I keep conceding late goals!!!!

I'm managing Charlton and have thrown away around 4 wins by letting in late goals. How can I stop this?????

Time waste, bring on more defensive players. Do this with about 10 minutes to go.

Turn on timewasting, set your central midfielders to more defensive, try changing to a 4-5-1 formation and also maybe bring on a quick, skillfull player who can attack there defense as there defensive line will be high and there midfielders will be high up the pitch.

I think fresh legs are vital. the 'Contain' strategy also helps to kill the game

dont to it too early but dont do it too late if your leading comfortably like 3-0 dont do it. but you have to judge whens the best time to do it.

In my experience subbing on a defender in the 75th minute and adding contain, retain ball and clear ball to flanks works well.

The concentration of your defence is crucial, mine is poor so they can be prone to conceding later on. The higher the concentration the less chance of late goals against you.

I normally crank up time wasting at around 85 minutes, make subs around the 65-70 minute mark. If I am playing a dangerous team I will play narrower and retain poccession.

This seems to work a fair bit, although when momentum is with the other siide siometimes I find myself sitting back and praying!
