Worthing district: source wiki

the Worthing and District League is effectively at level 12 despite its official Step 7/level 11 status.

West sussex league: source wiki

West Sussex Football League is a football competition in England. the Premier Division, sits at level 12 of the English football league system. It is a feeder to the Sussex County League Division Three. However, officially it is designated as a step 7 (or level 11) league.

mid-sussex football league: source wiki

While Step 7 usually corresponds to level 11 of the English football league system, it is a feeder to the Sussex County League Division Three, another Step 7 league, so in practice, the top level of the MSFL is level 12.

East sussex football league: source wiki

While as a Step 7 league, the Premier Division is technically on the same level as the Sussex County League Division Three, in practice it is a level below.

Brighton hove and district: Source wiki

When starting a new game, it's recommended you tick 'Add key staff'. That way the players generated in the bottom tiers will be a mixture of ages, rather than all being 16 or so You should also make sure you run all available levels in your chosen file - i.e. if you only want to run to level 8, you MUST use the Level 8 file AND enable all leagues to level 8 when you start your new game.

Activation

1. Copy the file to the Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\editor data folder in your My Documents folder.

2. Load FM2011

3. Select ‘Preferences’ and go to the ‘Display/Sound’ tab. UNTICK use skin cache. TICK ‘Always Reload Skin on Confirm’

4. When completed, leave preferences and ‘Start A New Game’

5. In the dialog window that pops up, TICK the change box.

6. Select the LATEST file in the list, if not already. Deselect ALL OLD VERSIONS!

7. Start a new game as normal, selecting the lowest level that you want to have active.

If you have any issues, make sure you've read the http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/233209-Football-Manager-2011-New-Editor-Features-FAQ.

As seen on :-

Well after all the work everybody is putting in wouldn't want our work stealing and somebody else passing it off as their own.

Have you ever thought of maybe implementing Leagues such as Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man into this file? I only say that as I am currently working on a Channel Islands update myself and would have any info you would need for such league; plus they all actually fall under the jurisdiction of the FA and are ranked at level 7 in our football pyramid, so indeed could produce some decent standard players etc. Obviously I know you have loads of work on with this as it is, but just an idea :)

If it is an English league, it should be in it, I think.

Well effectively the Isle of Man and both Channel Islands are separate 'countries' being British crown dependencies, but they all fall under the jurisdiction of the Fa and work in the same way that county FA's for example Wiltshire would work. Pretty sure I read somewhere that the leagues are rated at level 7 in our own structure, so a decent standard.

This was a major problem for me last year - happened several times :(

It put a real downer on what was otherwise a great success.

Yeh, what he said.... never seen an upload on here...

Thats because he made it purely for himself.

I don't think really there is anyway to stop it but i'll try my best :)

Is it not possible to do 2 files that can be run in unison, one with the 'normal' English league structure and the other with the CI stuff on so the user has a choice as to whether they want to include it?

I am looking forward to it

No Metal its not

Why not?

If you recreate the entire English leagues, without adding the Channel Islands and then save it.

Then after that just reload it and work from that file, and include the Channel Islands league and save it again under another name.

If you make a league with 2 subdivisions, you can edit it to have 4 subdivisions. Am I right? So why is the above not possible?

Make sure you join the Facebook group to meet the people behind this new update AND to hear news on the file before anybody else :)

Since you're releasing a first version a week after the game is released, can I presume that Editor Files for FM10 are compatible with FM11?

We don't know for sure yet but we are guessing its more than likely.

Sadly it looks like it won't be the case. This was taken from another thread...

I've not seen that announced anywhere. It would seem odd - things like the media/journalist packs I did for FM09 were compatible (with some minor tweaks) with FM10.

Release is still on track for the 12th Nov, but as the game is not released in North America until 9th Nov, we may have to look at knocking back the date by a few days, just to make sure everything is as upto date as we can possibly get it....and obviously to check for any bugs etc.

I look forward to this. I enjoyed rectifying our failure to get promoted by going up on FM10, and it's nice to feel that my research has some relevance to someone.

I'll have a look at what I have on my home PC and forward on anything I have. I have a feeling I've deleted a lot from my PC, but I should still have everything that was sent to the email address I set up. RTC: PM me your email address and I will see what I can sort out.

I'd also thoroughly recommend getting hold of a copy of the Non-League Club Directory 2011, if you haven't already. I also looked at a lot of the local county FA websites for researching the smaller cups as well.

right, over on FM Base, I am approaching a similar project, with aims for Level 21. Let me know it to you now, I won't copy any of your work

Why level 21 ?

Most PC's won't be able to take that.

Unlike my work (amongst others) last year, which FM Base were quite happy to pilfer.

Seems like FM Base are quite good at stealing work.

This is incorrect. The game is released om 11-5 just like elsewhere.
