DSYoungEsq
Save games with the Polish Second Division loaded won't run under 11.2. SI are looking into it. No word on when/if they will have a fix.
Nobby_McDonald
Mr Young summed it up. New games on 11.2 with Poland running are fine. Games created before the patch aren't with the new patch installed. I know one thing for sure. I'll never use Steam in the future. That way I can control when I patch things. I'm very annoyed, I could have had a good long session tonight and also tomorrow night unless they find a fix in the day time.
rancer890
I thought it was only a Polish second division issue. Tough luck Nobby and you're not alone.
Nobby_McDonald
I've uploaded my save to the technical forum but I'm not holding much hope that they will have a fix today and I can play tonight.
GioGio85
Unlucky mate, I can imagine how frustrating that must be. Hopefully they will announce a fix sooner rather than later.

Nobby_McDonald
Unlucky mate, I can imagine how frustrating that must be. Hopefully they will announce a fix sooner rather than later. Incredibly frustrating! Thing is... if it's not fixed soon, then I won't get far into my career by the time FM2012 comes out which would mean I wouldn't be buying it. Assuming I enjoy a long career at Newcastle...
SnakeXe
You can change the patching preferences on Steam if you do right click > Properties > Updates Tab > Automatic Updates > Do not automatically update this game. Doesn't help now unfortunately, but might be worthwhile for future reference.
Nobby_McDonald
Thanks Snake, but doesn't that kind of defeat the object of Steam?
SnakeXe
Depends why you use Steam I guess! The reason I use Steam is mainly to not need the disk in the drive (I like the other benefits like being able to reinstall from Steam if I lose the disk/damage it, but I haven't needed that yet). I like to wait until the end of a season to patch up, so I turn patching off normally, then if one has been released when I arrive at the break, switch it back on. Nobby_McDonald
2011/2 - Newcastle Town (Northern Premier League First Division South) It's where the beautiful game turned ugly Board: Respectable position Media: 10th Bookies: 14-1 Season tickets: 92 (up 2) Before the season starts the board generously give me an extra £50 per week to top my wages up to £250. Not a bad part time wage. We start flying. We score goals left right and centre and an early December 3-0 at local rivals and fellow flying starters Kidsgrove puts us clear of them by 5 points after 16 games having lost just once. We're ten clear of the third place team. In mid January we are still top having lost twice in twenty three games. The board give me an extra £25 per week and year on my contract. I also apply the second patch plus hotfix. Rushton got injured and the goals dried up. We might have scored more goals had we partnered Florence & The Machine and Enter Shikari up front. We start drawing too many games and losing a few. We're hanging on... And hang on we do. With a game to play we are three points clear of Sutton Coldfield but have a superior goal difference by twelve. Job done. Just. Silly, absurd, ridiculous. SnakeXe
Is he singing or shouting? Both and neither. I can't do it myself, but a few friends can. Haven't been singing long enough to develop the muscles in my abdomen/diaphragm, if you do it without that strong base then you destroy your voice. I don't really like Enter Shikari, but it's nothing to do with their singer. Great first season, good luck in the Northern Premier (I assume).
