I've had as little dabble with [FM20] managing RB Salzburg in Austria and the game seems reasonably stable. (No crashes at all for me so far). I wasn't really feeling the save though so have decided to start a proper one. # I've started unemployed, with no badges and with just Sunday League previous history and all the Nordic Nations available have been activated. I played in some of these leagues in FM19 and even won some of them, but others will be completely new to me if and when I get there. Last year I started in Iceland, but in the Icelandic First Di

Welcome to Nordicland. (Thanks @XaW) So I was getting a bit bored in Brazil, (winning, winning and more winning is ok, but I need more), although it has been pointed out by @kidthekid that I left prematurely without winning the Copa Libertadores so I'm sure I will go back and do that at some point. I have never managed properly in Scandinavia, (other than a damn good stint in Iceland), and this is an idea for a FM20 save so I am testing out the lay of the land so to speak in anticipation. For some reason the @claassendatabases didn't work when I installed them, (I think he only

So, i've had some success with the norwegian 3.divison team Nardo. I'm in year 2025 and been winning the league for 3 seasons in a row. My team is strong and several players are getting linked to bigger teams. In the last few seasons i've been picking up young foreigners to be ready if some of my first team players get sold, but i'm experiencing problems getting them enough first team football. My second team is only playing friendlies since their not in any "league play" and often i forget to set up new matches for them every month. Is there some sort of way to get my second team

FM18 All-European (Less England) Small Club to Big Club Challenge Introduction Welcome to a new chapter in the history of the ‘Euro Nation’ Challenge, born out of the recent history of the highly successful Gundo’s Challenge and the Big Euro Nation Challenge that spawned out of it. Originally set up as an alternative to the hugely successful Dafuges Challenge for FM06, Gundos Challenge offered an alternative for people who wanted to play in another European country. The Big Euro Nation Challenge followed for FM08 and, like Gundo’s Challenge, has had some fantastic sto

As an avid Football Manager player, there's one thing that has always annoyed me. I am from Norway, and usually play in the Norwegian divisions. In the beginning it's all fine and dandy but as the years drag on, I become superior in Norway and tend to either develop or purchase the best norwegian talents in order to fulfill the requirements when registering players for the division (16 out of the 25 players have to be trained in Norway for three years before their 21st birthday). I honestly don't mind this either as it promotes a good national side, but the only downside is that during the Wor

[FM 19] United and Loyal: a Norwegian Adventure
Greyfriars Bobby posted a topic in FM Career Updates
United and Loyal: a Norwegian Adventure Hello, everyone. I started playing Football Manager about five years ago, which makes me a relative newcomer to this fascinating game. I've always loved to write, and about 15 years ago, I started writing "dynasty stories" based on Out of the Park Baseball. I discovered I enjoyed creating a wider setting for the game on the field; it made my engagement and immersion with my career even more intriguing and fulfilling. I'm going to see if I can capture that same kind of enjoyment with a FM 19 save. Most of my FM experience has taken pl -

Here we go with Stabæk! Great facilities as well as excellent Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment. They've only won the Norwegian top flight once, back in 2008. This is something I want to rectify along with getting the club into either the Champions League group stages or the Europa League group stages. The furthest they have gotten previously has been the EL Playoff round and the CL Third Qualifying round. As you can see the average age is extremely young, at only 20 while we only have one 30+ year old in the squad. The next oldest is 26.... THE SQUAD A g
