withnail316
I've not commented on this thread much, but I've been a long-time reader. Unlucky in the Premier League, but it's been a hell of a read for us! Looking forward to seeing what you do next.
kris0710
Fantastic thread, from start to finish. Have only recently caught up to date with this but have thoroughly enjoyed it. Hand on heart the 2nd best one club save ever . Good luck with what you try next, i am ready to read from the beginning.
corinthiano
Excellent thread, sad to see it finished after such a long journey. Best of luck in your next save
Nobby_McDonald
Thank you very much chaps. Your words are very kind. I hope my FM14 save is as good for the enjoyment of us all.
Raware
Followed this since you started Nobby and I have to say it's been one of the most enjoyable reads I've had on this forum . Such commitment and dedication . It does seem a sad way to end the save but I think it's been a great achievement to get Newcastle Town where you have. Hopefully you have as much fun in FM14 as you obviously have in FM11.
deltablue
And so ends the longest running thread in FMCU history At least you made it to the Premier League in the end but it's a shame it went do badly when you did.
AK22
All good things come to an end, it seems. Glad to see that you had your day in the sun, though (AKA the Premier League). Been a top career

I'm enjoying FM14 so far, though I have missed two versions out so a couple of things have taken a little getting used to.

Really? Do I get an award? I knew the Premier League was going to be tough, but to be so far adrift did hurt.

Nobby_McDonald
2046/7 - Newcastle Town (Championship) Pathé Diallo took the reigns at Newcastle Town after my retirement. A Mali international with 59 caps, he had solid spells in the Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin, 1860 Munich and St Pauli before moving to Newcastle-under-Lyme. He did well, loosing some freed players (some due to their wages) before wheeling and dealing to a fifth place finish, where Town lost to Sunderland in the Playoff Semi Finals. A familiar end!
