  1. In the player search menu it would useful to have a filter where you can find players who have experience playing in a certain division but are not necessarily based there. This could be useful when you need a player who can come straight into the starting XI without needing too long to adjust to the league, but don't want to limit yourself to searching current divison players or rigorously searching for players who have divison experience For example Daley Blind has Premier League experience but is based in Netherlands.
  2. This suggestion comes as a result of long games feeling a bit stale in the visual side. It feels rather unnatural to look at every single club, and literally everything is as it was by the time the game came out, especially those that are constantly morphing in real life. So this is a list of ideas that would add realism on this matter. Updated away / third kits for teams every season (or most seasons, depending on tradition). These changes would be often extreme, as it would be common to experiment with different colours. Rise in merchandising sales. Minor detail updates in a club's main outfit. Commonly seen when striping patterns receive stylistic updates, just like Barcelona and Juventus in recent times. This could however, extend to shorts/sock and different kinds of pattern. In extreme cases: outright club purchases could result in a complete rebranding and perhaps a relocation process. Obviously a lot more likely in clubs with lower tradition and lower reputation. Infamous example: FC Wimbledon to MK Dons. I hope you find this interesting! PS: I am completely aware, of course, that this would be absolutely impossible for licensed items.

(i don't talk about "set nickname" or "common name") I know that DB has specific field for complete the nickname of the people, but in the game I never saw nicknames being used, either in the profile or news. I think this could be placed next to "fullname" with the player information. There is no need to show it elsewhere or reference it at all. In Argentina it's very popular to know players by their nicknames rather than their real names. It's a fact: There is no Argentinian player who doesn't have a nickname. We have thousands of players named Rodríguez, García, Fernández, González, Romero, Gómez, Pérez, etc. But only one "Papu" Gómez, one "Chiquito" Romero, one "Pulga" Rodríguez and an endless list. This isn't a major suggestion but it would be nice if that information was finally used in the game. Attention to detail, right?
  4. I'm sure that every Australian that plays Football Manager dreams of the National Premier Leagues being introduced into FM. After a while, the A-League can get pretty boring and repetitive. So why not introduce the Australian tier 2 and 3 into Football Manager. Here are some arguments as to why SI should introduce the National Premier Leagues into FM: - It would bring variety into the Australian sphere in FM. In conjunction of playing in the A-League with no promotion/relegation, you may also be able to play in leagues that have promotion/relegation, or in Victoria and NSW circumstance have 3 or 4 leagues that you can choose from to maybe even do a road to glory. - It would bring a challenge. In real life, the A-League like to take top performers from the NPL. So if your team is in form and you have a few standout players, be prepared to lose them as the A-League clubs will be keeping a close eye on them. - Players won't get bored. By having NPL in FM, Australian players won't get bored as there would be 8 different top NPL leagues to chose from. Once you've accomplished one you can move onto another. Also, FM players outside Australia could be wanting to try something new and unknown, the NPL would be perfect for this. Please feel free to leave to reply to this thread as it will help to get this noticed and hopefully help put Australia on the map for football.
  5. I would like to see a tactical "overhaul" so that the playing style you choose has more influence on the match and the stats. If i choose "Control" as a playing style my possession is nearly the same as if i choose counter or offensive. And i rarely have over 60% possession per game even with good passers and movement without the ball. What also bothers me is that in the match report i always have around 200-300 passes when im playing full possession as in comparison to real life, those teams often have 600-800 passes or even more. Also i would love to see different formations for with the ball and without the ball and multiple player roles combined with ones with more priority and ones with less. Maybe do this as a optional setting so players who are not that into tactics can still enjoy the "simpler" game.
  6. I would like to have the option to make throw in's to the ground or high up for headers. Or even better, let the players decide whats best in the situation. It just makes no sense that my tiny winger receives throw ins he has to contest with a header. Everyone would throw the ball infront of his feet so he can work with the ball properly.
  7. Just a request for an option when holidaying - for my holiday to end when there's a vacancy at specific clubs (maybe a tick box list to select clubs/leagues?). Would make being unemployed much more streamlined. I know there's an option to apply to certain levels of teams, but it's a little unclear which teams are actually included in these brackets. For example, I want to only apply for 4.5+ star teams, so I select what seems to be the highest option, and the game applies for positions at 3 star teams.

An issue that carries over on every edition of FM since it was introduced is the issues with player interaction (I nearly added this to the bug forum but I don't think of it as a bug), for instance if you want to praise a player's recent high training performance or that they have genuinely developed well over the last few months and the player responds angrily to the managers praise, when the praise is justified, with a reply which I think would be unrealistic, especially when you have an interaction between a manager and a young player. This issue seems to get overlooked at every update, also think that the player interaction feature has not been developed enough over recent editions of FM.
  9. We need some features in FM19 for FMM20 @Sports Interactive @Marc Duffy @Marc Vaughan 1. Pre, Post and Tunnel Interviews. 2. Shouts during matches. 3. Ability to arrange friendly matches with any clubs. 4. New, More In-depth Tactics system. 5. Ability to make longer loan deals 6. New training schedule system paired with the new training system. 7. Ability to bring players in on trial. 8. Ability to request for a Director Of Football. 9. Ability to train for set pieces. That's all I can think of for now😀 Thanks!❤
  10. I doubt this is a bug but there is a lack of international friendlies being generated throughout the game especially after the first few years. Friendly games for Youth National teams are a rarity. There should be at least 6 games being generated like year 1.
  11. Can you swap "jest co najmniej 1/20/40/100%" to "minimum 1/20/40/100%", please. "at least" is same like "minimum" in polish language. Then we will see the percentages. btw i see on screen that "Dania" is not change to "Denmark".
  12. Hiya guys! (I won't post this suggestion on suggestion category I feel like this thread will avoid or completely impossible for SI) NOTE: 1. Those are suggestions not ask remember the difference guys, 2. Stop saying test FM Touch. 3. Definition of Option: The right to choose First of all I have FM18, I didn't buy the 19 even I want it but I hold my electronic flat paper for the next version if SI adds so much changes. I have thinking about features and improvement I would love to see in FM20 I know it will be impossible for some but honestly I think anyone would agree with those features/improve/remove. Features: - Japanese league Commentary: if you can add Hong Kong league then it will be easy to add Japan - New option for the match named "quick match" Commentary > "quick match" because I'm tired to play each match I don't want to waste my time for each match (ex. F.A Premier League FM game who has 4 options) - Stadium and buildings windows Commentary > FAPLFM02 let us to construct buildings like shop, parking, training camp, hospital, clubhouse... and a window where we can see the stadium(s) and we can upgrade each part and it includes a 3D visualization. - Add an option for language course all players instead of one by one Commentary > When you recruit more than 140 players you don't have the button to send them to language course, so you have to do it manually and you know you waste your time (FAPLFM02 doesn't have it) - Add new emails > monthly awards (best player of the month, best young player of the month, best manager of the month), Financial opinion, Commentary > FAPLFM has those emails Improve/remove: - Improve or remove meeting with players Commentary > I avoid any talk with players because it's broken if you talk to them they won't win the match so I win any match when I don't talk to them. - Improve skip days Commentary > when the game skips day it stops 4 time per day same when there is a match. Can you improve it to skip instantly and when there is a match reach directly the match. - Improve match engine Commentary > People complain the match engine is broken - Improve transfer price Commentary > In FAPLFM when you want a player you put a price if he costs 8 millions well you increase by 2 so you ask for 16 millions, you wait the next week and you get an answer from the team for a yes or no (rarely for the no). In FM Lo Celso costs 8.25M and you click on suggest it is between 80 - 120 millions.... WHAT THE HELL???? This is so much unrealistic for me, normally I will put 8.25*2 = 16.5. - improve injuries Commentary > too much players in my team get injured even I give them 2 - 3 days after a match; I put one rest before the match at or training and after. - Improve inbox Commentary > Can we reduce the size of the inbox, some e-mails have lack of details take example of FAPLFM - Remove player's complain Commentary > When you don't let them play they ask you to play even they have played 2 matchs for example they complain (What the hell). Also if I don't let them play there is a reason "it because I want them for the next season while they train" but I can't select this reason when I talk to them. And also one sad affects all the team... Also when I let one player plays because he complains suddenly he gets injured during the match.... - Remove journalists interviews Commentary > I skip them because they are annoying and it is always the same questions please remove them you will reduce your work. - Remove/improve staff can leave the team for another Commentary > How bout NO, when I talk to one of them they don't care what you say they leave... in FAPLFM they don't leave they have a contract they stay until you decide to fire them or not.... - Remove complain because I give the captain's armband to another player same for captain's second Commentary > When I recruit Kobayashi and Wendell they both ask for second captain and one of them gets mad if I forgot to change the promise for one of them - Remove complain when I send a player to the reserves or youth team Commentary > This is so annoying and their morale decreased.... - Reduce number of staff Commentary > please reduce the number of people per job for 2 - 3 maximum (16 scouts is too much) - Limit the number of players by teams Commentary > it is good to have an army of recent and future players but I would prefer to be limited by 40 players by team (FAPLFM limit the number of players for good reason not to be greedy) - Remove team briefing Commentary > I don’t need to brief my team I just want to play the match (I would prefer to have a quick result than rather play the match) Most important improvement: - No more lags and freeze Commentary > France, Spain, Italy when you select a team from one of those countries the game lags or freeze and it freezes for 1 minute i have click on the game to close the bar on the top... - Improve the game speed + treatment Commentary > What I mean is when we start a new game we have to select a country or more, select the leagues, select the size of the database and those have an impact when we click on the button “start” and after because the treatment of what we have selected takes 1 minute+ each time. - No DRM this year Commentary > Let's try for one year with FM20 with no DRM included to see if people will less complain about lag and freezes. Where FM fails and not FAPLFM: - When I launch FAPLFM I click on new game, I select my team and bam I play. DB and leagues / cups / extra cups are loaded without slow the game. - FAPLFM you play for example 8 hours, in game you have played 5+ seasons / FM you play 8 hours you didn't finish the season because the game stops 4 times (maybe less when no matchs or stupid treatment) and you are still in the middle of the season. I don’t understand FAPLFM02 has “kinda” the same DB than FM but the treatment goes so fast and you can consult 8 countries with their leagues tables (England (5 leagues), Italy (2 leagues), Germany (4 leagues), Holland (2 leagues), Belgium (2 leagues), France (2 leagues), Scotland (4 leagues), Spain (2 leagues)). i have two questions > - Do you test your game before you release it ? - Did someone realize releasing a game with slow mo treatment was a good idea ? We can go back to conference cause in inbox is button to go back, but if we tell something to players about tactic we have no this button in inbox if we click for example go to squad and leave this window. Can u show button "back to talk about tactic" if we go to this and leave not special? If u dont know what i mean i will send you screens

  15. I love playing with attribute masking but I also have a slight case of OCD and seeing numbers like "11-14" really bothers me lol... At this point its probably unlikely that attribute bars will make a return so I am suggesting a Letter Grade option. Where a range of "16-20" would be considered an "A+" for example...
  16. In the same vein as HOYD poaching good players from small clubs and if it’s not already a thing, it would be cool to see HOYD bring in youth players from bigger clubs who did not sign a youth contract at their original club. Recent example: Dwight McNeil
  17. Hi, First of all let me thank you for all the good work done by you. Cheers! Now the suggestions is about the club finances, is such easear bring a club in bankrupt to rich what's not in line with reality. Even when choosing a team from last divisions in 2 seasons you can upgrade the finances really fast. Bring more difficult to pay high salaries when you are small team can help fix this. So my request is as it happens in FM full version for PC bring some extra reality when it comes to finances on small teams. This can look like a small or not important feature to add but for all the people as me that found the real fun taking charge of a small team with financial troubles and bringing it to top is really important have such a difficult. The same happens with winning trophies with those small teams, is kinda easier to win. Add more realistic difficult. Thanks. Ruben

  19. Are there any instances of bribery or corruption in FM, involving refs, players and/or boards?... It would be interesting to have some "bribery" options in FM. (As there are in the sister-game Motorsport Manager). I think this would only be quite realistic, and perhaps even exciting... (Think of lower-league Italian clubs that are often punished for being involved in administration scandals...).

Hello, guys, I've just started a new career with West Bromwich Albion and I'm trying to fit a tactic to the team.I created a 4-1-2-2-3 tactic with the aim of creating posession based tactic (2 wingbacks, one BPD and one CD, a deep lying playmaker, an advanced playmaker, a mezzala, two inside forwards and a F9) but it didn't work.I watched my first match and realized that my team can't advance in the attack, they are playing at their own field, passing, dribbling, but they can't open up the game.After so many passing, they play a long ball, if one of inside forwards catch the ball, he just dribbles towards the middle and makes some clueless things, like shooting from a very long range.My striker, literally, doesn't do anything.First match was 0-0, but in the second match, somehow I managed to win 3-1.If I upload my game, or the screenshot of my team, could you suggest something to add or change? I want to create possesion based tactic, but not exactly Tiki-Taka.
  21. I feel that the DoF is currently just another staff member. I believe that, in real life, they are much more (if they exist at all in the club). In some clubs, they are a central figure. I would like to see this more well explored in FM. Examples: The club could have an imposed structure on who decides about transfers - the manager or the DoF. This should be part of the contract negotiation with new clubs and could be a feature of the game that could be turned off for FM players that want always to control everything. If the DoF is in charge of buying and selling players, two things should happen: The media, club and supports should not complain with us about new signings or sells; Before a transfer window, there should be a talk with the DoF indicating which type of players do we need to get in the team (position and ability) and which should be released. There should be a relationship between the DoF and the manager. These dynamics are also very important within the club. The club should be in charge of hiring this DoF and their policy DoF-manager could change during a save (if this option is turned on).
  22. Hi This is something I have thought of before and I think it is something that can really add to the game as press conferences can get a little samey. As an example I have just declared interest in the Arsenal job , I got an interview, didn't get it but it went on for weeks. Yet in every press conference for the games it was never mentioned. In the real world the journalists would have been bombarding the manager with questions over his future almost ignoring the upcoming match. This would be something that would really add to conferences, also big issues could be brought in. Things like, questions on VAR, or general questions about the standard of refereeing, maybe after a controversial decision in a big game involving other teams. A general question about diving in the game for example. Also in Olympic years you could be questioned about other sports. I think it would be a big addition
  23. A nice option would be something like LMA used to have when expanding the stadium. I know managers wouldn't actually have a say in this in the real world BUT it would be a quirky feature as sometimes when you expend stadiums they look terrible and not very realistic. For example MUFC or MCFC having four separate stands. Something like the below....... And i also know you wouldn't be able to have the actual look of St Andrews for example due to image rights etc but could just have something that looks similar

Hey All, Trying to get into the match plans and install them into my main tactic set, however the dealbreaker is that I can't stop the assman from subbing players he thinks are a better fit - sometimes I want to play a game and not have my fully best 11 (give youth a chance/rotate ahead of an important game) yet still play in the same manner. Apologies if the option is still there but have searched everywhere and found several threads here on SI that suggest it has indeed been taken away this version? Please can it be added back? Pretty please? They're just not something I want to use at all without it but would be great not to have to manually switch mentalities/tactics at the same points every single game etc? Thanks!
