Might as well post stuff here instead of your individual threads then.

I noticed in Chris' updates, he changes the contracts of players such as Tevez, so we can buy them right away, but Forbsie doesn't do this. So if you've decided, which way is it going to be in the joint database?

Someone in Chris' thread asked are Valencia's finances going to be changed due to the David Villa sale. As far as I know, they still have alot of debt, so should the money be added to their transfer funds or to clear debt?

Some transfer stuff:

- Morten Gamst Pedersen has signed a new four year deal at Blackburn

- Seamus Coleman has signed a new four year deal at Everton

- West Brom have signed Gabriel Tamas

- Mikel San Jose from Liverpool to Athletic Bilbao

- Portsmouth released Angelos Basinas, Jamie Ashdown, Steve Finnan and Omar Koroma

- Theofanis Gekas from Leverkusen to Frankfurt

Both of you put alot of work into your updates, so I can't wait for the joint database.

Amazing, Could you do a release after the play offs finish? I wouldn't mind doing a new save where i can do all the close season myself after all the promotions are decided. Obviously a lot of the finances have changed. Birmingham Sunderland and Wolves should have a fair bit to spend this summer. Could be some good games to do. I just want to bring Robbie Keane back to Molineux. I can dream.

Tranmere Rovers sign midfielder Joss Labadie

Tranmere have signed loan midfielder Joss Labadie on a permanent deal after he was released by West Brom.

The 19-year-old spent the last month of the season at Prenton Park and after scoring three goals in nine games, has earned a two-year contract.

I've used both your updates frequently and they're up there with the all-time most accurately updated, so this merging (or is it a 'coalition' in this current political climate.. :D) of your combined forces as it were is great news.

Though I've heard here that some stat changing has been done, so I have to ask, is there any chance of a no stats/PA/CA changes version of the db? :D

The African Cup of Nations is moving to odd numbered years - we will have a tournament in 2012, then another just a year later in 2013 with the exact same teams as 2012 so they don't have to fit in another qualifying campaign, and then every odd numbered year from then onwards. It will still be in January, and will no longer share qualifiers with the World Cup, it will have its own. Also, Togo are banned from the 2012 and 2013 tournaments for government interference when they withdrew from the 2010 tournament.
