Working on all these things but we have a bigger issue currently which could effect the update.

Well with Ilkeston now gone we will have to find a way round the editor only letting 5 clubs go up instead of 6 to the BSS/BSN

Surely Ilkeston will be taken out in the release day patch?

They will have already gone but thats not the problem its promoting 6 teams in only 5 spots currently and thats difficult so do we bring Ilkeston back or have a massive play off between the Evo Stik, Ryman and Zamertto leagues

how do you think about doing? to this point you must replace ilkeston and to make to make 6 promotions instead of 5

That's all well and good... but who do you replace Ilkeston with? It will have an effect all the way down the pyramid.

I may have to add them back into the BSN but we will see if we can come up with nothing but thats the last resort currently.

My personal choice would've been to just remove Ilkeston and have different numbers of teams in those divisions. At least you can justify that on good footballing grounds.

I am making my own version.

I have great plans, and aim to have completed the database up to level 8 by the saturday/sunday after release. I should succeed. I have studied his database, and it looks fairly easy. I have recreated it correcting many mistakes, so now I hope I can finally complete it for fm11. My release dates (Prob on fm-base, of fmfb)

Level 8 v1 - Nov 6-9

Level 8 v2 (with fixed bugs - if any) - Nov 9-10

Level 9 v1 - Nov 10-11

Level 9 v2 will be included in level 10 update

Level 10 - Nov 12

Level 10 v2 (with fixed bugs - bound to be some) - Nov 14

Level 11 - Nov 16

Level 12 (fixed reported bugs from level 11)

Level 14 BETA - Nov 13

Level 14 OFFICIAL - Sunday 28th 12:00 SHARP

I will stop there, and I hope it all works. I will need beta testers, but I am going to work on this non stop.

If there are more requests I will do up to level 15 for the patch released after Jan transfers.

I will not create any players, or managers, or board members. I will create the correct kits, and I might make some major add-ons.

If I get bored and low support I will stop at level 10.

I think SB's statement is the right one. Is also the easiest to implement.

Fmdownloader, I do wish you succes with you database as it will also be a great addition to the community if realized. I do know from experience though that those release dates might be a lil' optimistic though..:) Level 13 alone has +70 leagues and 800+ teams, and Level 14 has 75+ leagues and almost a 1000 teams..it took me a while to put all that info in for my personal db which went down to level16 in FM2010.

Yes, I know.

The only floor with my DB, is that is wont have all the cups. I will edit all of the main cups, and create the main non league cups. I will also make One cup for each of the division things. Such as one for all the sussex leagues ect.

boys uniting the strengths could be done if we have the data up to the level 16 not c and problem the done it is to see if the game supports a so great massive structure of data.

in more all the cups of division and league

it would be very beautiful to play then in the 16 level the teams nn it needs to create her more since they play all the teams reserves

@ RTC: So at this moment you still plan the release for Nov. 12 and it will be compatible with Patch 11.1.? Appreciate all the work.

As of yet there are no plans to expand the 2011 database to level 16. In order to provide the greatest detail and accuracy we will not go further then level 11. After we have released the level 11 version and its working satisfactory we might discuss the possibilities to go further down the pyramid.

Yes, if there is enough people wanting it we would consider it but the amount of machines who would be able to use that file wouldn't be to many at all.

Does anyone know if SI have fixed it so that the FA cup can be reorganised without messing up the round names (3rd becoming 5th, etc), and whether non-league teams can exit participation of non league cups on promotion to professional leagues?

You just add extra qualifying rounds.

I am curious to see whether to resolve the problem of the cups. example if I take l oxford that plays in BSP and it plays oxford premier cup but in the moment in which is promoted he should not play it anymore but only the team reserves

This will be awesome. Cant Wait!

I have a question though. I used superbladesmans update on fm 10 and did a game but i had a lot of issues from season 2 and 3 which spoiled the games for me and i ended up not continuing. i dont know if any one else experienced the same issues as at the time i could not find anything but i wondered if these issues were sorted.

Basically after about 2 seasons it was no longer possible to give out squad numbers to players in any division all the way up to the premier league and some of the squad registrations appeared to become strange with players not being elligable for games they should have been. The cup competitions were the main issue though. the F.A cup became a real mess and the 5th round would still just be full of non-league teams. also some of the premier league and football league teams started taking part in the non-league cups. For example manchester united were playing in the cup for level 9 teams (or something like that) so by january they had only played 10premier league games but they had been in tons of cup games. this happened with a few teams.

You just add extra qualifying rounds.

It didn't work like that on FM10, SB had to rename the lower rounds and add rounds on, so that the 3rd round was, in the game, called the 5th round, etc. So I was wondering if preliminary qualifying was an option this year, rather than something that needs a workaround. Again.

Thaks and good luck to those who have taken this on for FM11.

Does the editor now allow for specific numbers of promotions/relegations for each league or is it still done by each level?

I can help out with Midland Football Alliance (Step 10) changes and also with other Leicestershire sides.

So Super Bladesman, how come you're not taking this on again for this year?

SB is to busy this year to carry on what he did with the file so passed it on to me and the community so we could carry on his excellent work.

If I can go by the demo for FM11, the ingame competitions will be editable, so you can add the extra rounds and call them by their proper names.

Billionaire Robert Rich to plough part of fortune into Bedlington Terriers. (Guardian.co.uk)

With an estimated fortune of around $2bn, Rich has the wealth to have followed the recent trend of transatlantic investment in the Premier League. But instead, the chairman of the Rich Products Corporation (which specialises in "baked goods, desserts, barbecued meats, and Italian cuisine"), chose the Northumberland side currently seventh in the ninth tier of English football.

Only in this morning's papers but will you include this in your update? Would make an interesting game.

Sounds like he's taking an honorary position and isn't actually putting anything particular in.

Lol probably. But he is starting with a £30k scoreboard so that's a start at that level! Could have brought a new team for that sum....

I would of thought we would put this in the game if SI hasn't already.

One thing I noticed when playing as Brislington in SB's FM10 update.

Whenever I drew an FA Vase game, it went to a replay after 90 mins. IRL, the Competition Rules state if a tie is level after 90 mins, there will be 30 mins ET. If still level, it gets replayed. However, the rules permit the teams to agree beforehand that it can go straight to pens after ET in the first game, and not replay.
