The Fields of Anfield Road - Liverpool F.C. I have decided to create a save with the team I have supported since I attended my first ever game at the age of 4 and still attending games to this day whenever possible, I usually go with Liverpool as my first ever save on every years FM however on this occasion with all the new training features I tried it with different teams to get to terms with the new training, tactics etc before making my yearly save with Liverpool. So let's get down to the reason I chose Liverpool for my career update thread, I was born in '94 so since '98 I have been watching Liverpool go through so many ups and downs, watching us have good years such as 2001 and 2005 and very turbulent years over the past 20 years, watching us through the Hicks & Gillett era which was abysmal after looking so promising at the beginning and would've been much worse if it wasn't for the wonderful man of Rafa Benitez and now watching us under relatively new owners who have transformed the club while under the management of Brendan Rodgers and more notably current manager Jurgen Klopp who have fantastic runs in the League, Europa League and Champions League respectively, however, we've fallen short on the final hurdle. It is my plan in this save to replicate the dominance of Liverpool from back in the Shankly and Paisley days and bring the glory days back to Anfield. These are the finances after doing my expectations, so this season I expect to challenge for the title while making the final of FA Cup & Champions League respectively, hopefully we can do better than that but I want to do this as a minimum. A nice healthy transfer budget and hopefully if we can offload a couple of players that don't feature in my plans that'll go higher and get some main targets in. Liverpool have got a very strong squad but there are a few players which aren't really up to the task of where I want to take this team so there will be changes to be expected. The main spine of the team is littered with stars with the likes of Alisson, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino; A couple more world class players and I believe we won't be too far away from being at Man City's squad level of depth and quality but it remains to be seen if I can offload the players that I believe are hindering our future successes. (There is also Origi, Solanke and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the squad too but they are in the U23's due to I'm looking to offload Origi, loan out Solanke and Ox is injured for 11 months). Next update will be the end of pre-season with tactics and transfers.
Currently in my second season with Real Betis. Finished first season 2nd in the league with a 4-3-3- tiki taka style formation. But now my front line is seriously struggling and I have no idea why. My strikers have scored 3 goals between them in the league, and its now december. My IF left (Denis) has been atrocious out wide. Here are some screen shots of my setup and instructions. Someone help. Please.
Pep Guardiola's Juego di posicion .rarIntroduction Today will be posting the Positional Play inspired by the great work of late Sir Johan Cruyff and Pep Guardiola who won the Sextuple with Barcelona in 2008/09 season and a quintuple in 2010/11. So let's start with the basic explanation.,. Tactics & roles explanationSweeper Keeper/Support:- As you all know Pep always prefer a goalie who is comfortable with the ball at his feet like he used Victor Valdes for ball distribution while his time at Barca. Key attributes for this role will be Passing, Positioning and Off the ball You can also switch this to Attack which will be like the Neuer role Bpd's/Defend:- With the play out from defense instruction, you need good defenders who are capable of playing the ball without any problem. Key attributes for this role will be anticipation, passing, off the ball and vision. IWB:- This role basically gives the chance to the AML to provide width to the pitch while the IWB sits narrow and do some defensive work like Abidal used to do. CWB/Attack:- This role was performed by Dani Alves who had a rock solid chemistry with Messi on that right flank. The cwb role allows the wing back to stay wider, providing the width and getting into opposition half while he is also capable of tracking back of defensive duties. Half Back:- This role is the backbone of your team. Like Pep, who also used to play as a pivot in his time at Barcelona, the pivot mainly recycles the lost ball and sits deeper b/w the bpd's to give them a chance to push up. Attacking playmaker & Deep Lying Playmaker/Support:- This midfield duo combines to build your teams gameplay. Obviously Pep had Xavi as a dlp who had a great vision due to that also he is known as 'La pause' meaning 'The Pause' Inside Forwards/Support/Attack:-With the IWB sitting narrow you need you Left IF to stay wider while the Right one to stay narrower due to the width cwb is providing. You can set either attack or support duty for this role but i'd prefer setting only the Left IF to attack. False 9/Trequartista:- Pep used Messi as his f9 or trequartista who could operate in the attacking mid to lay short passes to his team mates around him. Instructions:-Real time gameplay explanation:-Screenshots taken from Real madrid vs Barcelona game which Barcelona won 6-2 Results OI:-Suggestions:- -For Training, do Fitness on high for the pre-season and Tactical on average and Ball control in the month of April. -For this tactic you'll need intelligent players so I haven't tried this tactic with weak teams. P.S I also attached a 4-2-3-1 i used it occasionally like I used it in the cdr final against madrid when there were 15 minutes left i was down 3-1Let me know in the comments how did it go Pep Guardiola's Juego di posicion .rar
