i changed my team to pass shorter i did not see much of a diffrence i guess as i had never set it for the players.so i have set all my attacking players to pass the ball short is this good.

like is that now how barca and aresnal play football with short passes.

Your other tactical settings might be overriding short passing. Try 'Retain Possession' and 'Work ball into Box' instructions during match and you can more short-passing.

EDIT: Also set "Through Balls" to Often for your MC/AMC.

It only works well if you've got the players and the pitch for it. If you've got a poor pitch then lots of balls will go astray and likewise without the players.

Also if you're playing on a massive pitch with a wide formation your players won't have many short passing opportunities.
