August 9th: Hardly Athletic v Cambridge: Blue Square Premier (2/46)

We started brilliantly and on the 3rd minute we went into the lead as A.Anymoredohnuts played a one two with F.F.Tikle-Wok to fire past the Cambridge keeper. Six minutes later we had another chance with A.Marks firing just over the crossbar from close range. On the 24th minute we came close again with B.Arsenal crossing into the area but C.Fantu failed to connect with the ball and it wide of the post. Just after the half hour we had our next chance as F.F.Tikle-Wok was brought down in the area by the Cambridge defence, T.Owens stepped up for the penalty but his effort was poor and the keeper easily saved the penalty. On the 37th minute though we doubled our lead as F.F.Tikle-Wok used his strength to barge into the area and wasted no time in firing past the keeper.

Half Time Score 2-0

I made one change in the seconds half as Panpardus came on for Ishu. The second half saw us control a lot of the half but for all our pressure we couldn’t get into the Cambridge area. However late into the game we killed the game off as F.F.Tikle-Wok sprinted onto a C.de Bruijn throughball and fired past the Cambridge keeper to give us all three points.

Hardly Athletic 3 A.Anymoredohnuts 3, F.F.Tikle-Wok 37, 90+2

Cambridge 0

Players: G.Burgess, B.Arsenal, G.Spavlachenko, M.Kowalski, T.Owens, Ishu (45-Panpardus), C.de Bruijn, C.Fantu, A.Marks, F.F.Tikle-Wok, A.Anymoredohnuts

Post Match Review: Another good performance as we dominated much of the game . The second half though we did struggle to get that killer touch. The game did come at a cost though as C.Fantu picked up a hamstring injury and will be out for around 2-3 weeks. The Man of the Match Award will be going to F.F.Tikle-Wok who played well throughout the game and grabbed a couple of goals to boot

August 13th: Barrow (A) Blue Square Premier (3/46)

A slow start saw little in the way of action within the first half. The only piece of action was a long range effort by the Barrow midfield however the ball never dipped and G.Burgess watched it rise over the crossbar.

Half Time Score 0-0

The second half wasn’t much better however on the 54th minute we had the chance to grab the lead as G.Bear was brought down in the area for a penalty, L.Schnitzel stepped up for the penalty and wasted no time in slotting the ball past the Barrow keeper. Five minutes after the goal I made a couple of changes as M.Samedan and J.Scottlee of Hesselink came on for Ishu and A.Anymoredohnuts. The game was really dragging and with four minutes remaining I was forced into a change as A.Marks fell awkwardly and I replaced him with Panpardus.

Barrow 0

Hardly Athletic 1 L.Schnitzel 54 pen

Players: G.Burgess, L.Schnitzel, S.Carl Goatsburg, M.Kowalski, T.Owens, Ishu (59-M.Samedan), C.de Bruijn, G.Bear, A.Marks (inj 86-Panpardus), F.F.Tikle-Wok, A.Anymoredohnuts (59-J.Scottlee of Hesselink)

Post Match Review: Not the best of games for the fans to watch. However we grabbed all three points which is the most important thing. The win came at a cost though as A.Marks will be out of action for 4-5 weeks after breaking his wrist. The Man of the Match Award will be going to L.Schnitzel for the winner

August 16th: Crawley (A) Blue Square Premier (4/46)

A pretty quiet game as we struggled to get going. It took till the 27th minute for the first real effort of the game as Panpardus curled the ball into the area but A.Anymoredohnuts managed to fluff his header and the ball went over the crossbar. Six minutes later Crawley had there first chance as a slip in defence by T.Owens was capitalised on but M.Kowalski rescued the day with a last ditch tackle in the area. On the stroke of half time though we grabbed the lead as A.Anymoredohnuts hit home from close range after some poor keeping saw the ball loose at his feet.

Half Time Score 0-1

The second half was eight minutes old when Crawley grabbed the lead with P.Stonehouse firing in off the upright after a great run by the opposition into the defence. On the 64th minute we had our next chance as F.F.Tikle-Wok hit a thunderous effort past the Crawley keeper but the ball was rising too much and it went over the crossbar. On the 76th minute I made a couple of changes with M.Samedan and J.Scottlee of Hesselink coming on for Panpardus and F.F.Tikle-Wok. Just before the full time whistle we came close to losing the point as the Crawley attack jinked his way past the defence but G.Burgess saved well

Crawley 1 P.Stonehouse 53

Hardly Athletic 1 A.Anymoredohnuts 45

Players: G.Burgess, L.Schnitzel, S.Carl Goatsburg, M.Kowalski, T.Owens, Ishu, C.de Bruijn, G.Bear, Panpardus (76-M.Samedan), F.F.Tikle-Wok (76-J.Scottlee of Hesselink), A.Anymoredohnuts

Post Match Review: Not the best of performances as we never managed to get into the game. We were alittle lucky really to get the point but a point is better than nothing. The Man of the Match Award will be going to M.Kowalski who kept the defence in shape whilst other seemed to struggle

August 20th: Forest Green (H) Blue Square Premier (5/46)

We began the game well and on the 11th minute we went into the lead as C.de Bruijn sprinted into the area and curled the ball past the keeper. Eight minutes later we had another chance to score as A.Anymoredohnuts headed towards goal a Panpardus cross but it went just wide of the post. On the 27th minute we grabbed another goal as J.Scottlee of Hesselink hit a thunderous effort past the Forest keeper. Five minutes later it got even better as J.Scottlee of Hesselink headed in a C.de Bruijn cross. We were in complete control of the game and on the 43rd minute we should of grabbed another goal but the Forest keeper saved well from J.Scottlee of Hesselink’s effort.

Half Time Score 3-0

I made one change to the team at the start of the half as B.Arsenal came on for L.Schnitzel. Four minutes into the half we conceded a silly goal as a slip by substitute B.Arsenal saw A.Mangan free and goal and firing past H.Chaha. However after the goal we started to get back to same level as the first half and on the 64th minute we had another chance to score as A.Anymoredohnuts ran onto a G.Bear pass but yet again his effort went wide of the post. Eight minutes later we killed the game off as J.Scottlee of Hesselink showed his strike partner how to do things with a thunderous effort which gave the Forest keeper no chance of saving. Forest Green never really stood s chance.

Hardly Athletic 4 C.de Bruijn 11, J.Scottlee of Hesselink 27, 32, 72

Forest Green 1 A.Mangan 49

Players: H.Chaha, L.Schnitzel (45-B.Arsenal), G.Spavlachenko, M.Kowalski, T.Owens, M.Samedan, C.de Bruijn, G.Bear, Panpardus , J.Scottlee of Hesselink, A.Anymoredohnuts

Post Match Review: A great performance lads, we need to keep this up and lets get promotion this year. The Man of the Match Award will be going to J.Scottlee of Hesselink who put in the sort of performance that I knew he was capable of. Again well done lads

August 27th: Merthyr (A) Blue Square Premier (6/46)

Merthyr piled forward and on the 7th minute they had the first chance to score with a thunderous effort which had H.Chaha scrambling along the line to save. Four minutes later Merthyr had another chance as there attack piled through the defence but T.Owens slid in and blocked the effort. On the 18th minute we again came close to losing a goal as we again struggled to cope with the forward pressure and yet again T.Owens saved the day with a thunderous challenge that sent the player flying, but it was clean. We just weren’t getting anything of the ball and on the 33rd minute H.Chaha performed heroics to save the ball after a powerful effort from close range. On the stroke of half time we finally had our first chance with J.Scottlee of Hesselink heading wide of the post from a Panpardus cross.

Half Time Score 0-0

I made one change after the half time rollicking as F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for A.Anymoredohnuts. On the 57th minute Merthyr had another chance to score but a powerful tackle by T.Owens again managed to save the day. Seven minutes later I made another change as Ishu came on for the less than impressive M.Samedan. Soon after the change we had our next chance as Panpardus rattled the upright from outside the area. On the 78th minute Merthyr finally got the goal they deserved as A.Rush barged past M.Kowalski and slipped the ball under the body of H.Chaha who was alittle slow to react.

Merthyr 1 A.Rush 78

Hardly Athletic 0

Post Match Review: Poor, very poor. I was less than impressed with the way you lot performed. Tomorrow you lot will all be back in for extra training. However there was one man who showed the rest of you what to do and that was Man of the Match Award winner T.Owens. If the rest of you lot played like that you would of got something out of this game

Players: H.Chaha, L.Schnitzel, G.Spavlachenko, M.Kowalski, T.Owens, M.Samedan (64-Ishu), C.de Bruijn, G.Bear, Panpardus , J.Scottlee of Hesselink, A.Anymoredohnuts (45-F.F.Tikle-Wok)

August 31st: Injury news sees C.Fantu back to full training following his injury

Cheers for you continued support minisav, appreciated as always.

Brocklin nice to see you popping into the story, yes the team players are made up of members of the forum

September 1st: Injury news sees M.Wilson out of action for around 7-10 days after gashing his head in training

September 3rd: Chelmsford (H) Blue Square Premier (7/46)

Within eight minutes of the kick off we had grabbed the lead as J.Scottlee of Hesselink ran into the area off a Panpardus throughball top fire in off the post. On the 16th minute we grabbed another goal as J.Scottlee of Hesselink headed in a C.de Bruijn corner after Panpardus’s initial effort was well saved. We continued to dominate the game and on the 26th minute we should of grabbed another effort but A.Anymoredohnuts headed wide of the post from a Panpardus cross. Just before the break we had another chance to score as Panpardus tried a curling effort past the keeper but the ball didn’t curl enough and clipped the outside of the post.

Half Time Score 2-0

I made one change to team at half time as D.O’Toole came on for A.Anymoredohnuts. Four minutes into the half we grabbed another goal as substitute D.O’Toole played a one two with Panpardus who fire with ease past the Chelmsford keeper. Chelmsford weren’t getting anything of the ball and on the 68th minute we grabbed another goal as a C.de Bruijn cross was nodded into the net by D.O’Toole. With nine minutes remaining we finished the game off with style as D.O’Toole grabbed his hattrick with a well struck effort from outside the area to give us a convincing 5-0 lead

Hardly Athletic 5 J.Scottlee of Hesselink 8, 16, D.O’Toole 49, 68, 81

Chelmsford 0

Players: H.Chaha, L.Schnitzel, G.Spavlachenko, M.Kowalski, T.Owens, M.Samedan , C.de Bruijn, G.Bear, Panpardus , J.Scottlee of Hesselink, A.Anymoredohnuts (45-D.O’Toole)

Post Match Review: An excellent performance by all as we controlled the game with such ease. Chelmsford were never really a match for us. The Man of the Match Award will be going to Panpardus who was instrumental in four of the five goals and dominated the midfield with such ease.

International news sees C.Fantu play for Armenia in their 2-0 loss against Finland in the Euro 2012 Qualifier, he came on at half time and earnt a rating of 6.3

September 10th: Grays (A) Blue Square Premier (8/46)

Grays started well and on the 12th minute they had the first chance with a well hit effort which had H.Chaha saving well. Six minutes later they had another chance as a slip by G.Spavlachenko was intercepted but H.Chaha came out and smothered the ball. Grays were controlling the start of the game and on the 23rd minute they had another chance to score as a great team move saw their attacker one on one with H.Chaha who stood tall and saved well. On the 36th minute we finally had our first chance as D.O’Toole ran onto a G.Bear through ball but his effort went wide of the post when he should of done a lot better.

Half Time Score 0-0

I made two changes to the team at half time as B.Arsenal and J.Scottlee of Hesselink came on for L.Schnitzel and A.Anymoredohnuts. Six minutes into the half Grays grabbed the lead as L.McEvilly barged his way through the defence to slot the ball past H.Chaha. On the 65th minute Grays were reduced to ten men after D.Robson was sent off for a very rash challenge on Panpardus. Despite having the numeral advantage we failed to make it pay as Grays continued to dominate. On the 78th minute Grays had one final chance with a well struck effort from outside the area but H.Chaha again saved well.

Grays 1 L.McEvilly 51

Hardly Athletic 0

Post Match Review: From a great performance to a poor performance. We really need to be consistent. I can’t really say much else apart from not happy. However the Man of the Match Award will be going to H.Chaha who kept the scoreline respectable with some fine saves throughout the game

September 14th: International news sees S.Carl Goatsburg playing for Thailand U23’s 0-2 loss against South Korea in the Olympic Qualifier, he played the full ninety minutes and earnt a rating of 6.0

September 17th: Stevenage (H) Blue Square Premier (9/46)

We started well and on the 7th minute we had our first effort as Panpardus hit a thunderous effort towards goal but his effort was tipped round the post by the Stevenage keeper. Nine minutes later we had another chance with J.Scottlee of Hesselink heading just wide of the post by G.Bear. On the 24th minute though Stevenage grabbed the lead with a tame effort which H.Chaha should of really saved. Eight minutes later though we had the chance to score as D.O’Toole was fouled in the area by the Stevenage keeper, G.Bear stepped up for the penalty and fired it towards goal but the Stevenage keeper managed to tip it round the post. On the stroke of half time we had another chance as Panpardus again came close with a powerful effort which wouldn’t dip enough and went over.

Half Time Score 0-1

I made a couple of changes to the team before we started the second half as A.Marks and A.Anymoredohnuts came on for G.Bear and J.Scottlee of Hesselink. Two minutes into the half we grabbed the equaliser as Panpardus threaded the ball to the feet of D.O’Toole who slid the ball under the body of the Stevenage keeper. However on the 57th minute Stevenage took the lead again as H.Chaha flapped at a simple cross and C.O’Grady headed the ball into the empty net. Soon after though we had another chance to score as D.O’Toole hit the ball towards goal from the edge of the area but it was easily saved by the Stevenage keeper. We carried on piling forward and on the 79th minute we had the chance to grab a goal but A.Anymoredohnuts failed to connect with Panpardus’s cross.

Hardly Athletic 1 D.O’Toole 47

Stevenage 2 C.O’Grady 24, 57

Players: H.Chaha, L.Schnitzel, G.Spavlachenko, M.Kowalski, T.Owens, M.Samedan, C.de Bruijn, G.Bear (45-A.Marks), Panpardus , D.O’Toole, J.Scottlee of Hesselink (45-A.Anymoredohnuts)

Post Match Review: We played well but couldn’t finish the chances we had. We were let down in the defence and goalkeeping area. The Man of the Match Award will be going to Panpardus who ran the midfield with ease and was unfortunate not to grab a goal himself

September 20th: Eastbourne Boro (H) Blue Square Premier (10/46)

Within the first minute we had the chance to take the lead as F.F.Tikle-Wok barged his way into the defence to fire past the keeper, however the goal was ruled out by the referee for a foul in the build up. On the 13th minute we had another chance to score with a thunderous effort from Panpardus which had the keeper scrambling along the line to save. On the 23rd minute we finally took the lead as D.O’Toole ran into the area and nodded in a C.Fantu cross. Six minutes later we had another chance as a F.F.Tikle-Wok slotted the ball wide of goal after running onto a C.Fantu throughball. With a minute remaining in the half though Eastbourne grabbed the equaliser with A.Atkins firing in past M.Wilson who was alittle slow to react.

Half Time Score 1-1

The second half started well for us as on the 48th minute C.Fantu crossed into the area but A.Marks failed to connect with the ball. Ten minutes later I made a couple of changes as L.Schnitzel and A.Anymoredohnuts came on for S.Carl Goatsburg and D.O’Toole. On the 72nd minute we had another chance to score as F.F.Tikle-Wok fired again wide of the post when he should of really done better. Six minutes later we had our final chance to score as C.Fantu rattled the upright from outside the area after some poor defending .

Hardly Athletic 1 D.O’Toole 23

Eastbourne Boro 1 A.Atkins 44

Players: M.Wilson, B.Arsenal, G.Spavlachenko, T.Owens, S.Carl Goatsburg (58-L.Schnitzel), Ishu, A.Marks, Panpardus, C.Fantu, D.O’Toole (58-A.Anymoredohnuts), F.F.Tikle-Wok

Post Match Review: Another good performance but we really should of scored more. Maybe some finishing practise is needed before the next match. The Man of the Match Award will be going to C.Fantu who partnered well with Panpardus but just outshone him

September 24th: Northwich (A) Blue Square Premier (11/46)

We completely dominated the game and on the 13th minute we went into the lead as T.Owens rose highest to head home a C.Fantu cross. Eight minutes later we doubled our lead as D.O’Toole fired in a thunderous effort from outside the area. It got even better on the 32nd minute as D.O’Toole sprinted into the area and he fired in past the Northwich keeper. It was getting too easy for my team and on the 28th minute we grabbed another goal as C.Fantu hit the ball in off the upright after barging into the area.

Half Time Score 0-4

We controlled the second half and on the 49th minute we grabbed another goal as A.Marks curled in a great freekick from outside the area after D.O’Toole was brought down on the way too goal. Five minutes later we had yet another chance with Panpardus firing just wide of the post after breaking clear of the defence. On the hour I made a couple of changes as C.de Bruijn and A.Anymoredohnuts came on for A.Marks and F.F.Tikle-Wok. On the 63rd we grabbed another goal as D.O’Toole hit a wonderful effort past the keeper who was just looking shell shocked. We carried on the forward pressure but it took till late into injury time for us to grab the final goal as D.O’Toole was brought down in the area for a penalty, T.Owens stepped up for the penalty and fired the ball past the keeper for the final goal in the rout.

Northwich 0

Hardly Athletic 7 T.Owens 13, 90+4 pen, D.O’Toole 21, 32, 63, C.Fantu 38, A.Marks 49

Players: M.Wilson, B.Arsenal, G.Spavlachenko, T.Owens, S.Carl Goatsburg, Ishu, A.Marks (60-C.de Bruijn), Panpardus, C.Fantu, D.O’Toole, F.F.Tikle-Wok (60-A.Anymoredohnuts)

Post Match Review: Brilliant lads, a complete performance. What more can be said, however it came at a cost as A.Anymoredohnuts will be out of action for around 2-3 weeks with a twisted knee. The Man of the Match Award will be going to D.O’Toole who grabbed an excellent hattrick

I'm glad TTO is a happy man, I dont like seeing him unhappy

October 1st: Aldershot (A) Blue Square Premier (12/46)

Before the game I was informed that D.O’Toole has been awarded the Blue Square Premier Player of the Month

We were the better team for the majority of the game and on the 17th minute we took the lead as D.O’Toole headed home a B.Arsenal cross. Just before the half hour we had another chance to score as F.F.Tikle-Wok ran through the defence but his final effort was poor and it went wide of the post. On the 38th minute though Aldershot had the chance to score with a long range effort which saw M.Wilson diving along the line to saved.

Half Time Score 0-1

The second half was much the same as we controlled the general play. Five minutes into the half we grabbed a second goal as a corner by B.Arsenal was headed home by T.Owens after F.F.Tikle-Woks effort was tipped round the post. We continued to pile forward but on the 77th minute we were reduced to ten men after Panpardus stupidly elbowed an Aldershot player in the face. A minute after the sending I made change with G.Bear coming on for D.O’Toole. Despite having only ten men we still continued to dominate and on the 89th minute we had the chance to grab another goal as C.Fantu fired just wide of the post from outside the area

Post Match Review: A good performance by the ten of the men in my team however Panpardus I’m not very happy at all. A silly sending off in a game when we didn’t need to be aggressive. The Man of the Match Award will be going to B.Arsenal for his performance down the wing setting up both of our goals.

October 3rd: Injury news sees S.Saville back in full training after his injury, other news sees S.Carl Goatsburg playing for Thailand in the 1-0 victory over Bhutan in the World Cup Qualifier. He played the full ninety minutes but will be disappointed with a rating of only 5.0

Panpardus - Cant really say much about the blatant elbow, we'll see what the FA have to say, Chester - Trust in the boss, your time in the team will come

October 15th: Ebbsfleet (A) Blue Square Premier (13/46)

We again started well and on the 9th minute we went into the lead as D.O’Toole rose highest to nod home a S.Saville cross. Four minutes later we doubled the lead as D.O’Toole made space for himself and fired under the body of the Ebbsfleet keeper. We were controlling the action and on the 29th minute we had another chance to score as D.O’Toole was brought down in the area for a penalty, Ishu grabbed the ball and fired towards goal but the Ebbsfleet keeper guessed right and saved the ball. On the 43rdminute we came close to grabbing another goal with F.F.Tikle-Wok rattling the upright from outside the area.

Half Time Score 0-2

At the start of the half I made a couple of changes with L.Schnitzel and C.de Bruijn coming on for G.Spavlachenko and C.Fantu. Ten minutes into the half we had another chance to score as F.F.Tikle-Wok was brought down in the area for a penalty, D.O’Toole stepped up for the penalty and fired towards goal but his effort was again well saved by the keeper. We continued to pile forward and on the 78th minute Ishu came close to scoring with a powerful strike which went just wide of the post. Eight minutes later we had yet another chance as S.Saville was brought down in the area for yet another penalty, this time A.Marks stepped up for the penalty but his effort was as poor as the others and the ball went well over the crossbar.

Post Match Review: Another great performance by the team, however it’s a shame that we couldn’t score from the spot. Anyway guys keep up this good run of form. The Man of the Match Award will be going to D.O’Toole who caused no end of problems for the Ebbsfleet defence and grabbed two goals to boot

October 19th: Wrexham (H) Blue Square Premier (14/46)

We started well and on the 12th minute we had the first chance as J.Scottlee of Hesselink fired towards goal but his effort was easily saved by the Wrexham keeper. Four minutes later we had another chance with A.Marks rattling the upright from a freekick 25 yards out after D.O’Toole was brought down on the way to goal. On the 32nd minute Wrexham came close to grabbing the lead with their first attack but M.Wilson reacted well to save the effort. Just before the half time interval J.Scottlee of Hesselink came close to grabbing a goal but his effort went wide of the post.

Half Time Score 0-0

At the start of the half I made a couple of changes as L.Schnitzel and F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for G.Spavlachenko and J.Scottlee of Hesselink who was struggling with a leg injury. Nine minutes into the half we grabbed the lead as A.Marks jinked his way through the Wrexham defence and fired into the net. On the 67th minute came close to grabbing a second goal as F.F.Tikle-Wok headed towards goal from an A.Marks cross but the Wrexham keeper managed to save well. Three minutes later we had yet another chance as C.Fantu was brought down in the area for a penalty, D.O’Toole stepped up for the penalty and fired in off the upright to give us a two goal lead. We were in complete control of the game and with two minutes remaining in the game we grabbed another goal as F.F.Tikle-Wok hit a thunderous effort from outside the area to give the Wrexham keeper no chance of saving

Hardly Athletic 3 A.Marks 54, D.O’Toole 70 pen, F.F.Tikle-Wok 88

Post Match Review: Another great performance lads as we controlled the majority of the game. You all played well and deserved the three points. However J.Scottlee of Hesselink will miss around 2-3 weeks after straining his thigh in the first half of the game. The Man of the Match Award will be going to A.Marks who controlled the midfield with ease and also grabbed a good goal to boot

A.Marks is the vice-captain, if A.Marks isnt in the team it is T.Owens

Mini thankyou for your comment much appreciated

October 22nd: Mansfield (H) FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round

The FA Cup tie started with a bang as within the first minute we went into the lead as B.Arsenal curled the ball into the area and D.O’Toole headed home much to the delight of the home fans. On the 16th minute we grabbed another goal as D.O’Toole used some strength to barge his way through the defence and fire past the Mansfield keeper. Mansfield were sinking without a trace and on the 29th minute we had another chance as A.Anymoredohnuts tried to curl the ball into the net from the edge of the area but the Mansfield keeper managed to save well. Just before the break we had another chance as a long ball over the top by G.Burgess saw S.Saville firing just wide of the post.

Half Time Score 2-0

Again I made a couple of changes at the start of the half as G.Bear and F.F.Tikle-Wok coming on for A.Marks and D.O’Toole. Mansfield started the half the better and on the 54th minute they came close to grabbing a goal back with a well struck effort which diverted off T.Owens and went out. On the 69th minute Mansfield managed to pull a goal back as C.Greenacre beat my defence to an easy ball and fired past G.Burgess who was helpless in his effort to save it. Ten minutes later we had the chance to regain our advantage as A.Anymoredohnuts fired towards goal but again the Mansfield keeper saved well. On the 86th minute Mansfield attacked again but a great saving lunge by B.Arsenal saw the attack finish and meant we went through to the next round of the FA Cup

Hardly Athletic 2 D.O’Toole 1, 16

Post Match Review: A solid performance for the team as we kept the ball well in the first half and got two essential goals. The second half saw Mansfield dominate more but some great defending by the team saw us only lose one goal. The Man of the Match Award will be going to B.Arsenal who was immense in defence

October 23rd: International News sees S.Carl Goatsburg play for Thailand in the 2-0 victory over Bhutan in their World Cup Qualifier. He played the full ninety minutes and earnt a rating of 6.1

October 24th: The draw for the FA Cup 1st Round has seen us pitted at home against Aldershot

October 26th: Kettering (A) Blue Square Premier (15/46)

We didn’t start well and on the 13th minute Kettering came close to grabbing the lead with a well struck effort which T.Owens blocked bravely. However doing the block T.Owens injured himself and had to have some physio treatment. A couple of minutes later he was fine to return to action and his first piece of action saw him hack down a Kettering on the way to goal, from the resulting freekick L.Fowler curled the ball into the back of the net after G.Burgess was slow to react. However after the goal we upped the game and on the 29th minute we grabbed the equaliser as a bullet header from T.Owens rebounded off the crossbar and C.de Bruijn slotted home the loose ball. Six minutes later we had another chance as A.Anymoredohnuts screwed and easy ball wide of the post after running onto a D.O’Toole throughball. With two minutes remaining in the half we took the lead as T.Owens fired in a thunderous effort from the edge of the area after breaking clearof our defence with the ball.

Half Time Score 1-2

I made a couple of changes to the team at the start f the half as C.Fantu and F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for A.Marks and A.Anymoredohnuts. The second half was pretty quiet in truth and it took till the 76th minute for us to muster up the first chance with F.F.Tikle-Wok heading wide of the post from close range. With minutes remaining in the game we grabbed a third goal as F.F.Tikle-Wok thundered in a powerful effort from outside the area that gave the Kettering no chance of saving. On the 87th minute we wrapped the game up as D.O’Toole sprinted into the area and slotted the ball home with ease to give us a convincing win

Post Match Review: After a slow start we pulled our fingers out and began to play the way I know we can. The Man of the Match Award will be going to T.Owens for his defending and grabbing agoal. I’ll let him off for the slip up which cost us the early goal

You did nothing wrong M.Kowalski, you was just showing the other diva's in the team how to be a good team player (Before you say it there is a hint of BS in the air lol)

October 29th: Dag &Red (H) Blue Square Premier (16/46)

Again we started brilliantly and within a minute we were in the lead as G.Spavlachenko crossed into the area and D.O’Toole side footed the ball home from close range. Eight minutes later we had another chance as A.Anymoredohnuts ran into the area but fired wide of the post when he should of scored. However on the 19th minute he grabbed the team second goal with a rasping effort from 25 yards out which gave the Dagenham keeper no chance of saving. On the 27th minute we had another chance as A.Marks crossed into the area but D.O’Toole failed to connect with header and the ball went out for a throw in. With seven minutes remaining in the half I was forced into a change as G.Spavlachenko crossed the ball into the area but in doing that looked like he strained his groin. His replacement was M.Kowalski to the rapturous applaud of the home crowd.

Half Time Score 2-0

The second half started with me making a couple of changes as C.Fantu and F.F.Tikle-Wok in replacement of C.de Bruijn and D.O’Toole. Just before the hour we grabbed another goal as A.Marks crossed the ball into the area for A.Anymoredohnuts who volleyed the ball towards goal but the keeper blocked the effort and F.F.Tikle-Wok tapped in the rebound. On the 62nd minute though Dagenham pulled a goal back C.Anderson took advantage of a slip by B.Arsenal to fire past G.Burgess. Two minutes later they pulled another goal back as L.Pires fired a powerful effort into the top corner from just outside the area. On the 77th minute we had the chance to kill the game off as A.Anymoredohnuts fired in from close range but the keeper pulled off a magnificent save to deny him his second of the game.

Hardly Athletic 3 D.O’Toole 1, A.Anymoredohnuts 19, F.F.Tikle-Wok 59

Dag & Red 2 C.Anderson 62, L.Pires 64

Players: G.Burgess, B.Arsenal, G.Spavlachenko(inj 38 – M.Kowalski), T.Owens, L.Schnitzel, M.Samedan, C.de Bruijn (45-C.Fantu), S.Saville, A.Marks ©, D.O’Toole (45-F.F.Tikle-Wok), A.Anymoredohnuts

Post Match Review: A good performance in truth, however we made the end of the game little more nervous than we should of with some poor team defending which could of prevented the two goals. The game has come at a cost though with G.Spavlachenko injuring his groin and will miss around three weeks of action, also we have lost the services of C.de Bruijn who has pulled his hamstring and will miss around 3-4 four weeks of action. The Man of the Match Award will be going to A.Anymoredohnuts who caused no end of problems in the Dagenham defence, keep this up

November 1st: AFC Wimbledon (H) Blue Square Premier (17/46)

Before the game I found out that the club has taken a clean sweep of awards this month as D.O’Toole was awarded the Player of the Month, T.Owens has been awarded the Young Player of the Month and I have been awarded the Manager of the Month award.

We never really got started in this game and on the 11th minute we went a goal down as G.Martin fired in a powerful effort past H.Chaha who was at full stretch in trying to save. Eight minutes later we had our first chance of the game with A.Anymoredohnuts firing towards goal but his effort was well saved by the keeper. Just before the half hour we grabbed the equaliser as C.Fantu hit a wonderous effort past the keeper from outside the area. However the joy didn’t last too long and with three minutes remaining in the half we conceded a silly goal as T.Owens and L.Schnitzel collided with each other and S.Rendell fired in under H.Chaha.

Half Time Score 1-2

I made a couple of changes to the team at the start of the half as Ishu and F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for M.Samedan and D.O’Toole. However the second half was all Wimbledon as they controlled the majority of the play and on the 59th minute they grabbed the killer goal as S.Rendell fired in his second of the game. On the 78th minute AFC Wimbledon had another chance with a thunderous effort which was well saved by H.Chaha.

Hardly Athletic 1 C.Fantu 27

AFC Wimbledon 3 G.Martin 11, S.Rendell 42, 59

H.Chaha, B.Arsenal, S.Carl Goatsburg, T.Owens, L.Schnitzel, M.Samedan (45-Ishu), A.Marks ©, S.Saville, C.Fantu, D.O’Toole (45-F.F.Tikle-Wok), A.Anymoredohnuts

Post Match Review: Hopefully a quick blip in the season. To be truthful though I’m not too worried about it. The game came at a cost again with A.Marks twisting his ankle and he will be missing for around a month. The Man of the Match Award will be going to C.Fantu who scored and played pretty well in the defence.

November 3rd: Injury news sees J.Scottlee of Hesselink returning to full training following his recent injury

November 5th: Aldershot(H) FA Cup 1st Round

A real corker of a game for the fans and on the second minute we were in the lead as A.Anymoredohnuts sprinted onto a S.Saville throughball to fire past the Aldershot keeper. On the 9th minute Aldershot grabbed a goal as G.Noel-Williams fired past H.Chaha who was slow to react. However three minutes later we grabbed another goal as D.O’Toole rose highest to nod home a S.Saville cross from the touchline. The fans were loving the game and on the 25th minute we grabbed another goal as M.Samedan jinked his way through the defence and fired past the Aldershot keeper. Just before the break we had yet another chance as C.Fantu curled the ball towards the goal but his effort clipped the top corner and went out.

Half Time Score 3-1

Eight minutes into the half we went a further goal up as S.Saville grabbed a goal he deserved by hitting a thunderous effort from well outside the area which gave the Aldershot keeper no chance of saving. On the 57th minute we grabbed another goal as D.O’Toole jinked into the area and played a one two with S.Saville to slot into the empty net after the Aldershot keeper was left helpless. On the hour I made a triple change as M.Kowalski, Ishu and F.F.Tikle-Wok came on for L.Schnitzel, Panpardus and A.Anymoredohnuts. Three minutes later we conceded a silly goal as S.Carl Goatsburg poor backpass was intercepted and A.Sandell fired in past H.Chaha. On the 66th minute though we regained the advantage as S.Saville’s corner was headed home by M.Kowalski who’s celebration had little to be desired as he ran past me pointing at his name. With eleven minutes remaining Aldershot managed to pull another goal back as G.Noel-Williams used his strength to barge through the defence and fire past our keeper. However as before the Aldershot keeper was quickly followed by a goal of our own as F.F.Tikle-Wok fired a powerful effort into the top corner of the goal

Hardly Athletic 7 A.Anymoredohnuts 2, D.O’Toole 12, 57, M.Samedan 25, S.Saville 53, M.Kowalski 66, F.F.Tikle-Wok 86

Aldershot 3 G.Noel-Williams 9, 79, A.Sandell 63

H.Chaha, B.Arsenal, S.Carl Goatsburg, T.Owens ©, L.Schnitzel (60-M.Kowalski), M.Samedan, Panpardus (60-Ishu), S.Saville, C.Fantu, D.O’Toole, A.Anymoredohnuts (60-F.F.Tikle-Wok)

Post Match Review: Lads what can be said. Brilliant performance by all of you, its good too see goals from different players on the pitch. Keep this up lads and lets bring this into the League and get into League Two. The Man of the Match Award will be going to S.Saville who was just magnificent today.
