canvey!!
Henry Adeyemi: Good evening, Ryan! Ryan Nelsen: Good evenin’, buddy, how ya’ doing? Henry Adeyemi: It’s all going swimmingly here where I am. Ryan Nelsen: Well, I’m over in Abuja, and everyone seems really excited about the tournament. Henry Adeyemi: Excellent. That’s what we like to hear! Ryan Nelsen: Okay, here are the votes from our near and dear Nigeria: 7: Comoros 6: Gabon 5: Togo 4: Botswana 3: Uganda 2: Somalia 1: Cameroon Ryan Nelsen: And here are the whoppers: 8 points go to…Zambia! 10 points go to……Rwanda! 12 points go to… …Cape Verde! Ryan Nelsen: Cheers, Henry. We’ll be seein’ you in the Final. Henry Adeyemi: Thanks Ryan. Karl Unpingco’s Cape Verde take twelve, but more importantly, Jack Browne’s Rwanda take ten and go top. Tom Smith’s Botswana and Matt Ferguson’s Somalia are eliminated. Henry Adeyemi: Lagos calling Dakar! Senegal: Good evening Nigeria! Henry Adeyemi: Senegal look likely to progress. Senegal: And that is excellent news! Henry Adeyemi: Okay, Senegal, your votes… Senegal: 7: Gabon 6: Botswana 5: Cape Verde 4: Comoros 3: Zambia 2: Tanzania 1: Rwanda Senegal: 8 points go to…Congo! 10 points go to……DR Congo! 12 points go to… …Cameroon! Senegal: Thank you Nigeria! Henry Adeyemi: Thanks Senegal. Liam Ferguson’s Cameroon receive a boost with twelve points from Senegal, but is it enough to put them back in the running. The two Congoes get ten and eight points, which should put them a lot closer to the finish line. Let’s take a look at the latest table. Henry Adeyemi: Tanzania, Cape Verde and Zambia join Botswana and Somalia in being unable to qualify for the Final. Tom Hamilton’s Comoros, who vote next, are also unable to finish fifth or higher. Jack Browne’s Rwanda, however, have booked their passage through. Over to Moroni then!

chopper99
Could this be the year that DR Congo actually make a final? Or, even better, both Congo's make the final. That would be fantastic. It's a shame I can no longer influence the votes, or I would be offering bribes.

canvey!!
Henry Adeyemi: Nigeria calling Comoros! Michael Venter: Good evening Henry! Henry Adeyemi: It’s veteran Comoros vote-giver, Michael Venter! Michael Venter: That’s right, and I show no signs of stopping! Henry Adeyemi: Now, unfortunately, Comoros have been eliminated from this year’s tournament. Do you think they’ll ever reach a Final? Michael Venter: There’s always hope, Henry, there’s always hope. Henry Adeyemi: Well, Michael, it’s time for you to bring the second Afrovision Semi-Final to a close. Michael Venter: Of course. The votes from Comoros: 7: Rwanda 6: Uganda 5: Cape Verde 4: Cameroon 3: Gabon 2: Somalia 1: Togo Michael Venter: And Comoros’ biggest votes: 8 points go to…Senegal! 10 points go to……Congo! 12 points go to… …Tanzania! Michael Venter: That’s all, folks! Henry Adeyemi: Thank you Michael. Those were the votes from Comoros, and Thelonius Davis’s Tanzania take twelve points. Unfortunately, it’s too late for them, but let’s see how the other nations finished. Henry Adeyemi: David Dodgson’s Congo, Ricky Nakano’s Senegal, Craig Hopper’s DR Congo and Liam Ferguson’s Cameroon join Jack Browne’s Rwanda, as well as Mali, Gambia, Egypt, Angola and Algeria, in the Final. Togo and Tanzania come close, but fall short. Henry Adeyemi: Thank you for joining us tonight. See you tomorrow night for the last Semi-Final! Writer's Notes: Uganda got 8 points from Rwanda. Comoros got no 8-pointers.

canvey!!
Arise, O Compatriots, for Semi-Final 3! Henry Adeyemi: Good evening everybody and welcome back to the Afrovision Managerial Contest! I promise a good show for all those here tonight, and all those watching via BATRACER. Henry Adeyemi: Last night, we saw Rwanda, Congo, Senegal, DR Congo and Cameroon fight off nine other nations to get into the Final. Tonight, another fourteen nations will be competing for the remaining five places in that Final. The nations in this Semi-Final have given their colleagues 12, 10, 8 and 7 through 1 points for their national football teams’ performances over the past twelve months. The five teams that pick up the most points will reach the Final. Henry Adeyemi: South Africa and Guinea failed to submit votes, so they have been docked twelve points. Chad neither submitted votes for the Semi-Final, nor for last year’s Final, and lose twenty-four. Mauritania lose twelve points for not voting last year, and a further six points for giving incorrect votes this year. With that in mind, how do the teams start? Henry Adeyemi: We’ll be starting out east, with Seychelles and Mauritius!

Kenco
No Final for Gabon this year, for two main reasons: 1. canvey!!
@Kenco: Gabon played two games for World Cup 2010 Qualifying, against Lesotho and Libya. And anyway, you're hosting the Cup of African Nations, so next year is your year. Henry Adeyemi: Nigeria calling Equatorial Guinea… Guus Hiddink: Hello, Mr Adeyemi. Henry Adeyemi: Guus Hiddink? You’re still representing Equatorial Guinea? Guus Hiddink: That’s right. Henry Adeyemi: Well, I guus you’d better give us their votes then. Guus Hiddink: 7: Côte d’Ivoire 6: Chad 5: Eritrea 4: Lesotho 3: Mauritius 2: Guinea 1: Burundi Guus Hiddink: 8 points go to…Morocco! 10 points go to……Niger! 12 points go to… …South Africa! Guus Hiddink: Thank you Nigeria. Goodnight. Henry Adeyemi: Thank you Equatorial Guinea. Well, he seemed upbeat. Matt Lepino’s South Africa get twelve points, while Ben Cee’s Niger pick up the decade – could they both sneak into the Final after a sudden upsurge in performance? At the bottom, Chad clear their deficit, but it is too late for them, and Burundi become the third nation eliminated. Henry Adeyemi: And now we go over to our neighbours in Niger… Mr T.: Good evening, Henry! Henry Adeyemi: Hang on, didn’t you just give the votes for-? Mr T.: I pity the fool who accuses me of representing more than one nation! Henry Adeyemi: But- Mr T.: The votes from Niger: 7: Guinea 6: Eritrea 5: Mozambique 4: Lesotho 3: Equatorial Guinea 2: Seychelles 1: Mauritania Mr T.: And the biggies: 8 points go to…Morocco! 10 points go to……Côte d’Ivoire! 12 points go to… …Chad! Mr T.: See you in the Final! Henry Adeyemi: Ah, well, okay. Wow. Erm…Hryhorri Zahorchak’s Chad pick up the maximum of twelve points, not that it will do them any good. Even with all but one nation having voted, Lawrence Lazewski’s Mauritania remain in negative figures. Let’s look at the penultimate table. Henry Adeyemi: Seychelles, Lesotho and Equatorial Guinea leave the contest, but at the top, dafuge’s Mozambique have sealed their Final place. canvey!!
Henry Adeyemi: Nigeria calling Morocco! Marouane Chamakh: Good evening Nigeria! Henry Adeyemi: Ah, it’s Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh! How are you? Marouane Chamakh: I’m good, thank you, Henry, and I’m glad that Morocco are in the Final. Henry Adeyemi: Yes, good work. Well, there are three more Final places up for grabs, and it’s your job to settle them. Marouane Chamakh: Of course. Here are the votes from Morocco: 7: Guinea 6: Eritrea 5: Equatorial Guinea 4: Mauritania 3: Chad 2: Niger 1: Mauritius Maroaune Chamakh: And our three biggest votes: 8 points go to…South Africa! 10 points go to……Mozambique! 12 points go to… …Côte d’Ivoire! Marouane Chamakh: Thank you very much Henry. See you for the Final. Henry Adeyemi: Thank you Marouane. Wow, he’s very polite. It looks like Morocco’s highest votes have gone to nations in the top five area, so let’s see how their decisive ballot has left things. Henry Adeyemi: Albert Holstein’s Côte d’Ivoire, Matt Lepino’s South Africa, and Chip Butty’s Guinea are all helped into the Final by Didier Dardon’s Morocco, meaning Niger miss out, among others. Henry Adeyemi: Thank you to viewers via BATRACER, as well as those in the arena tonight. Tomorrow evening there is a special covering the wonderful city of Lagos, and following that, the third annual Afrovision Managerial Contest Final kicks off! Writer’s Notes: Mauritius got 12 points from Seychelles. Eritrea got no 12-pointers.

BenArsenal
Niger 'crushed and broken' after missing out (again) The nation of Niger are in mourning after missing out on the Afrovision Managerial Contest Finals narrowly for the third campaign in a row. The latest loss is especially heartbreaking as it was to be hosted by neighbours and close allies Nigeria. Spokesperson Mr.T, who announced Niger's votes in the latest semi-fiinal, said, "That ain't right! That ain't right at all! I pity the fools who didn't vote for Niger!" The people of Niger were also in a state of despair, proclaiming, "What have we got to do to make the finals? We've gotten so close but missed out each time!" chopper99
Mr T not happy, and who can blame him. I'dlove to sympathise, but I'm too happy at DR Congo being in their first ever final. *Happy dance*
canvey!!
Sorry about the wait! The Final The time has come to vote for the Final! Apologies for my taking so long to get this up – my life has been seriously hectic of late. A\s I write this, I am sat on a train and as there is no way I can work on anything to do with the outside world, I have the opportunity to get this written. Just like last year and the year before, everybody votes in the Final. The sixteen managers lucky enough to have their nations in the Final each allocate 12, 10, 8 and then 7 through 1 points to their opponents. The other managers, whose nations failed to qualify, can choose to award these points to any of the sixteen nations as they please. Obviously duplicating votes (that is, giving one nation two scores) is not allowed, and will incur a six-point penalty. Similarly, incorrect voting such as voting for a nation not in the Final, will result in six points’ being deducted. If you fail to send me your votes, you will lose 12 points. Without further ado, here are the nations in the Final. Award points based on their national football teams’ performances, as well as any biasing factors such as their managers, their location, the Semi-Final they were in, or even the letter of the alphabet with which they begin. Once you have made up your mind, PM me your votes.
