and drinking beer - plus I get a fitter girlfriend

Nobby_McDonald
Scout finds a player who is a former Icelandic under 21 international and has spent four seasons at Liverpool and not broke into the first team before being released. He looks like he will be a quality player for me. I find he is willing to negotiate and pay an absolute fortune (for this level) in wages so he signs. He plays cack and I question if he even knows what a goal is, never mind how he scores one. Then he does this. The first time I've ever seen a 10 given since the ratings went decimal.
DSYoungEsq
I had a couple last season, in friendlies though. I'm surprised he got the 10; he only won 6 of the 7 headers he tried.
SnakeXe
Wow, what a performance after all that preceding carpness! I had a 10.0 once on FM10, and once so far on the current game - each of which were also strikers who bagged 5.

GioGio85
It's certainly odd that a player with his ability is so poor over so many games and then goes and puts in a performance that no one else in that division could pull off......guess it's the Leon Best effect. Nobby_McDonald
Good to see Fulham rise to the occasion of the FA Cup Semi Final.
