FlUoReScEnT aDoLeScEnT
Welcome to the CSE Barclays premier league Sign up 2010-11. Good evening and welcome. With the already fantastic work going on over in the CSE World Cup i have decided to do a full scale Barclay's Premier League model for the 2010-2011 season. I will have all the correct fixtures as of today, any fixtures moved unfortunately cannot be changed mid season on football manager. I will require 20 forum members to play throughout the season, all randomly assigned a club, i will require a Name, Nationality, Age, Favourite Club, Etc for each participant.( See submission form below to sign up) I will play the games in real time as the land on Football manager, so the first fixture will be on the 14th August so the first submission of tactics will be required in August, however we will have friendlies in accordance with real life throughout July, including tours etc. The reason i am starting so early is mainly because of friendlies, but secondly to give you guys the chance to keep tabs on your assigned team and pick up on formations which they suit. I will post transfer news, injury updates, league tables amongst other things. Obviously those in the European compititions will have to play those games aswell and you will all participant in the Carling and FA Cup. Obviously the cup draws will not resemble real life, sorry. I currently plan to do the whole season on FM2010, however if i can quickly make a real fixture list for FM2011 upon its release i will try to transfer the situation on FM10 over to FM11.(Which will not be result perfect but it will be points, goals against, for, etc perfect.) So without anymore time wasting let us begin. Sign up form Name: Age: Nationality: Second Nationality: Fav Club: I will keep track of those signed up so just keep your post to just the sign up form if possible. If indeed there is mass desire from more than 20 members then i will consider holding to seperate leagues, 1 and 2. But that is only a back up plan. 1: WBA4LIFE - Fernie 2: Hrbfcrule - Alex Parker 3: Jack.Browne - Jack Browne 4: Bergtaur - Danilo Uljarevic 5: Ssestig - Theo Stigarakis 6: Elnaith - Danny Facey 7: DB1 - Davidus Solo 8: Joetheref - Joe Tompkins 9: Uffe Johansson - Ulf Johansson 10: MattFergie - Matt Ferguson 11: JonoMUFFC - Jono D 12: Samb 95 - Sam Bellamy 13: SJ234 - Jose Rodriguez 14: Chris 23 - chris petty 15: Almondo - Dave Lister 16: whoopy d - whoopy dee'e 17: Loojay - Chris lewis 18: cookie15 - marcus van der cook 19: toonbalmy - arron balmer 20: Kenco - Ken Co

FlUoReScEnT aDoLeScEnT
Right Kenco is in, in place of Danimal. The teams and their new managers are as follows Arsenal Will be managed by... ... WBA4LIFE, who will take control of the London club in the aim of guiding them to champions league and premier league glory. The squad is young, and boasts one of, if not the best central midfielder in the world in the presence of Cesc Fabregas, but the spaniards future is up in the air with Catalan giants track his movements and already having a bid rejected. Will he stay or will he go? Only time will tell, either way the aim for the club will still be to secure the league title and a first champions league title whilst fighting off the leagues pretenders in the shape of Manchester City, Aston Villa and local rivals Tottenham hotspur. Aston Villa Will be managed by... ... Bergtaur. Bergtaur will be tasked with guiding the club into the 4th champions league spot the fans and the owner so desperately desire. Three consecutive qualifications for the Europa League have set the club up for a Champions league challenge but can they deliver? Birmingham City Will be managed by... ... Elnaith. The Birmingham based club enjoyed a fantastic return to the top flight last season, but the question is can they build on what they did the campaign just gone? With a new goalkeeper in Ex-Manchester United youngster Ben Foster brought in to replace the brilliant Joe Hart who has returned to his paretn club, Manchester City, and also bringing in 6ft 6" Serbain world Cup star, Nikola Zigic to add fire power to their front line can they push up the table and snatch a Europa League place, or will they suffer from the second season curse so many promoted clubs suffer from? Blackburn Rovers Will be managed by... ... DB1. The northwest club, were once title challenges but have since fell of the track and now find themselves in constant midtable obscurity, having lost star man Roque Santa cruz a season ago to money bags Manchester City and failed to replace him can they be guided further up the table or will they continue to fall away from the upper echoloens which they were of only a few seasons ago? Blackpool Will be managed by... ... SJ234. The new boys of the league after an amazing season in championship and a triumphant play-off campaign. But can they cut the mustard with the big boys? Can Taylor-Fletcher guide them to safety and onto greatness. We will have to wait and see but one thing is guarenteed from the seasiders, a cracking away tie. Bolton Wanderers Will be managed by... ...Samb 95. Another club from the northwest of England, the club has flirted with relegation for many seasons now, and under several managers since Sam Allardyce left for Newcastle way back in 2007. With his departure, went key player Nicholas Anelka to Chelsea and the money recieved hasn't been wisely invested, if invested at all. They will no doubt be one of the favourites to go down this season but can Samb 95 rescue them in the coming season. Chelsea FC Will be managed by... ...Joetheref. The current Premier league and FA Cup holders. Have a squad full of depth but with departure of Michael Ballack and Joe Cole, can they find replacements to help steer the club towards successive titles and possibly more. They have some of the world's best players in Didier Drogba, Petr Cech and John Terry and are always there or there abouts when it comes down to the end of the season. Everton Will be managed by... ... Almondo. The merseyside club enjoyed a mixed season last time out. Starting extremely poorly but build up confidence and coming close to European football. If they can get the right start this time around, and get the same results after christmas then we may well see Everton in the champions league standings come May. They have some of the premier league's best yet most underrated players in Tim Cahill, Mikel Arteta and Luis Saha so they have quality throughout the pitch but they face problems holding onto young stars like Dan Gosling and Jack Rodwell with premier league big boys Manchester United and Manchester City circling for their next generation players. Fulham FC Will be managed by... ... Whoopy D. Fulham enjoyed a extremely succesful european campaign last season, reaching their first european cup final in the club history, however with that success their league form suffered slightly and they didn't perform domestically as they would have wished. Can Whoopy return them to their European standings or even further. The boast one of the premier leagues best 'keepers in Mark schwarzer and have a solid spine through the team, in Brede Hangeland, Danny Murphy and Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora. Liverpool FC Will be managed by... ... Kenco. The merseyside club have enjoyed vast success in their long spanning history, however they are staring a poor future in the face. With last seasons dissapointing 7th place finish, a lack of trophies and the possible loss of star players like Fernando Torres, Javier Mascherano and Captain Steven Gerrard over the summer. Can Kenco lead the failing scouse club back to their rightful place amongst the leagues elites. Manchester City Will be managed by... ...Mattfergie. The real Manchester club, will be looking to build on their 5th place finish of last term. They have the cash resources and the infrastructure which a massive clubs requires but can they change the team from being a band of individuals to a full tuned, working, single goal machine. With Carlos Tevez leading the line and Vicent Kompant, Nigel De Jong and Joe Hart aiming to keep the rear secure who can say they are not real contenders this time around. Adding players like Jerome Boateng and possibly David Silva, Marik Hamsik and the rest they are looking a sure thing for a champions league spot. Manchester united Will be managed by... ... Chris 23 The 'other' Manchester team . They finished second last season and didn't win anything besides that 'micky mouse' cup they don't care about. But despite their general lack of succes last term they are one of the best teams around. Many people thought the sale onf Cristiano Ronaldo and the lack of invest of that money would signal the end of Manchester United's love affair with all things silver. But it wasn't they still came close on all fronts and this season with some investment(which seems unlikely with the debts they carry.) they will most likely be there at the end of the season. Newcastle United Will be managed by... ...Cookie 15. The Tyneside club have slowly gone down hill since that famous speech 'I'd love it if we beat them' and things just get worse the ownership of the club, the failure of Sam Allardyce, the purchase of Joey Barton, the return of 'king kev' and the ominous exit of the same man the came relegation and the battles to oust their owner and the failure to do so. But they came back up last season, after running the show back in the championship but can they survive with no cash, no decent players and no real owner. Stoke City Will be managed by... ... Ssestig The club has taken massive strides in the last couple of season and have some amazing players and a not so secret weapon unlike many other teams. Accused by many of one track football, boring football and defeating the object of the game itself. Stoke have their enemies but equally they have their supporters. They do play some boring, one track football but it works and at the end of the day its the point which matter. They do have some good players aswell in Ryan Shawcross, Ricardo Fuller, James Beattie, Rory Delap and the rest. Can they push up the table or just settle for what they have? Sunderland Will be managed by... ...Loojay The have performed greatly in the last couple of seasons, being far from the relegation fodder which many touted them as. They have invested vast ammounts of cash in players like Darren Bent and Craig Gordon and have seen a return like no other. Darren Bent will lead the line, but can they secure the backdoor and push up the league this season? Tottenham Hotspur Will be managed by... ... Jack Browne the west London club will be looking for champions league success, and retaining their place in the champions league freshhold. They justly pipped Manchester City to the 4th and final spot last season and with players like Ledley King, Wilson Palsicos, Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Defoe amongst others they have a great chance of success. West Bromwish Albion Will be managed by... ... Hrbfcrule. The baggies will be looking to avoid going straight back down to the championship, but they do have the offical title of premier league yoyo team. They will need to bring in alot of fresh faces to keep up with some of the other teams around the league and the need to do it fast. West Ham United Will be managed by... ... Toonbalmy Another team from the London area. Apparently everyone at the club except Scott Parker are up for sale but seemingly nobody wants them so they have a squad including alot of rejects. The do have England players Matthew Upson and the laughing stock of the world cup laughing stock Robert Green. This time around avoiding relegation will be a success. Wigan Athletic Will be managed by... ...JonoMUFC. The latics are somewhat of a surprise team, on a good day they can beat the likes of Chelsea but on a bad day...they will be hammered 9-1 of Tottenham. At home the tend to difficult to break down and look dangerous on the counterattack. The sport the legend that is Titus Bramble who has taken an unexpected turn for the good and gone from unpredictable, mistake ridden defensive clamity to defensive rock. a top half finish will be deemed an amazing success, yet relegation would be something the club is far better than. Wolverhampton Wanderers Will be managed by... ...Uffe Johansson. Another surprise package from last season, they are hard to beat at home and are a stuborn team for anyone to over turn. With Marcus Hahnemann between the sticks, and Kevin Doyle up top they are a threat to anyone but can they supersede their final position from last season and move up the pecking order.
