hrbfcrule
August 2047 League: IFK Goteborg 2-0 Tord A very disappointing result, the performance was there but the finishing was not. Goteborg went 2-0 up after 30 mins but almost immediately after scoring the 2nd they got a man sent off. This was our chance as we piled on the pressure to get the breakthrough and give us a way back into the match. However we just coudn't score, so frustrating especially as it's a top of the table 6 pointer. League: Tord 3-0 Syrianska FC We bounced back well, Rickard Persson (YP81), Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Karl Jawo (YP80) all on target as we eased to victory over Syrianska. League: Malmo FF 1-0 Tord Another frustrating day as again we missed chances in a match we should have at least drawn. We had the much better 1st half but couldn't get the opening goal. Right after the break Malmo scored and I knew it was going to be one of those games. We had 2 or 3 more golden opportunities to level things up but they were all squandered. League: Tord 2-0 Hammarby Fotboll A pretty poor performance but we did win it and that's all that matters. We left it very late, Axel Nordgren (YP71) scoring in he 87th min and then Eddie Rubin (YP72) added a 2nd in injury time as they looked for an equaliser. This season for some reason we were put straight into the Group Stage. We were given a tough group which contained the holders Lyon. The other Swedish teams didn't fare too well in Europe this season: Firstly Atvidaberg fell at the 1st hurdle, disappointingly losing to Kaposvar of Hungary in the Euro Cup 2nd Qualifying Round. IK Sirius were put into the Champions League Best Placed 3rd Qualifying Round where they only narrowly lost 2-1 to sc Heerenveen of the Netherlands. They then unluckily got Stade Rennais in the Euro Cup 4th Qualifying Round where they got thrashed 5-0 away but got a respectable 1-1 draw at home. Malmo managed to beat Icelandic team FH 5-1 on aggregate in the 3rd Qualifying Round but then lost 2-0 on aggregate to Basel in the next round. AIK only had 1 round to negotiate and they did just that. They beat AA Gent 2-1 to get their place in the Euro Cup Group Stages:

Thanks Straight in to Champions League.. Tough group, but I think you might get lucky and be able to pick up some points against the likes of Galatasaray. Yer one of the better groups to get I think. Would have preferred being in Ranger's of Celtic's groups but I can't complain.
hrbfcrule
September 2047 League: IK Sirius 2-0 Tord A very disappointing day, IK Sirius battered us and rightly beat us 2-0. We dropped off the top of the table because of this result as Goteborg leapfrogged us on goal difference. League: Tord 1-0 Atvidaberg Eddie Rubin (YP72) got us off to the perfect start with a goal inside the 1st minute. It was looking like it was going to turn into a goal fest judging but the opening few mins but soon our day got a lot worse. Rickard Persson (YP81) saw red for a vicious challenge in the 36th min which really put us on the backfoot for the rest of the match. Despite this hindrance we more than held our own for the remaining hour and deserved our slender lead. Champions League Group A: Tord 1-2 Galatasaray Eddie Rubin (YP72) was again quickest off the mark as he scored in the 7th min to give us a 1-0 lead over Galatasaray. The lead didn't last long as we conceded twice in 2 mins midway through the 1st half to completely change the game around. We continued to attack but to no avail as Galatasaray ran out 2-1 winners. Very disappointed to lose this as it was probably our most winnable game. League: Orebro 2-4 Tord Eddie Rubin (YP72) netted 2 more goals including another in under a minute of the match starting. Adam Karlsson (YP65) and Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) also netting before the hour mark to give us a 4-0 lead. However we did have to survive a late scare as Orebro scored twice in the last 15 mins. A slightl lapse in concentration but it didn't prove too costly. League: Tord 3-2 Helsingborg Would it surprise you if I said Eddie Rubin (YP72) got the opening goal in the opening 10 mins of the match for the 4th match in a row? It shouldn't because he did. Helsingborg immediately equalised before Erik Fahlman (YP74) retook the lead in just the 22nd min. Just before half time Helsingborg equalised again as an even half ended all square. How we won it after our 2nd half performance i'll never know. We didn't have a single shot on target yet an own goal just past the hour mark gave us a 3-2 win and send us 3 points clear of IFK Goteborg.
hrbfcrule
October 2047 Champions League Group A: Lyon 1-0 Tord So unlucky not to steal a point against the reigning champions. We only conceded thanks to a 65th min penalty. League: Mjallby 4-4 Tord A great game for the neutrals but 2 points throw away for us. Adam Karlsson (YP65) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) put us 2-0 up after 20 mins but Mjallby scored twice in 5 mins to pull back level by half time. In the 2nd half they even took a 3-2 lead but Axel Nordgren (YP71) immediately levelled things up again. In the 61st min Mjallby took the lead again and yet again we equalised almost immediately, Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) getting our 4th to end a thrilling game at 4-4. League: GAIS 1-4 Tord Stefan Zhubi (YP76) scored twice with Oskar Svedberg (YP69) getting another to give us a 3-0 lead at half time. GAIS threatened to mount a comeback when they got a goal back straight after the break. But an own goal by them immediately ended their hopes of getting something from the game. Champions League Group A: Porto 3-0 Tord We had an awful 1st half in which we conceded 3 times but the 2nd half was much more impressive. The game could have quite easily turned into a rout but we held in there to make sure it stayed at a respectable scoreline.
hrbfcrule
November 2047 League: Tord 1-0 AIK A win was needed to secure the title for a 4th time in a row. Not our favoured opponents to try and get a win against but we managed it. Rickard Persson (YP81) scored early in the 2nd half to give us the deserved 3 points and another title. Champions League Group A: Tord 0-3 Porto We conceded an early goal which set the tone for the match. We struggled to cope for large parts of the match and Porto eventually made the points safe late in the 2nd half as they added a quickfire double. League: Skarhamn 0-2 Tord We ended the league campaign on a high as Karl Jawo (YP80) and Adam Karlsson (YP65) both scored 1st half goals as we eased past Skarhamn. Champions League Group A: Galatasaray 1-1 Tord Finally we get a point in the Champions League, our performances have definitely deserved it so far. Galatasaray got off to the better start and eventually got the opening goal on the stroke of half time. But after an hour we were still level so I decided to go for it, all out attack. It paid off as Axel Nordgren (YP71) scored the equaliser with 10 mins remaining. After the title win I got a couple of messages. Firstly that I topped the Swedish Hall of Fame: and secondly I got this message: About bloody time
hrbfcrule
End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2047 League Table, League Graph Squad We started off well and continued this form until the halfway stage. IFK Goteborg pushed us all the way throughout the season untilt eh evry end when they drifted away. The only blip we had was 3 league losses in 6 games in August which was around the halfway stage of the league. Swedish Super Cup An extra time loss to AIK. After going 1-0 down early on we quickly hit back. As the game looked to be heading to penalties AIK got a dubious penalty of their own in the 116th min which they scored to win the 1st cup of the season. Swedish Cup Again drew IFK Goteborg away in the 3rd round and again we lost, this time by a goal to nil. Europe Fixtures Went straight into the Groups for some reason instead of going into the Champions Playoff draw. So far our performances have been very respectable even managing a point against Galatasaray away after unluckily losing at home to them. Reserves/U19's Reserve League Finished dead last again. U19 League Finished 4th despite starting promisingly. Youth Players (At the Club) Erik Mansson (YP50) - Still played a decent part in this season but only because we have no decent replacements to replace him. Roger Magnusson (YP52) - Played very well but again he is another ageing defender who desperately needs to be replaced. Viktor Andersson (YP53) - Still played decently despite his age, a true great for the club. Albin Carlsson (YP55) - Played occasionally and did ok, he probably only has a few seasons left in him now. Stefan Hedlund (YP64) - Didn't have a good season and as a result is slowly losing his place in the team. Adam Karlsson (YP65) - Was great throughout the season even managing a few goals. Tommy Eriksson (YP66) - Still low in the order of strikers so rarely got a game. Didn't do his cause any good when he did play though. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) - Mostly came off the bench and did ok but a bit of a disappointment considering his previous season. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) - Was fantastic yet again for us, scored 8 goals this season which is brilliant for a central defender. Phillip Nilsson (YP70) - Played a lot but didn't really get going. Got a few goals and assists but should be getting more. Axel Nordgren (YP71) - Really struggled this season, had a few injury problems but really should have got a higher return. Eddie Rubin (YP72) - Was again our stand out striker with 15 goals and 13 assists in 33 games. Joakin Hjelm (YP73) - Great season for him as he conceded the least goals in the league again. Erik Fahlman (YP74) - Hadn't recovered entirely well from his broken leg last season. Lets hope he can fully recover by next season. Stefan Zhubi (YP76) - Played really well again this season but did have a few injury troubles. Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) - Has been a real disappointment and again he failed to perform. Andreas Svensson (YP78) - Was solid at right back and occasionally defensive mid. Only young so he looks very good for the future. Sebastian Rosengren (YP79) - Only played a couple of times. Karl Jawo (YP80) - Didn't have quite the season that he did last time. Hoping for a much better one next season. Rickard Persson (YP81) - Continued to impress and even challenged Axel Nordgren (YP71) for a starting place. 10 goals in 28 appearances is not a bad return. Fredrik Eriksson (YP82) - A disappointing start at the club, hoping for a big improvement next season or he could be on his way pretty soon. Finances - Another big profit mainly due to getting into the CL Groups. hrbfcrule
December 2047 *Due to a game crash I had to redo the Galatasaray match which luckily ended in the same result except the score was 2-2 not 1-1* Champions League Group A: Tord 0-3 Lyon We went out fighting but in the end Lyon were just too much for us. 2 good quality goals followed by another penalty sealed our 3-0 loss. Overall I thought we were very respectable in our group. Didn't get embarrassed by anyone and were unlucky not to claim a few more points. AIK didn't have the best of times either. They managed 2 draws against NAC Breda and lost the remaining matches.

hrbfcrule
Well done to Sweden in Eurovision, I bet your lads will be celebrating all night Yeah it's all they've been singing in the dressing room all week . Some bad news: my computer is completely knackered so I can't continue this save for the time being. I have the save backed up and everything but the problem is being able to get another computer. Just as I started to have some free time after the exams as well . Guess I'll actually have to go outside and enjoy the weather

You'd have thought there'd be at least one randomly high valued (or even deservedly high valued ) Swede in all that time, it's not exactly a footballing backwater... hrbfcrule, have you ever received any higher bids from clubs? Really pleased to see this back as well! Yer it's very strange. I hardly receive any bids for any of my players. My best guess is because their wages are too high for the actual quality of the player so other clubs are put off. I occasionally get a club being interested in one of my players but I just tell them he is not for sale and that is the end of that. I also get the odd player wanting to leave but so far I've been able to talk them out of it. Wheyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy we're back . hrbfcrule
March 2048 Swedish Super Cup: AIK 2-3e Tord A great start to my return. 1 game 1 win 1 trophy. Eddie Rubin (YP72) netted after 28 mins to give us something to show for our dominance. We almost held on but in the 86th min AIK equalised despite being completely 2nd best all game. Extra time was a different story as that goal had given AIK a massive boost. The momentum was changing and we were the ones starting to struggle. Rickard Persson (YP81) retook the lead for us in the 93rd min before AIK deservedly equalised. Immediately after the half time interval we took the lead for the 3rd time through an own goal. This time we managed to keep it despite going down to 10 men due to injury and we could have made it worse when we were awarded a penalty. Unfortunately Phillip Nilsson (YP70) missed it. League: Tord 2-1 Orebro Erik Fahlman (YP74) scored our 1st league goal of the season just before half time. We were in full control but struggling to get the all important 2nd goal. Eventually Karl Jawo (YP80) got it in the 90th min t secure a winning start to our campagn. Orebro got a 94th min consolation but we got the 3 points. League: AIK 2-1 Tord We started off extremely well with Rickard Persson (YP81) scoring his 2nd goal of the season against the same opposition. However AIK learned from their mistakes in the Swedish Super Cup. They outplayed us all of the 1st half until they got the equaliser on the stroke of half time. They then took the lead in the 52nd min. Our chance of a comeback took a huge hit when Andreas Svensson (YP78) got sent off on the hour mark. We struggled to attack their goal and in the end AIK ran out easy winners. League: Tord 1-0 Skarhamn Erik Fahlman (YP74) netted the only goal of the game to double his tally for the season. He has now scored twice as many goals this season as he did all of last season. Let's hope his great goalscoring form continues.

hrbfcrule
April 2048 League: Vasby 0-1 Tord We still haven't quite found our stride this season and it showed in this match as we struggled to overcome a much weaker Vasby side. Phillip Nilsson (YP70) scored the only goal of the game to make it 9 points out of a possible 12. League: Helsingborg 0-1 Tord Our 3rd successive 1-0 win but this one was against a much tougher opposition. I wouldn't have been surprised if we had dropped points here. However Axel Nordgren (YP71) finally found his scoring boots to net his 1st of the season and continue our good start in the league. League: Tord 3-0 GAIS Much more like it. Rickard Persson (YP81) is really starting to establish himself as a starter especially with Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Eddie Rubin (YP72) struggling for form. Persson (YP81) put us 1-0 up before half time. 2nd half goals from Oskar Svedberg (YP69) and Karl Jawo (YP80) sealed the win. League: Tord 3-0 Gefle Rickard Persson (YP81) was again in top form as he bagged a brace against Gefle. Karl Jawo (YP80) also netted his 2nd in as many games to make it 3-0. League: Malmo 0-3 Tord An absolutely fantastic result as we recorded our biggest ever win over Malmo. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) opened the scoring before Karl Jawo (YP80) and Rickard Persson (YP81) both netted as we strolled to victory over one of the toughest teams in the league. League: IFK Goteborg 1-0 Tord So disappointing after having such a fantastic month. We were so unfortunate to not get anything out of the match as we were the slightly better side. A win here would have given us a massive points advantage over the rest of the league instead we are still within touching distance.

hrbfcrule
Very nice month. Such a shame about the Goteborg result. Yer we were going so well and it would have been nice to open up a big gap so early on.
hrbfcrule
May 2048 League: Tord 3-0 Hammarby Fotboll Back to our 3-0 winning ways. Adam Karlsson (YP65) opened the scoring with Axel Nordgren (YP71) doubling our lead on the stroke of half time. Karl Jawo (YP80) continued his fantastic form by adding our 3rd in the 2nd half. League: Atvidaberg 0-1 Tord Just about scraped past bottom of the table Atvidaberg. Erik Fahlman (YP74)'s cross/shot somehow found its way into the opposition's net. Flukey but we'll take it. Swedish Cup 3rd Round: Tord 0-1e IFK Goteborg Our 2nd loss of the season to Goteborg. This one was much more unlucky as we easily deserved to win. Despite the result it was a fantastic effort by what was mostly a 2nd XI. It took Goteborg 2 hours to break us down but they managed it just as the match was looking to go to penalties. League: Tord 1-0 Syrianska FC Axel Nordgren (YP71) hit a great shot from just outside the area in the 80th min to earn us all 3 points. Not a convincing performance against one of the weaker teams of the league but its 3 points and thats all that matters. League: Oddevold 0-2 Tord A dominant display in which we restricted Oddevold to 0 shots on target and only 4 shots overall, all of which were long shots. At the other end chances were hard to come by as Oddevold themselves defended well. Karl Jawo (YP80) and Erik Fahlman (YP74) had their shooting boots on this match as they both found the net from our limited attempts. June 2048 League: Tord 2-0 IK Sirius A surprisingly easy match considering the opposition and their position in the table. Axel Nordgren (YP71) put us ahead after just 10 mins. IK Sirius just simply had no answer for it as they struggled to threaten our goal at all. Seemingly any chance of them getting anything from the match went when they were reduced to 10 men in the 53rd min. Axel Nordgren (YP71) compounded the result with his 2nd of the match in the 66th min.

hrbfcrule
Thanks guys. Yer we have built up a nice gap in the 1st half of the season but surely we have to completely blow it. It's how I do things
hrbfcrule
July 2048 League: Elfsborg 0-2 Tord We almost had our 1st draw of the season but we are so opposed to the idea of a draw that we scored twice in 2nd half injury time just to make sure. Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Eddie Rubin (YP72) both netted in the dying seconds to rob Elfsborg of their point. League: Orebro 0-0 Tord Finally our 1st draw of the season which comes in the 18th game. We struggled badly and unlike the Elfsborg match we couldn't find any 90th min heroics. League: Tord 5-1 Vasby Well what a way to bounce back from a terrible performance. Karl Jawo (YP80) gave us the lead after 12 mins. Our great start got even better when Vasby were reduced to 10 men with just 22 mins gone. An own goal and strikes from Erik Fahlman (YP74) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) gave us a 4-0 lead at half time. Vasby got a goal back just before the hour as they looked to stage an unlikely comeback but Karl Jawo (YP80) ended things with his 2nd of the match and our 5th in the 77th min. Champions League Champions 3rd Qual 1st Leg: Legia 2-3 Tord A fantastic win but we will be angry with ourselves at having let Legia back into the tie. Eddie Rubin (YP72) netted after just 4 mins to send us off to a flying start. Things got better in the 2nd half when our dominance resulted in 2 more goals from Freddie Eriksson (YP82) and Erik Fahlman (YP74). However we blundered badly as we lost concentration and Legia scored twice in the last 10 mins of the match to give them a decent chance of qualifying. Those goals could yet prove costly. . . . hrbfcrule
August 2048 League: Tord 3-2 AIK A brilliant win against AIK who we normally struggle against. After a brilliant start we seemed desperate to throw it away just like the previous match. Axel Nordgren (YP71) and an own goal gave us a 2-0 lead going into half time. Immediately after half time AIK scored. At this point I was thinking "uh oh I think I know what's about to happen here" but I was pleasantly surprised when Rickard Persson (YP81) restored our 2 goal lead. The 2 goal cushion didn't last long though as AIK bounced back immediately meaning we had a nervy last 20 mins as we desperately hung on to the 3 points. Champions League Champions 3rd Qual 2nd Leg: Tord (5) 2-2 (4) Legia Phew!! Goalless for the 1st hour but the game sprung into life after that. Axel Nordgren (YP71) gave us the lead in a very even game. However Legia equalised in the 84th min. Erik Fahlman (YP74) then made it 2-1 from the penalty spot in the 87th min. But it wasn't over there. Legia again equalised in the 89th min and almost got a 3rd in the dying seconds. Why have we conceded 4 goals to them in the last 10 mins of games?!? The other Swedish teams had mixed success. IFK Goteborg were beaten 4-0 on aggregate by Lokomotiv Moscow in the Champions League Best Placed 3rd Qualifying Round. In the Euro Cup Malmo had already seen off Nyireghaza in the 2nd Qualifying Round, 5-2 on aggregate. They then beat Chernomorets 2-0 on aggreagte in the 3rd Qualifying Round. IK Sirius saw off Vojvodina in their 3rd Qualifying Round tie beating them 4-2. League: Skarhamn 3-2 Tord Our European hangover was plain for all to see. Skarhamn deserved to beat us by more than that as we scored from our only 2 shots on target. Karl Jawo (YP80) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) were on target for us but Skarhamn were just too good for us on the day. League: Tord 3-0 Helsingborg We dominated Helsingborg for the whole game but it took almost an hour before we could prove our dominance. Axel Nordgren (YP71) broke the deadlock and then the floodgates opened, Rickard Persson (YP81) added a 2nd and Adam Karlsson (YP65) quickly added a 3rd all in the space of 10 mins. Champions League Champions Playoff 1st Leg: Tord 1-0 Slovan Liberec A tough opposition but we played well and gave ourselves a real chance of progressing as we didn't concede an away goal. Axel Nordgren (YP71) was again on target to give us a 1-0 lead going into the 2nd leg. League: GAIS 2-1 Tord We started very poorly and it cost us. GAIS scored two early goals which really knocked us back. 4 mins into the 2nd half GAIS got a men sent off which proved to be the catalyst we needed to get ourselves going in this match. Stefan Zhubi (YP76) got a goal back but we couldn't find another. Champions League Champions Playoff 2nd Leg: Slovan Liberec (3) 3-0 (1) Tord We again conceded twice early on which pretty much ended our hopes of progressing. We were then on the back foot and conceded again before half time. Nothing was going right as we twice hit the woodwork and missed numerous chances to get back into the game. It was not to be but Euro Cup Group Stages here we come. In the Euro Cup 4th Qualifying Round IFK Goteborg lost 6-2 on aggregate to Braga. Malmo also lost our to Bourdeaux 3-1. The other teams enjyoyed success though. IK Sirius beat Maritimo on away goals and AIK comfortably beat Zilina. 3 Swedish teams in the group stages League: Tord 5-1 IFK Goteborg What a great way to take out your Champions League exit anger. Axel Nordgren (YP71) scored after just 33 seconds but from then on it was the Rickard Persson (Y81) show. He scored twice in the 1st half to make it 3-0. Erik Fahlman (YP74) then saw red just on the stroke of half time to put a spanner in the works. Goteborg got a dubious pen 6 mins into the 2nd half to make it 3-1 and they were now right back in the game. However Rickard Persson (YP81) had other ideas as he completed his hat trick and then added his 4th of the game in the 81st min.
