  1. Hi. I see those replays when the ball went to the goal line, or when goals are disallowed due to a potential offside. Then I see those replays... But can I do anything to trigger or demand it?... Is there any button to click I'm not aware of?... I never saw a referee changing his mind following such replays. Only once, he ran to check the TV monitor outside the field to grant me a penalty... Is this how it's supposed to work?
  2. As you can see in the video, the engine disallowed a goal because the player who didn't receive the pass was offside Football Manager 2019 05_02_2019 19_57_08_Trim.mp4
  3. 3 disallowed goals in 1 game, 2 of which have presumably passive offsides (or phantom touches). Bristol Rovers v Leicester. 3 disallowed.pkm
  4. Almost always in attacking corners since the last update; the attacking players who are in a more advanced position than the opposition defence get called offside if they touch the ball. This happens mostly if defending team does not have anyone marking the posts. There is an example in the PKM attached of an attacking corner for Cardiff City where Bruno Ecuele Manga is offside directly from a corner at 31:35. There is also an example at 54:10 of a header scored by Sean Morrison direct from a long throw which is given offside. PLEASE FIX THIS. Obviously for a team heavily reliant on long throws and corners... this is a massive nuisance. Offside Corners+Throws.pkm
  5. Spotted Incorrect offsides. In this game, Kirby scored a goal that was disallowed for offside. He was at the entrance of the area behind everyone, so he could not possibly be offside. Yes, there were two players offside near the goalkeeper, but they did not touch the ball. There is some other dubious offside displays later on in the game (correctly spotted, but the lines are not well displayed) Crewe v Hereford.pkm
  6. Kluivert takes a shot after a free kick taken by number 10. From the 2D view it looks like it takes a slight touch off number 24, but I'm not sure. Then it falls to Weigl, who scores. Not sure whether this is a bug or just an incredibly poor decision. I cropped the pics quite a lot, but the only player from the defending team not visible here is a winger that stays forward when defending free kicks.
  7. Have noticed over last couple of days since 19.2 beta update far too many bad offside calls, I realise there will always be some but now there are several every match, I include a pkm showing some bad examples, far too many to list but specifically around the 31/32 minute mark it is impossible for this offside to be called no matter how blind we think officials are, Gomes to Richarlison. The ball is played across the box behind a line of defenders and when my player receives ball offside is called, with a full defensive line playing him onside, as I say too many in this match to list, but this is a recurring theme over last couple of days, not all against me but I probably notice the ones against me more. Have tried clipping some highlights but presuming uploading/saving highlights still not working. OffsidehowEverton v Tottenham Hotspur.pkm
  8. The goal was allowed from offside position. (The first goal from the attached match). The issue is that there was a shot to goal from a different player. The one who scored was clearly offside when the shot was made. What may "confused" the game engine is that after the first player's shot, the ball deflected from a defender, and then the other player scored. When the original shot was made, as well as until the goal, the scoring player was in an offside position. If referee mistakes are not programmed into the game deliberately, this is most likely the bug in the match engine. You should look into the issue related to deflection from the defender canceling out offside position during the original shot. Man Utd v Fulham.pkm
  9. Everton v Atlético.pkm In the 79th minute we scored a nice goal, but the on replay after the goal replay came the offside replay, when the ball is played forward not even close to offside, but the red and yellow lines appear as my player head the ball into the net still onside, we all know the call only matters when the ball is played, also no assist was credited this isn't a big issue, but I think the offside review is.
  10. While I was playing a league game against Fulham, one of their players scored an own goal but the goal was disallowed because the player who scored the own goal was in an offside position
  11. In FM17, I had so many disallowed goal which they shouldn't be considered as offside, mostly my players shot from distance directly without touching the offside player nor the offside player trying to receive the ball. So, is this just a bug or a mistake presented by the game play video?
  12. I love football manager. The tactical depth is pretty good. I would love to see even more layers of tactical depth. For example, pressing. It real life, there is more than one type of pressing. Is it a general full team press as soon as you lose possession? Is there a particular trigger to set of the press? Does it start when a player miscontrols? Or when the opposition have possession in certain areas of the pitch. Or when ertain players receive the ball? Do you press with multiple players to the man on the ball, or aim to cut off the supply to possible team mates? Is pressing only done during certain phases of the game? Maybe just the first ten minutes? Or first twenty, to try and Crete an early goal? Which player is responsible for starting the press on your team and why is their trigger? How about offside tactics? There is more than one way teams implement their offside traps and it is fairly sophisticated and done through constant drills and repetition...do you select a centre back to lead, or does each player refer to the next players position and take lead from the closest full back to the ball? Attacking tactics in real life are also often the result of preset drills and runs. It would be amazing if the training could involve a training pitch to incorporate setting up drills for pressing, offsides, what type of runs for your forward plyers to make. I don't mean in general "run forward", I mean specifically what common runs should your forward make when our right full back has the ball in his own half? How do the likes of Jermaine Defoe or Michael Owen being a good example in his prime try to beat the offside trap and play on the last man? It was making the same curved run again and again, not even getting close to receding the ball nine times out of ten, but doing it again and again every time certain players had the ball in certain areas. All done through repetitive training. I would like to setup where and when these types of runs should occur. Should they run the channel, make a curved run to beat the opposition offside trap, drop deep, pull wide or stay central...but not just a generic command...I would like to have a pitch setup where you could create the drills and position players into certain situations, then drill and instruct exactly where from and to each player's common movements should be. The quality of your ideas to counteract your opponent and coaches quality, plus the ability of your players to learn the routines can then increase or decrease the likelihood of success in game. How many top teams just rely on stay forward, or hover around the edge of the area type commands during set pieces? The top teams use meticulous planning and variation during attacking set pieces, with players involved making very specific runs, off the ball blocks, dummy runs intentional offside positioning, adding attacking players to defensive walls, plyers peeling off of walls for a pass "down the side" The potential for tactical depth is limitless. I realise this will be of no interest to many people, but I would love to see various subtleties added to the tactical approaches possible.
  13. First: the offside. Too often the offside is also called even when the balloon stays in the possession of the defending team, which is starting an attack action. There is the advantage, implement it better. Second: Penalty. Although there is the procedure of choosing the recurring in the tactical section, it would be nice that at the time of having to beat a penalty the game asks for confirmation on the player who wants to charge. It's unnerving to see players put to pull because your list of regoriists was, in that game, ended. Thanks
