  1. A club's Financial Status [Club Menu > General] seems entirely based on their Cash-At-Bank number, and it's honestly really outdated - both in a 2018 financial reviewing state and also just by the way the various leagues' economies work within FM. Most clubs run at a loss on a month-to-month basis and get 'topped up' by end-of-season and pre-season injections (prizemoney, season tickets, sponsors etc..), so a simple snapshot of cash-at-bank doesn't really ever properly explain how the club is holding together. Also the Financial Status markers (Okay, Secure, Rich etc..) are based on set numbers no matter how what club you are. So let's say "Rich" is 30M Euros in the bank - it'll be rare for any English League One sides to ever be rich. Maybe that's ok. The main reason I think Financial Status is used by managers (correct me if I'm wrong) is in deciding if you're interested in signing with a certain club. You don't want to join someone who's going to be in debt within a couple of months and if you're looking to grow the club you want to make sure they actually have the means to invest in some improvements. Considering a lot of interviews these days talk about "Are you able to manage finances" as well, I think this Financial Status is the only place where you get any idea of how the club sits. I'm just looking at my current save (Juventus) in January, and how we're "Rich" with 33M Euros in the bank, but we're losing 20M per month. We'll be 100M in debt by EoS - we may well make that up, but right now if someone were looking to take this job on they'd think "Oh Juve is Rich, I could sign there and try to get them to improve their facilities" - and that's simply not the case. Proposal / Solution: Really I think the naming should just change to represent cashflow a little more*. It'll sound a little complex, but it's really not. For example let's say (something simple like) an average of the past 3 months Profit/Loss is what gives us our 'Cashflow' amount. Then compare the Cashflow with the Cash-at-Bank amount and pick a financial status based upon that relationship. Such as: Rich - >75M in the bank and unlikely to be below 0 within 12 months. Strong - >40M in the bank and unlikely to be below 0 within 12 months. Good - >15M in the bank, unlikely to be below 0 within 12 months. And so on for Okay, Secure, Insecure, and any other things. Alternately you could separate Financial Status and Cashflow Status into 3 headers on the General Club Info page and just have "Strong" represent positive cashflow, "Adequate" represent a slow loss and "Weak" represent a significant loss each period - whether the significant is quantified by a static amount (lets say >10M p/m) or as a portion of the Cash-At-Bank I'm not really sure. With this breakdown you can at least get more of an idea of how much money the club has and how likely that is to change in the short-to-mid term. *The projections are fairly week - they seem to just take the prior months income/expense and forecast it out over time. So you could use these for this purpose, but they'd need to be improved. A 3-month rolling average used to extrapolate their position would be stronger.

The Women's Super League is gaining traction all the time thanks to broadcasting deals with the BBC and BT Sport, as well as the impressive feats of England's Lionesses in international tournaments. Women's football is also hugely popular in overseas territories, such as North America, and in recent years, has been represented in another bestselling video game series, FIFA. Isn't it about time Football Manager followed suit? The 2018 instalment was the first to feature female coach avatars, marking a small step forward on this front. Let's hope that move was to foreshadow the arrival of women's leagues in the next edition. So, what would the introduction of women's football actually bring to the FM series, besides brownie points for gender inclusiveness? Aside from all-new content and challenges, it would make the next instalment a more authentic simulation of the sport. In real life, Phil Neville recently crossed over into the women's game to coach the Lionesses. With female teams featured in FM19, your career path could mirror his. Whether that's a good thing per say is debatable, but it would at least add realism. Football Manager claims it's the most authentic, in-depth simulation of the sport out there, and while that's true, there's an entire section the game it's failing to represent
  3. When playing lower league teams, all the attributes are very low. However, the low attributes might be considered above average in the lower league. Is it possible to have the option to show the player's attributes as a percentage of the league's average? For example, a players has 8 for finishing and the league's average for striker's finishing is 10. Show the attribute as -20% instead of 8. This is just an idea, i think it can be improve by using other units instead of percentage. I suggest this because I find it hard to compare my player's attribute with the league's average when I'm playing lower league. However for top leagues, I don't really need it because I just aim for as high as possible. I can't do this in lower league. Maybe the data analyst can come into play. Better data analyst = more accurate comparisons. I also suggest to let us filter the comparison, for example, let us compare the pace of my striker vs average pace of defenders in the league.
  4. On FM19 there should be a feature where you can change your kit every season. - Pick the shirt sponsor. - Pick club sponsor. - Pick the design and colours of kits. Gets boring looking at the same kit every season. I know you can add your own. But, not everyone knows how to do that. Another alternative is FM giving you 2/3 generated kits based on your club colours.
  5. First, it's far too many players generated with high PA and secondly, it's too easy to tell which players will turn out good. I think you should lower the amount of high-PA newgens. About the second thing, I would like to have an OPTION of turning off the potential Stars completely and if they are on that the scouts are not as accurate as they are now. I think young players should have only black stars and no gold stars above their current level so it's more uncertain so it's harder to tell by a quick glance. That way you would have to take more things, like match ratings and attributes, in consideration when choosing who to promote. Now you can easily just play the ones with higher potential and your good. I have played this game every year since 2007 and off the top of my head I can only tell one(!) time where my assistant manager was waaay off on a players potential, when he gave a youth player 4,5 stars who "maxed" at 2,5 stars. regards Niklas

  7. When attending a job interview mid- to late-season, when asked the expectations question (I.e. Reach playoffs) I'd like an option along the lines of "Given where the team currently are I think that's unrealistic for this season, but I'll achieve it next season."

Hello,I was playing fm18 and when I went to change the camera I saw that there was only the classic 2d camera and not the other 2d camera which was in the previous fm games.However when the game was waiting for highlights of the match i changed my camera back to 3d and the old 2d camera showed up but when i watch a highlight it becomes 3d.Can u please add the 2d camera in your next fm update.

Sitting here watching the first game of the World Cup and I realise that FM never makes a big deal of major tournaments.The best I can do is scout it or keep an eye on players that I have playing for various teams.These are the biggest tournaments in World football, surely FM could treat them as such and during the months of June/July there should be blanket coverage in my inbox about the games of the day , who is playing well, round up of all the days goals,potential transfer rumours etc etc.
  10. On my database players seem to retire very early. I think players, especially with high reputation and int caps, should be less likely to retire. In real life there is a trend to spend the late 30s in China, America, Japan, Australia etc. This should be reflected in the game. Players like Iniesta, Torres etc all retire quickly in my game as do many others.
  11. Good afternoon! I have a request for you - an offer. When I make a photo for players, logo, etc. I have to enter the ID manually. I wanted to be able to copy the ID, as well as with the names of players and so on. This would make it easier to create photos for the game. Less mistakes. And further. Why not make a standard skin for an extension (resolution) for an action-style photo. Such photos do DF 11, OPZ, Fierros Action, Gunzo..... Thanks, Alex from Lemberg.
  12. Currently if you have FC Vaduz as an affiliate club to recruit foreign youngsters, they send you Swiss regens. Could this be changed to Liechtensteiner regens?
  13. We can already do it with the Advanced Database settings, so let us save our league choices too. I have a decent computer so I can load a lot of leagues. Whenever I want to start a new save, I have to go through every nation and league, and then also change them to playable/view-only. Just being able to save the setup would be great and save a lot of time.
  14. I'm thinking for use in create a club mode. I am wanting to create a team with my mates playing, but to create them takes a good amount of time, If it was capable of each of my friends to create themselves.. save them, so i can just import them in at the create a club choose player stage.

    FMT DoF

    Currently, the DoF can suggest players for you to sign on a transfer, on loan, end of contract or free transfer for a given position or role. Would it be possible to add an option where by the DoF can also suggest players with potential in a given position or role?
  16. Maybe now as lots of people play lower league management we should have level 11 leagues in the game.
  17. I think that feature was discussed already (I mean general discussion about real-life agents in game). As I remember, real agents were against their presense in game, but I think it will be quite realistic if some players will become agents in game after retirement.

I'm tired to play from the beginning of season every year, after i purchased the new gen of FM I expect and enjoy the new features each year but I'm really tired to manage the club once and once again I want enjoy the new features with my old save so i don't need to fire people, buy new players, upgrade the facilities and build up the team again and again

It would be cool if the editor had a feature where it could change the date of a stadium upgrade and maybe shorten it or build it instantly , i know there's other editors such FMRTE which allow you to edit other features of the stadium but having this feature in the game could favour the SI in game editor rather than the 3rd party editors
  21. This is a proposal directly from Fifa Manager (that died in 2013), why dont you add an option to simulate a real life, with usage of wages, having personal sponsor and etc ? There is an option to own a club already, i guess this kind of option would gather many other kind of fans, even those who love the sims. Football Manager is a manager-managerial game but with this kind of option it would become much bigger, and lets face it, theres no more room to new features where it stands, only visual stuff or useless features.
  22. Another feature I would like added to all platforms of FM is the ability to offer an assist bonus. This bonus would look the same as other bonuses, such as goal bonuses, clean sheet bonuses, etc. I don't prioritize it, yet I feel it would the game more realistic. Thank You!
  23. [Suggestion] Hi, I’ve been playing as TNS in Wales in my save and TNS are by far the top club in the Welsh system. On next year’s version, I think it would be a good idea to incorporate the biggest clubs from minnow nations being able to transfer to a higher profile neighbour’s league system. For example: A top Welsh premier side joining the English league system; a top Andorran team joining the Spanish league system etc.
  24. This would be useful and allow the player to use their judgement to decide which great chances or goal to watch a replay of. Currently, you can only turn ALL goals or ALL great chances on or off completely. But as a player you often only want to see replays for these things selectively, using your own judegement. For example for a great chance you might want to watch it again to see what your team did well. Or if it was the opponenet with a great chance, to see what your team did wrong. Or if its a goal, you might want to watch it again to enjoy it. But if its a regular type of goal, not bother to watch it again. The controls only offer an all or nothing ie watch replays for all goals or none of them. But in the game, you want to be able to be selective about the ones that are replayed.
  25. Dear SIGAMES :-) Why did you remove the bar, in the bottom of the picture, that comes up when you get a penalty, freekick or scores a goal? It's confusing inside the box on corners fx, when you can't see what's going on, if it's a freekick to the defending team or a penalty to the attacking team ? I know i can see it right away what the ref has called, but it would be nice to actually get the info right away. And on goals? In previous games the bar in the bottom of the picture always came up with the goalscorer and how many goals he has scored in the season? Now it's only every 5 goals that shows? Please consider the idea of bringing it back :-)
