A serious error has occured

When i click on the go to match button i keep on getting an error message that a serious error was encountered and the application will close. it generates an error file but i don't know what to do with it.

There is a system conflict on your computer- make sure that your drivers are all up to date and turn off other applications running in the background.

Similar issue to onemagicdaddy - demo just crashed randomly, wasnt going into a match. Had been using the game for about 4 hours - had yet to play a match and only 2 weeks into the game time.

I have tried another spanish quick start and played some games with no problem but obviously wary of having this sort of issue for the full game as a random crash can cause a lot of wasted time depending on game play style.

I'm trying to play on a Mac and it freezes every time I try to go to match.

This is because of your graphic card not up to the standard to view a 3D match. Anyway, you can solve this by close the 3D match option in preferences. (unclick the enable 3D match cameras option.)

i have a NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT 512mb graphics card, with an extra 767mb shared system memory

also tried taking off the 3d option and still received the same error message

For me the demo has crashed a few times when i click to start the match.

First time playing a match in the strwberry-demo it crashed. Then i tried again with another league and was able to play one match without problems (in 3d) but it crashed when match two was about to start.

I can play 3D matches so that isnt the problem for me. Also I have a 5* rating as well.

its happened in many situations, while was searching for a player or when i want to open a player profil or when i click continue and it was pinding.

but now the worest thing is that the game crashes when i play the match. not only the game my pc crashes and restart.

I got steam to delete the game files and then redownload the demo and it seems to work fine now (touch wood) no error messages

In the my games section i right clicked on the demo and chos to delete the local content, then after that i redownloaded the demo

Hello! I have the same problem. Every 15-20 days of gameplay, FM 2010 gives me this message about "A serious error encountered...". It happens randomly i think. It happened many when i tried to click on a players name, then it happened once or two while pressing "Go to match". My crash and dump file has six files. If you think they will be usefull i can send them.

This is a known bug, check the bugs forum. It has to do with a memory issue.
