Recommended Posts

Who are ya?

Liversedge F.C. are a football club based in Liversedge, near Cleckheaton, England, on the border with Hightown in Liversedge and members of the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division for the 2009–10 season.

Liversedge play their home games at Clayborn, which features a clubhouse to the top West corner of the ground, covered seating at the North, and small covered terracing stand to the West behind the goal. Prior to the 2004–05 season the ground had a large slope from the North to the South. The pitch was dug up in closed season of 2005, and the surface was rebuilt from scratch to make a new, flat field. Liversedge had to play their first few games away for the 2005–06 season while the turf bedded in.

Liversedge have been close to promotion into a higher league, including the 2005-2006 season, when they finished runners-up to Buxton and won the League Cup in addition. However, there were not sufficient facilities for promotion to the UniBond League. They did not have separate changing rooms for female referees.

The team

They only have several players in the game:

James Coubrough- Right midfielder who came through the academy at Sheffield Wednesday. Since then he's played for a number of clubs in the Yorkshire non-league scene.

Brook Newton- Left midfielder who previously played for Ossett Town.

Lee Ryan- Central midfieler previously with Harrogate Railway and Harrogate Town.

Paul Helliwell- Previously with Thackley and Bradford Park Avenue, this attacking winger has bags of ability at this level.

Danny Clapham- Came through the Huddersfield youth system. The striker can score goals and was unlucky not to make a career at Huddersfield.

Reccomended players

Tyler Devlin- A young striker from Curzon would provide valuble cover up front.

Luke Baker- Woking youngster would be key in midfield.

Charlie Turball- Another Woking youngster who would also be key in the midfield area.

*To play as Liversedge you must download Super Bladesmans full league structure.
