Broon
The new feature on FM2010 regarding modified leagues and tournaments has given me an idea. I doubt whether it would be possible on FM2010 but maybe one day???? Here's the idea.... Network preseason tournaments that players can log in to, using their one player teams. The benefits... A more enjoyable, fun-filled preseason. An area of the game that is quite often either avoided completely (Assistant manager's job) or half-heartedly rushed through. You would obviously only be able to play against different teams to your own and if you have any dublicates players they would be 'cup-tied' for the tournament. Further down the line the possibilities for this would be endless; Real-life Champions League between the best FMers on the planet for example. The problems..... Technology would be a problem to start off with I think. There would need to be a way to upload your team details to a network game and then take the changes to your players and team back to your own, personal game. Is this possible? Thoughts? drobbo12
Good idea imo, but there would be quite a few issues to sort out first.
Broon
I'd be interested in hearing from someone at SI about the long-term possibility though
