Hello! I'm trying to create a international tournament similar to what once was the Nordic Football Championship https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nordic_Football_Championship. Though, instead of it being a 4-year-long league tournament, i'd like a more traditional cup, a group stage with two groups consisting of three teams, the toptwo from each group qualify to the semi-finals, and then a third-place playoff and a final at the end, but with only the nordic countries including finland, iceland and the faroe islands. No qualification, as the teams have permanent places in the tournament. So i jumped into the pre-game editor and slapped together something with the basic rules. I could test the competition in the editor successfully, but once i loaded it into a game, and holiday'd until the set starting date for the first games, the 1st of September, nothing happened. The tournament didn't even seem to exist in the game when i tried searching for it... I'll admit that this is my first time trying to create my own tournament using the pre-game editor. It seemed simple enough, and the "test competition" seemed ti indicate it worked just as intended, but still i can't seem to actually put it into the game... If someone more knowledgable and wiser could please tell me what i've done/am doing wrong, i'd be eternally gratefull!! Nordic Football Championship.fmf
#1 / Introducing... Click here to watch! Let me introduce you to Svante Nordberg. A successful ski-racer who regularly featured on the FIS World Cup, Svante's body gave up on him as he reached his thirties. His injuries were severe enough to force Svante to retire, however this allowed him the opportunity to focus on his other passion in life, football. Svante joined his local club, Helsingborgs IF, working with and learning from the backroom staff at the club. He quickly made an impression on the board, who could see he possessed exceptional footballing acumen, particularly for someone that has never kicked a professional ball. After Helsingborgs were relegated to the Superettan in 2016 and then failed to re-join the Allsvenskan in 2017 with a 7th place finish, the board decided to take a risk. In February 2018, Svante Nordberg was unveiled as Helsingborgs manager. His journey taking Helsingborgs back to the top of Sweden and beyond, begins now...
After the veritable success of the FM14 Nordic Super League structure - which some of you may remember - I could not help but to create something like it for FM2015 as well. I present to you, the Nordic Superleague! The Nordic Superleague is comprised of six divisions that incorporate each Nordic country from Sweden to the Faroe Islands into its structure. This format is the handiwork of swedish FM player deadwood, whose example here enabled me to swiftly create this league structure. Please do check it out, it's quite good - if you can read Swedish! I've simplified the league structure a tad for my own purposes, and I feel like this is at a serviceable quality right now. To play, simply select Sweden - the leagues will appear there. DOWNLOAD The file is compatible with the 15.3 updated database. Here is the league structure. Division 1 - Statoil Premier League 16 clubs Division 2 - Nordea Nordic Championship 18 clubs Division 3 - TeliaSonera Conference League 20 clubs Division 4 - Nokia Square 4. League 20 clubs each ___________Nokia Sq. Svenska Division 4 ___________Nokia Sq. Norska Norra Division 4 ___________Nokia Sq. Danska Västra Division 4 ___________Nokia Sq. Finska Västra Division 4 ___________Nokia Sq. Färöiska/Isländska Division 4 Division 5 - ISS National 5. League 20 clubs each ___________ISS National Svenska Division 5 ___________ISS National Norska Norra Division 5 ___________ISS National Danska Västra Division 5 ___________ISS National Finska Västra Division 5 ___________ISS National Färöiska/Isländska Division 5 Division 7 (Inactive) Nordic League (over a thousand clubs) So we've got three normal leagues and two divisions separated into Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Icelandic / Faroese subdivisions. For realism, I decided to include the subdivision names in Swedish. Keep in mind that this work is still far from perfect. There are probably some clubs I've left out of this entire league structure, though they won't have any impact on it (tested). I will be patching this file on-and-off when I feel the urge to do so. I hope many of you will find enjoyment from this!
