'Natural' classification in a given position - Can it be developed?

This might not be appropriate for this section, but as it relates to players, I thought it would fit in well here.

On to the topic at hand, I bought Theo Walcott, and I'm almost certain he was an 'accomplished' AMR and a 'natural' striker, however he is now 'natural' in both positions.

So, have I gone crazy and was he always a natural AMR?

Or has he developed into a natural player in that position because that's where I've been playing him?

you can develop a player to be a natural in that position

That's quite interesting, I'm guessing that this can just happen through playing them in that position, as I haven't attempted to re-train Walcott as an AMR.

You can do so, but have to keep his training at the new position, which takes always 10% of his training as long as he is on it.
