Kaje
I joined Birmingham in the 2011/2012 season with them mid table and 20 points off top with 10 games left after leaving Bradford City. I managed to drag them up to win the title in those last 10 games! A bit of wheeler-dealing saw me able to bring in some top quality signings for the 2012/13 campaign. pelicanstuff
I'm Maidstone in the Conference South at the start of the 2011/12 season. I finished 7th in the 1st Division last season, before this years improvement. I don't see us winning the play-offs, so I expect to be in this division next season, and I'd expect to be promoted automatically if we are. Some Guy!
Slowly built up a good team of regens. Now in season 2025/26 GK: Peretez LB: Jimmy Williams RB: Ali Ihsan Akin CB: Simon Barratt CB: Nick White MC: Jesus Gutierrez MC: Dede LM: Jamie Taylor RM: Diego Lo Cicero ST: Ben Bradbury ST: Simon Gillett S1: Jung-Kyoo Kim (DC) S2: Stefano Capaciolli (DC/MC) S3: Angel Miguel Jimenez (MC) S4: Lucas Herrera (RW) S5: Lee Peacock (RW) S6: Tony Talbot (ST) S7: Geoff Clark (ST) A few interesting stories there. Back in the early days injuries and just frustration forced me to play a young 16 year old Leftback from my youth team. One Jimmy Williams. Didn't put a foot wrong! He's been my leftback ever since, only been injured once or twice as well. Simon Gillett, the captain! He doesn't look on paper anywhere near as good as he is. His record currently stands as 444 played and 333 scored, now in his 11th season. Became a club legend at 20, and was named Captain at 21. After playing a friendly in Israel I noticed that their young (15 year old) was valued at £250. So for a joke I had a go... Sure enough, I signed my absolutely amazing keeper (when he turned 18) for £250. He's now the best keeper in the world! Simon Barratt also had a brother, Darren who also came through the youth team. He was rubbish though and retired. Ben Bradbury, who is now a key component of the club's playing style was initially up against it to get into the side. He had to compete with 3 very good players, two of which were club icons (and eventually legends) in Zubov (now retired) and Gillett. His 18 goals in 10 youth appearances and 14 goals in 18 reserve appearances at the age of 16 by January forced my hand though. He just demanded a spot! dudge7
I'm Maidstone in the Conference South at the start of the 2011/12 season. I've spent the last year putting together what's almost certainly the most talented team ever seen in the Conference South (no cheating and somehow under wage budget too). I've got a bit more depth but this would be my first 11 for a crucial match.................................Jake Cunningham..................................... Ed Harris (loan)....Sandy Hodge.....Robertino Rafaela......Neil Jenkins Jacinto...........Sammy Stewart......Ryan Stevenson.......Kevin Moffat .....................Dennis Wyness........Stephen Lennon...................... Hodge is probably the least talented player in the side but he was player of the season last year. Bench: Scott Bain, Jason Marr, Kevin Nicol, Lacine Cherif, Alex Titchener Is that Hearts' Ryan Stevenson? What a player for that level
brod_104
In addition to the Liverpool team I posted earlier, I've also got a Palermo save in Italy using the same formation, still in first season: GK: Salvatore Sirigu (waiting for Rubinho to come back off loan really, but he's doing OK) DR: Mattia Cassani DL: Federico Balzaretti DC: Jan Vertonghen (£8m from Ajax) DC: Simon Kjær MC: Fábio Simplicio MC: Giulio Migliaccio AMR: Javier Pastore (retraining him here) AML: Angel Di María (£14.5m from Benfica) ST: Fabrizio Miccoli ST: Edinson Cavani I desperately want to improve in central midfield and up front, but have absolutely zero budget left over. Club's currently £7m in the red, so I'm looking to sell some fringe players.
