Updated 08/12: Thanks Hardin for your testing with Wimbledon! You need to have: All players should have teamwork and workrate more than 10 depending the level and weather of your league! 2 Side Forwards: Pace, Acceleration, off the ball, technique, dribbling, crossing...then finishing 1 Middle Striker: Pace, Heading, Off the ball, Anticipation, composure, finishing, strength 2 AML/R: Pace, Acceleration, FIRST touch, dribbling, passing, crossing 1 midfielder can tackle and pass and hold the ball (strength, jumping, technique) 2 wingbacks can tackle and cross/pass 2 pacely defenders GK: Reflex, One on One, Aerial, Position, rushing out If the AI is breaking the offside trap, just pull the defensive line back and back until they don't have many one on one vs your keeper! The AI has 3 types of goals scoring against me: 1)crossing and head in - then you can set deeper d-line so that their crosses always hit the wingback and concede a corner only (which i concede 1 corner in the whole season!!!) 2)long shots - most difficult to defend against! However I tried to put the midfielder stand off more so that there is always a guy standing in front of the 2 or 3 midfielders to block the shots, so far it is working 'better', but not the best. Try also to set up OI on these midfielders! This has been improved by the latest tactics setting! 3)If AI plays only 1 striker, I always use OI to tight marking, and show on weaker foot. I tend to concede less goal... 21/11/09 Suggestion: -If the AI is trying some long shots(most likely the central midfielders), OI setting closing down often, hard tackle and show weaker foot -When you are in the lead (ie in the 75mins on), and want to protect it rather, team mentality set to normal, tempo to slow, high time wasting -If you are controling the game, but not scoring, try: wider width 30/11/09 Suggestion: If you are controlling the game, put up arrow in the Def mid. If you are doing OK, leave it as it is. If you are being attack, or playing tough away game: Mentality Normal or Defensive Tempo much slower Time wasting much higher Def mid: down arrow -Def corner setting: 2 wingbacks:mark small 2 centre def:mark tall midfielder+1 striker:man mark 2 winger:stand on near+far post 2 strikers:close down corner ...have yet to concede in corners -attack corners: Set 'far post' kicker: outswinging! Yes Out swing!!! I tried the tactic and it's fantastic, you always score minimum 2 goals per game but it's also very risky because of the high deffensive line. You always dominate the opposition in the midfield. It gives you a 55-60% possesion and a 75-80% procent of team passing completion every game which is very important to me. Your games will never be boring playing this tactic. I tried it with Juve but I don't know if it works for lower teams. With this tactic I can say that I achieved playing total football with my team.
