On a slight tangent I remember an interview with James Anderson (England cricketer) a few years back and he said when on tour he regularly plays, and a few of the squad have a network game. Forkoid Posted July 10, 2009 Share Posted July 10, 2009 My cousins husband is in the game. He plays for an Irish league team. He's quite good in it as well. But I know he doesn't play the game. He's much too busy with his FULL TIME JOB and training 5 nights a week. The life of an amateur footballer is not easy! Especially since, as the stereotype goes, footballers aren't that eh... "Clever"... and it's not as if he's a doctor or a solicitor full time. he makes a modest salary at his day job, enough to keep his family and he gets small allowances from the team.
