aLlamaWithARifle
I know potential ability has a lot to do with it but I've tried to make some very young layers with 200 potential ability and they still only turn out alright, I want to make a player that can turn into the worlds best? Phil Linder
Need to have a top training schedule aswell. Possibly that only that player will participate in. Also helps is a current world class player in the same position can tutor them. Make sure they have a similar personality though or they can fall out. If they are young players too then first team football usually makes gives them big attribute increases early on (your assistant manager will come to you occassionally and tell you he's been doing well)
aLlamaWithARifle
Well I meant more in terms of using the editor to make a player with very high potential but when I did that I used Genie scout to see his future stats and they were all fairly average, I've tried varying the current ability and potential ability but I can't quite seem to get him to turn out amazing such as Vela does (since his stats shoot up to around 17+ finishing) Is there something I've missed in the editor to do this? Jack Rudd
I'm not sure I'd trust Genie Scout to predict their progress accurately. I think experiments have suggested that the optimal setting here is Ambition 20, Determination 20, Professionalism 20.
