Often players are unhappy if some of their teammates were sold. It's normal. Often they can't accept the fact it was a not bad deal in any sense and move on. That's more or less normal too. But the only option that has a high chance to resolve the situation is an offer to sign a replacement. That's... understandable. But what if the replacement is already signed? I plan all transfers beforehand and don't sell anyone even from the rotation if I don't have a better option already. Guess many people do the same. What I propose is to add a talk option to player/team interaction "Look, I already signed a replacement, no reasons for a panic." if a player of the same position was already signed during the current transfer window.
Situation (in chronological order): I sold some player (Charlie Austin) another player (Grant Haley) instantly became unhappy (a couple weeks later) keeper (Predrag Rajkovic) became unhappy 'cause incoming transfer was blocked (2 months later) Predrag Rajkovic dropped unhappiness, I offered him a new contract and he signed it (1 month later) Grant Haley dropped concerns about the player sale instantly Predrag Rajkovic became unhappy 'cause of Charlie Austin sale (no any warnings and/or talks with the player) Everything is on the screenshot: It's absolutely wrong. He wasn't unhappy right after the sale, signed a new contract and suddenly realized that something bad happened a few months ago. This is not new in FM, but it is still an issue, it seems. In the last 11 games: Started Started, off injured Injured Injured Injured Injured Injured Started Started, off injured Injured On as sub I'm sure the game is taking into account the previous 6 games in which he did not appear, even though the player did not make any complaints at the time, and it was more than two months previous. It also seems the game (and player) are treating the games missed injured as time not selected for first team. For the last two months, he's started every game he was fit for, and there should not be a complaint for "lack of first team" after this.
