psychonaut
Wow, a really brief stay at TNS! But when a club like Boro come calling you can hardly say no. Good luck at the Riverside Cheers. TNS qualified for the Champs League group stages again. This time they'll get thrashed by Man U, CSKA Sofia, and Galatasaray. Must be due to move up another 288 places in the European club rankings.

psychonaut
2014-2015 ====Middlesbrough==== COCA-COLA CHAMPIONSHIP I'll spare you all the Club History stuff, as Middlesbrough should be fairly well known (or you can visit www.mfc.premiumtv.co.uk) Season Summary Arrived at The Riverside Stadium to high expectations. The media, board, and fans were all expecting an immediate return to the Premier League. With a team of quality players, that's what I aimed for. At times it seemed like an easy ride, but nerves must have got to the players towards the end of the season, and we were losing to bottom half clubs. The division went right down to the wire, with promotion and the title decided on the last day of the season. It was a 3 horse race. Leeds were 1st, we were 2nd, Hull were 3rd - we were all on 94 points. The only thing separating us was goal difference. Our final game was against Leeds, but sadly we drew 2-2. Fortunately, Hull drew their last match too (if they'd won we would have finished 3rd). Leeds were Champs, we were 2nd, and Hull 3rd. Back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, but I'd rather we'd had won the division too. Anyway, promotion will do us One priceless highlight of the season for all Boro fans was seeing The Magpies relegated to League One Final League Table Season Progress Cups FA Cup: 3rd Round. Lost 5-3 vs Wolves. League Cup: 4th Round. Lost 5-2 vs Fulham. Squad Overpaid. The wage balance was way over budget, and dragging the team towards administration. Quite a few players in on loan, and any signings I made were either frees or loans. One loanee from Aston Villa impressed me greatly with his eye for goal - Ruben Rochina. Sadly, I fell foul of loans rules, and lost him for the last 2 months of the season. Will be looking to either sign or loan him for next season. I'm a bit annoyed with many of my squad at the end of the season. They know the club is strapped for cash, but won't sign more reasonable contracts - I guess it shows their true loyalty to the club when they won't take a 25% pay cut. I expect an exodus in the summer, but it'll free up a big chunk of the wage budget, and allow me to strengthen the squad for the Premier League. Top Goalscorer: 18 - Vedad Ibisevic. Fans Player of the Year: Darren Barr. All Transfer Activity New Club Records Highest Scoring League Game: 5-2 vs QPR (CH) Total Transfer Income: £16,000,000. psychonaut
2015-2016 ====Middlesbrough & Fulham==== English Premier Season Summary Ok, so the plan was to ensure that Middlesbrough's return to the Premier League lasted more than 1 year. Well, things were going fine, until November. The team were playing some nice football. And there my time at Middlesbrough ended... When Fulham came calling with a £20.5k p/w wage packet, I was there like a flash. Club loyalty out the window then. So, it was off to Craven Cottage for me. League The board asked me to avoid relegation, and that's what they got by the skin of our collective teeth. On the last day of the season, we were in the relegation zone, level on points with Birmingham who had a better goal difference. Lady Luck shone on us, as we drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace, and Birmingham lost 2-0. We were staying up, finishing 17th. Middlesbrough finished one place above us. League Table Season Progress Cups FA Cup: 3rd Rnd. Lost 3-2 vs Man United. League Cip: 3rd Rnd. Lost 5-0 vs Arsenal. Squad Fairly good squad at Fulham. Just a shame about the football. Had to get a couple of loan signings in, as there was no money for transfer fees. Loanees were mediocre at best. Will need to rebuild the squad for next season if we're going to finish any higher than this season. Top Scorer: 7 - Felipe Caicedo...With only 7 goals, he's not much of a striker. psychonaut
2016-2017 ====FULHAM==== ENGLISH PREMIER Season Summary Quite a good season, considering our stature, and near miss with relegation last season. The players seemed more hungry for success, and tried hard to secure a European place. But, as always, the big guns shot us down, although sometimes our lack of on-field discipline didn't really help. In one match against West Ham, we were a disgrace - having 3 players sent off. The board wanted us to avoid relegation this season, and we delivered a mid-table finish (12th). They were delighted with my leadership skills, and the fans were happy too. Final Table Season Progress Cups FA Cup: 6th Rnd. Lost 4-1 vs Leeds United. League Cup: 4th Rnd. Lost 2-1 vs Crystal Palace. Squad A few comings and goings. For the first third of the season, the squad seemed to be misfiring. My strikers could not even have bought a goal from a pound shop. I'd brought in Danny Welbeck on loan from Manchester United, in the hope that he'd get some goals. He played 19 games for us, and scored once. Hence, I terminated his loan at New Year, and bought a hotshot called Zigoni from Club Brugge. He banged in the goals, and proved himself worthy of his £4.5M transfer fee. His arrival also boosted the team, with my other strikers finding form. Top Scorer: 15 - Ehsan Zamani. Fans Player of the Year: Kasigo Dikgacoi. All Transfer Activity. New Club Records Most Assists: 12 - Rubén Rochina. Worst Discipline: 9 Yellow/1 Red - Onyekachi Apam. Total Transfer Income: £16,000,000.
