I also had a weird Goalkeeper of the year away, although in Spain, my GK had the most clean sheets, best average rating and fewest goals conceded (league only of course) and yet he finished 3rd), the 2nd player was the average one, but still better than the winner, the winner was horrible, like 70ish goals conceded and 6.xx rating and fewer clean sheets than both my GK and the other one.. Benitez - 1st in league, FA cup sixth round, league cup quarter final Wenger - 4th in league, FA cup third round, league cup winners (that's probably it then) Ancelotti - 3rd in league, FA cup sixth round, league cup semi final Myself - 2nd in league, FA cup third round, league cup 4th round Still gutted to have even lost to Wenger tho, seeing as I'm 11 points ahead of them, and just because he won the league cup Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

earmack Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 in real life youd of got it for sure. Awards are at best..inconsistant, at worst they are compeltely broken. I guess its tougher for managers but the problems with the awards for players is a joke (is average rating > 9, is goal scored > 38. doesnt seem hard to me).
