REALGSA Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Hey guys Help me out I got a top of the range Mac book pro FM 09, the 3D view was slow and glitchy, so i just played 2d Now its fm 2010 and updated, I have 4 starts and 5 stars at the start. I played it in 3d mode and again same thing, its glitchey not fluid. Stops, starts etc, not like the play in 2d Is there anything I can do? pete111111 Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 I think all Mac users have had this problem and there has been no real fix so far. The best option (which has worked for me) is to upgrade to 10.5.8 (click on the apple in the top left and "about this mac" to double check you are upgraded) and then change the graphics settings to low and untick stadiums and crowd. I can watch games perfectly with these settings. Obviously it's be great to have everything else but I guess is makes little difference as I'm not playing the game to look at the stadiums. At first, it annoyed me but I couldn't care less now. I'm just glad I can watch in 3d! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
REALGSA Posted November 7, 2009 Author Share Posted November 7, 2009 ok thanks I ve treid it all, but no good, its still gltichy and un playable in 3d mode, I have MAX OS X 10.4.11 Sports interactive should of fixed this problem for mac users they knew about this from fm 09!! Seeing as though you have OS X 10.4 i'm guessing it's at least a few years old, so it doesnt have the nvidia graphics card which the new ones have. Mike Farley Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 I play with 10.6.1 My graphics card is NVidia 9400M I have 2GB of ram and despite the game giving my system a graphics rating of 1 star the match engine runs perfectly in 3D with all of the graphics setting ticked.
